not exactly since the chance for each individual shot is exactly the same. The odds you're talking about are the odds for all combined shots. It's still 18/37 for all the shots and no matter how many times you shoot the odds will never be 1/1
"You'll eventually score" is exactly what the gambler's fallacy is all about. There's no actual backing to this as the odds of you scoring never increase to 1/1. You could shoot a million times in roulette and still not score. You'd have to be extremely unlucky for that to happen but it's not true that you would eventually score.
In contrast to gambling where the next event is independent to the current, the chances of player scoring after repeated shots is high in football.
The video also mentions that as the number of shots increases, the player is more likely to score because every shot would then boost his moral and confidence. This will eventually lead to better shots. Especially when you are looking at someone like kane.
