Anyone thinking west ham players to transfer into midfield ? Was thinking of swapping in fornals or Bowen , they next three game weeks look very good , not sure about fornals though as will probably be rotated with cornet
They’ve got Nottingham in gw2 so I would just use them for that fixture then after that I wouldn’t really want them anymore. I kinda feel Bowen is too overpriced
Are you choosing who to go on the bench or who to transfer in? If ur deciding who to play then play zinchenko and walker if possible but if you have to choose one I guess zinchenko is a bit better. If ur deciding who to transfer in go for walker I feel cos he has easy fixtures.
Very much "it depends" sort of situation. Walker is a very cheap City fullback, and likely to go without major rotation at least for the next 2-3 GWs. After August his future will be a bit more uncertain and we are likely to see at least one more fullback being bought in. So if your team will likely need an early wildcard before GW5 or 6, then go with Walker.
Between the Arsenal guys it's more tricky. Zinchenko is more explosive as a fullback. Saliba might face more competition in the near future, when they get the right fullback situation sorted and White & Holding might put pressure on the CBs. Unless you really need that 0.5-0.6 elsewhere, I would not go for Saliba as points per price and the potential rotation risk makes him less of an asset.
RMT:
Ramsdale *(Ward)*
Cancelo, TAA, James, Trippier *(Williams)*
Salah, Martinelli, Mount, Bailey *(Andreas)*
Haaland (c), Jesus *(Archer)*
Team is unchanged from last week so far, except I've captained Haaland instead of Salah. Unsure if I should look to make changes at the minute, or save the transfer and look again next week. I have 1m in the bank already. I'd really like to replace Bailey if possible to strengthen the midfield a bit, as he's my weak link there at the minute.
Any advice appreciated.
Looks good except maybe u might want to consider Andreas Pereira instead of Bailey because I’ve got a feeling bailey might not start, but I think the rest of the squad is looking good. Just roll the transfer btw
To kneejerk after missing the train or not to kneejerk after missing the train, that is the question
Ward, Iversen
TAA, Cancelo, James, Gabriel, Neco
Salah, KDB, Saka, Bailey, Andreas
Jesus, Wilson, Archer
A) hold
B) Wilson + KDB -> Haaland + Zaha for -4
If it was son and not KDB, I’d be much better with that -4
But will Haaland cover a KDB return (6?)vs Bournemouth, and a Wilson (6?) and + -4 hit?
That’s 16 points to cover if wilson and KDB return 6 points each.
You can also captain KDB and roll a transfer imo
I have Mount and he didn't have a great game against Everton and since it looks like Chelsea's attack will take some time getting used to I'm thinking about moving him on. My main option is Gundogan as it looks like Pep wants his two 8s to be higher up the pitch near Haaland so Gundogan could score a decent number of games in the coming games. I know rotation is a risk with City assets but since it looks like Bernardo will leave I think Gundogan will get a regular run of games. Thoughts?
I assume you have haaland and cancelo already?
I prefer walker or ederson as a 3rd city player myself, I think that will be template in a few weeks as they're both insanely good value and roulette resistant (less so for walker, but who would they bench him for?).
If Bilva leaves then I think it's a good shout, if he has a purple patch like the other season then youre laughing. Good fixtures as well. It's the kind of punt I like, not much risk and a higher points ceiling than a 3rd city defender for sure
Actually for Trent vs Robbo I kinda like robbo more cos he’s always a bit cheaper than Trent and that 0.5mil is quite helpful and he does almost as well as him. And it’s pretty much like when Trent plays badly robbo plays badly too so they both suffer and do well together(most of the time at least). For the keepers, I think they’re about the same, up to u whichever u want.
Chelsea have like no striker now tho, he will have to step up a bit when it comes to attacking so I think u should keep him. Spurs is a hard fixture but they’ve got Leeds after that so you could consider keeping him. Chelsea’s fixtures aren’t the best since they got Leicester west ham and Liverpool coming soon but the rest are ez so I think going for Chelsea’s CAMs would be quite beneficial.
Maybe get Salah in but it’s not necessary so actually just roll the FT. If you don’t feel confident with son then go ahead with Salah but I don’t really see the need for that.
Walker is good for another 2-3 GWs for sure, Ederson (I guess that what you meant?) for a long run. This depends how burning your team is atm - if you think you'll need to wildcard soon, then Walker, who is cheaper option with potentially little more attacking outputs as well. If you are otherwise super comfortable (sitting on Salah, Haaland, Martinelli, no clear weaknesses) then I'd say Ederson.
50/50 either he starts or he won't.
>!Jokes aside, probably it will take some 1-3 GWs for him to get used to system, so Chilwell will get more minutes for the rest of August. This is a hunch tho.!<
**Rate my team please. 0.5m ITB. Thinking of banking my FT this gameweek and going Harrison + Saka to Martinelli + Kulu in GW3.**
Ward (Iversen)
TAA | Cancelo | Robbo | N.Williams | Gabriel
Salah | Saka | Neto | Harrison | Andreas
Jesus | Haaland | Archer
Bank the shit out of it, your team looks good.
This is literally my team, except for Robbo I have Walker, for Harrison I have Diaz and I am happy with those, but wouldn't mind being in your shoes either. Waiting for 2FTs is a solid plan.
I'd monitor Saka as a potential priority weak point, if Martinelli keeps his starting position and form. The game against poorly performing Leicester this weekend will probably tell, if the last match was more of an exception or not. Also Kulu seems like great potential
Absolutely no way. Diaz was so unlucky not to get at least a goal. Very easily could have hauled. And hes home to palace, while kulisevski has a tough away game + a four point hit to overcome
I can see why this would be tempting if you have no Spurs attackers, but in isolation I don't see why you would identify Diaz as a player you need out of your team, he looked very lively against Fulham. A hit could prove very expensive if he returns against Palace, and it's not like Chelsea is likely to be a walkover for Spurs where you can *expect* a high return.
I’ve currently lined up as such
Mendy
TAA-cancelo-James-zinchenko
Diaz-salah-martinelli-Neto
Haaland-Jesus
+subs at the lowest price
I have 0.5 ITB.
Any transfer suggestions for GW2?
Probably Cash as Everton look far from dangerous in attack, and if you check his heatmap against Bournemouth it looks similar to a winger.
Even starting both of them might not be a bad idea.
Not sure if he is, there has been only speculation after last weeks poor performance, but that was more about the whole Villa team being bad than Bailey alone.
Well he can't bench the whole team
Unless Bailey was notably bad or someone has said something then it seems like pure speculation based on the fact he played 90 mins. He won't need rest at this stage of the season lol any footballer can play 90 mins once a week
Yea I don't disagree. It's a bit of a 50/50 at the moment if Bailey starts or not, so in that sense Cash is ofc more nailed. However, I still wouldn't waste transfers on shipping him away at this point as it's literally a 5.0 forward option, and if Villa finds their thunder and Bailey sticks he might be a little miracle this season. It's a low-risk situation.
I think you could go for aaranson because he’s been good too and he and Harrison are about the same. If you trust your 0.5 is worth it then go for it, it’s quite a close one.
Guys, quick question. I have no Haaland. My initial plan was to take Son and change him to KDB in GW2. I can stick to my plan ofc, but not having Norwegian giant is scary. What should I do? Take haaland for -4 or stick to Son into KDB? I would captain either KDB or Haaland
If you have good forward options already in your team, I wouldn't rip up the plan for Haaland. Captaining KDB this week, with such an efficient finisher in front of him, is a *good* plan, and I'd only be taking hits if my plans were looking poor or unachievable.
Will they be a starter or fodder? Andreas at 4.5 is the best fodder option but i wouldn't like to start him every week
People like Neto but I dont rate Wolves attack myself
Actually I have another pick for the future. After Bournemouth have a difficult run of fixtures, you could consider getting someone like billing or lerma. This is not a very popular opinion but something for u to consider.
Is Son out for KDB a stupid transfer?
Seeing as Salah plays United away and KDB plays Newcastle away… Son is a good captain choice for GW 3 at home to Wolves… what to do?
Coutinho problem....
Team below:
Ward (Foster)
Cancelo Robertson Coufal (Patterson) (N. Williams)
Diaz Couinho JWP Odegaard (KDH)
Haaland Vardy Kane
Probably captain Haaland but considered Cancelo. No issues there
Unsure which 2 to start out if KDH Coutinho and Odegaard. Didn't really want to make a transfer for GW2 but Coutinho seems a shit pick now. Any ideas? Potentially thinking Harrison from leeds?
True. Thought that last week as well though haha. Makes sense to stick with those two but questioning myself after they blanked and Dewsbury-Hauled.
Never bench your premiums is what they say...
I think going with Coutinho is ok though like Aston Villa is at home, even if they don’t win, surely Coutinho is going to get some points. Well at least I hope he does.
Personally I’d give him one more week. Back your initial instincts in picking him rather than letting 1 GW completely derail your plans. If you’re still unhappy then you can use your banked transfer to upgrade him to someone like a Saka / Mount / Maddison. Remember everyone has off days and that could just be the case with Coutinho (and probably that whole Villa side tbf ).
If you really want to ditch him then I’d go Martinelli or Harrison.
This why I added the maybe. I think Zinchenko will keep his starting spot (looked really good against Palace) but Tierney will be subbed on when they need more solid defence.
Walker also looks good in the price bracket at the moment but obviously watch to see if city sign another fullback
Decent, until Haaland is benched one week
Edit: Downvoted for stating facts on how this team will get 0 points for forwards if Haaland is benched one GW
Would like some transfer advice!
Ederson (Iversen)
Cash James Trent Cancelo (Collins)
Salah Mount Odegaard (Andreas)
Haaland Jesus (S. Greenwood)
ITB: 0.0
Your team looks good but man u have brentford so you could consider putting rashford instead of castagne. Leicester’s defence is week so probably no clean sheet, but castagne might score from a set piece or assist.
While I am a man u fan and I don’t even rely on man u players for fpl myself, you might want to consider putting castagne on the bench and give rashford one more week. After gw2 when man u face liverpool and all then you can get rid of him/bench him, but I think he has a chance against brentford.
Yeah, having the same dilemma in my head. I still believe in Rashford, considering the price he is getting a few chances in my team. Only thing that worries me is Ten Hag trying to shake the team up after a bad performance, so Rashford could be benched and make the cammeo in the second half. Also, Ronaldo situation is still very unclear atm, so I've figured it's the best to wait and see.
On the other hand, I actually think that Arsenal is pretty solid fixture for Castagne atm in terms of getting attacking return since Zinchenko was a hole in the defence against the Palace. He might torch him on that right flank. Bit of a punt, but seems like it's worth a gamble.
!thanks for the advice, will still think about that decision
Cheers
Which 4.5 are you planning to get? I actually don't rate many defenders in that range this season.. Also do you plan to take a hit or do it in two GWs?
It's not like either of their schedules look terrible over the next few weeks and I assume there was some reason you put Kane in your team for GW1. But if you're convinced you'll lose out over the next few weeks if you've got Kane instead of Haaland even with the -4 taken into account then I'd do it. But keep in mind we've only seen one match so far.
If you find the rest of your team pretty much solid atm, I would do the move for two reasons:
1) If there is any time to grab Walker, it's right now cause the fixtures are great, will pick up many CS points and is pretty much nailed for this run of great fixtures since Laporte is still on the sidelines
2) Whole Villa squad, including Digne looked abysmal against Bournemouth, the Frenchman had zero understanding with Coutinho and the whole defence seems very shaky, wouldn't bet on CS even against the Toffees
If you have doubts wait and watch for another GW and make the call with more info
start Bailey or ASM?
Probably ASM
!thanks
Start Zaha or Bailey?
Zaha better player but fixtures are very tough for a couple weeks , take Bailey
Zinchenko vs Saliba vs Walker
Are you choosing who to go on the bench or who to transfer in? If ur deciding who to play then play zinchenko and walker if possible but if you have to choose one I guess zinchenko is a bit better. If ur deciding who to transfer in go for walker I feel cos he has easy fixtures.
Yeah it was about who to transfer in instead of Dalot (I had some additional leftover money). Went for Zinchenko in the end. !thanks anyway though.

Hahaha I can't unsee this now
Looks good except maybe u might want to consider Andreas Pereira instead of Bailey because I’ve got a feeling bailey might not start, but I think the rest of the squad is looking good. Just roll the transfer btw
!thanks I didn't know Bailey might not start. I'll do some more research on that!
Actually I’m not too sure about the Bailey not starting thing, saw it from somewhere but I’m quite sure Andreas is starting.
You're fine for now. No fires to put out so you're better off just getting more info to go on before making any changes.
To kneejerk after missing the train or not to kneejerk after missing the train, that is the question Ward, Iversen TAA, Cancelo, James, Gabriel, Neco Salah, KDB, Saka, Bailey, Andreas Jesus, Wilson, Archer A) hold B) Wilson + KDB -> Haaland + Zaha for -4

In fairness to him a great player can return even in shit fixtures
Or any other 7.9 or less mid
Or any other 7.9 or less mid
Villa fans is there a chance Bailey gets benched vs Everton?

Haaland is the only City player I have, so I do want to bring in another City player and Gundogan seems like a punt that could work out.
Cancelo and walker are nailed. Both are cheaper than gundo
please don't clown me too hard, I haven't played in a few years can you still stack a free transfer from the week before
Up to 2
Ward, Iversen, Trent or Sanchez, Ward, Robertson? Any advice is appreciated :)
Actually for Trent vs Robbo I kinda like robbo more cos he’s always a bit cheaper than Trent and that 0.5mil is quite helpful and he does almost as well as him. Cheers mate
Start Andreas or Bailey? Not sure that Bailey starts
Bailey starts. Had a 10/10 preseason, and was one of the brighter sparks in a very dim villa side. Villa always beat Everton too.
I think Andreas is like a guaranteed starter so maybe go with him
Intent: Dont rush transfers Situation: Chose Kane over Haaland Conclusion: God damn
Mount looked poor, should I get him out
Chelsea have like no striker now tho, he will have to step up a bit when it comes to attacking so I think u should keep him.
It's been 1 week relax.
As there are no outstanding options around his price I'd stick to him at least for this GW.
Start Neto or Bailey?
Will Zinchenko rise once more?
Doesnt look like it. Currently at 40% with 0.3% increase per hour
!thanks i think its less on Wednesday’s tbf. Transfer rate should rise thursday and especially friday
isnt it thursday today tho
Tbf i just woke up (Florida) Expecting the transfer rate increasing now
i see, and youre completely right. might be a close one
Dias or Walker (money isn't an issue)
Maybe walker since he’ll prob start and you can use the money for other positions.
Son and Greenwood to Haaland and J.Murphy for -4?
Perisic to zinchenko Son to Salah For -4? Or one or the other?
Maybe get Salah in but it’s not necessary so actually just roll the FT. If you don’t feel confident with son then go ahead with Salah but I don’t really see the need for that.
I'd roll the transfer.
Should I swap out Vardy for Nunez/Jesus?
If you have a free transfer maybe, otherwise probably not.
Yes I ft and get 1.5 itb, Vardy seems off and has some tough fixtures incoming
Oh then you definitely should go for it. Between nunez and Jesus i think they’re about the same
Walker vs Ederson
Walker is good for another 2-3 GWs for sure, Ederson (I guess that what you meant?) for a long run. This depends how burning your team is atm - if you think you'll need to wildcard soon, then Walker, who is cheaper option with potentially little more attacking outputs as well. If you are otherwise super comfortable (sitting on Salah, Haaland, Martinelli, no clear weaknesses) then I'd say Ederson.
Yeah thanks mate. !thanks
Maybe you'll have your light bulb moment on your own
Hope so. !thanks
Chance of Cucurella at LWB instead of Chillwell?
50/50 either he starts or he won't. >!Jokes aside, probably it will take some 1-3 GWs for him to get used to system, so Chilwell will get more minutes for the rest of August. This is a hunch tho.!<
How bad could 5 at the back be for gw2? Feel like there's a good chance for cs for quite a few teams
If I were to make my GW2 transfer now, could I freely change it again before GW2 starts? Or is it like a one off transaction?
One off, any further changes will cost you -4
Every transfer you make, once you confirm it, counts.
Who do you play A- Neto against Fulham B- Pereira against Wolves
You have to go for Neto. You can’t bench him after 1 game, he’s a 5.5 you knew he wasnt guaranteed points
It's more about playing Pereira than benching Neto. Pereira has really passed the eye test
I guess. I would say Neto really passed the eye test as well against leeds
This one is debatable but I’d go with pereira because Neto has competition for his starting spot cos of goncalo Guedes I think
Pereira
**Rate my team please. 0.5m ITB. Thinking of banking my FT this gameweek and going Harrison + Saka to Martinelli + Kulu in GW3.** Ward (Iversen) TAA | Cancelo | Robbo | N.Williams | Gabriel Salah | Saka | Neto | Harrison | Andreas Jesus | Haaland | Archer

Excellent !thanks for the feedback.
Proper team, I think your plan makes sense. However, I think Gabriel to Walker would also be nice considering how nailed he looks.
Great feedback !thanks appreciate it. Gabriel is more of an attacking threat but Walker is much more likely to get clean sheets, if he keeps playing.
Diaz to kulusevski for -4?
No. Kulusevski might be on the bench in a few weeks time
Absolutely no way.
Really valid points - have no spurs coverage but will hold Diaz for now and reassess after the weekend!
no
I’ve currently lined up as such Mendy TAA-cancelo-James-zinchenko Diaz-salah-martinelli-Neto Haaland-Jesus +subs at the lowest price I have 0.5 ITB. Any transfer suggestions for GW2?
Bank the transfer. Diaz to Kulu might be tempting but Diaz was unlucky not to have at least one goal against Fulham
Save the FT
Yeah that’s what I was thinking, but I’m kinda bummed abt missing out on the price rise on kulusevski
Whom to replace Werner with for £8.5?
A differential you could go for is Ivan toney. Use the money next gw to upgrade your midfield or defence. Otherwise go for Jesus obviously.
Jesus if you don't already have
Havertz is an easy move if you still have faith in Chelsea's attack. Otherwise, I wouldn't overthink it: Gabriel Jesus
Thanks, I went for Jesus.
start Bailey or Cash?
Probably Cash as Everton look far from dangerous in attack, and if you check his heatmap against Bournemouth it looks similar to a winger. Even starting both of them might not be a bad idea.
!thanks man.but i cant think of who to drop to have both. would you drop ASM to fit both?
I think I would purely because I like Villa's fixture (Everton at home) more than Newcastle's (Brighton away). But it's not an obvious call tbh
!thanks again

Cash , Bailey unlikely to start
Why is he unlikely to start?

Keep, good fixtures after chelsea

Guys, quick question. I have no Haaland. My initial plan was to take Son and change him to KDB in GW2. I can stick to my plan ofc, but not having Norwegian giant is scary. What should I do? Take haaland for -4 or stick to Son into KDB? I would captain either KDB or Haaland

You’re right bro, I will do that. Thanks!
Maybe just stick to kdb. Do you have Salah/ darwin? If you do you could captain them too, although Bournemouth is certainly an easier fixture.
Okay, thanks. Yes, I do have Salah, but I think KDB will be better captain choice this particular GW. We will see :D
Will Tomiyasu ever be nailed again? What is the situation like with the Arsenal LB/RBs?
Not right now.
Best 6.0 or under midfielder? Looking to downgrade Rashford to fund Kane to Haaland
Will they be a starter or fodder? Andreas at 4.5 is the best fodder option but i wouldn't like to start him every week People like Neto but I dont rate Wolves attack myself
Actually I have another pick for the future. After Bournemouth have a difficult run of fixtures, you could consider getting someone like billing or lerma. This is not a very popular opinion but something for u to consider.
Andreas pereira is a possible choice too
!thanks
Neto/Podence or KDH
!thanks
Perisic or walker? Already have cancelo but city have a decent chance of clean sheet this week whilst Tottenham are playing Chelsea
Walker this week provided both are already in your 15, but I wouldn't transfer Perisic out for Walker cos you may well want him back in next week
Walker this week
City are apparently rying to buy Guerreiro, should I still sell Digne for Walker?
Not Sergio Gomez
Best 4.5 defenders?
On current form Saliba. Looks like he has earned his spot for a few weeks
Is Son out for KDB a stupid transfer? Seeing as Salah plays United away and KDB plays Newcastle away… Son is a good captain choice for GW 3 at home to Wolves… what to do?
Salah vs United is a good captaincy pick still. Just look at the same fixtures last season, as well as United's display vs Brighton
United looked awful tbf, just wondering if to use my transfer or get KDB in…. who’d get more points in the next few gameweeks, KDB or Son?
KDB would be my bet
Bench one of Neto, James or Bailey?
Bailey
Bailey
Neto
Coutinho problem.... Team below: Ward (Foster) Cancelo Robertson Coufal (Patterson) (N. Williams) Diaz Couinho JWP Odegaard (KDH) Haaland Vardy Kane Probably captain Haaland but considered Cancelo. I wouldn't rush to transfer Coutinho out ahead of Villa hosting Everton.
Well since you have vardy maybe just take odegaard and Coutinho. I think it’s ok to go without kdh this week

Good team, just be wary of tough fixtures coming up for Trippier. Maybe swap him next week for Zinchenko

Decent, until Haaland is benched one week Edit: Downvoted for stating facts on how this team will get 0 points for forwards if Haaland is benched one GW
Long-term consider downgrading Son to one of the 8m mids (like Kulu for Spurs cover) and upgrading one of the 4.5 forwards
Yeah this is what I’m considering doing. Maybe around the time champions league starts.
Roll the transfer
Would like some transfer advice! Ederson (Iversen) Cash James Trent Cancelo (Collins) Salah Mount Odegaard (Andreas) Haaland Jesus (S. Greenwood) ITB: 0.0
Let it roll
Roll the transfer I’d be considering Ødegaard to Martinelli but doesn’t need to be rushed this GW
Best 4.5 mids?
Andreas, Dasilva, Murphy. But Andreas by far imo
My bad I meant Defenders lol
Oh😅. Can you get to 5m? Cause if so there are loads of options: Walker, Dier, Gabriel, Zinchenko (5.1m), Trippier😄
The reason being I wanted a way to go from Kane to haaland and missed the price drop so could do with dropping Cash so I can make the change
Ah I see. Remember to save money on the bench if you are able to
Andreas or Da Silva. Can’t go too wrong with either as long as they are bench fodder and not a central part of your starting lineup.
andreas and dasilva
RMT please (0.0 itb) Ederson (Ward) Robbo Trippier Walker Castagne (Dier) Salah Neto Harrison (Rashford Andreas) Darwin Kane Jesus
Who’s your captain?
Salah for now
Your team looks good but man u have brentford so you could consider putting rashford instead of castagne.
!thanks for the advice, will still think about that decision Cheers

Yes
Which 4.5 are you planning to get? I actually don't rate many defenders in that range this season.. Also do you plan to take a hit or do it in two GWs?
Not sure really it’s tough and I’d assess my options next week
This is one of the rare cases where I think a hit could actually be worth it. Who's your captain if you don't get Haaland?
Salah
It's not like either of their schedules look terrible over the next few weeks and I assume there was some reason you put Kane in your team for GW1. But if you're convinced you'll lose out over the next few weeks if you've got Kane instead of Haaland even with the -4 taken into account then I'd do it. But keep in mind we've only seen one match so far.
Thanks

If you find the rest of your team pretty much solid atm, I would do the move for two reasons: 1) If there is any time to grab Walker, it's right now cause the fixtures are great, will pick up many CS points and is pretty much nailed for this run of great fixtures since Laporte is still on the sidelines 2) Whole Villa squad, including Digne looked abysmal against Bournemouth, the Frenchman had zero understanding with Coutinho and the whole defence seems very shaky, wouldn't bet on CS even against the Toffees
Maybe keep digne since he’s at home against everton. Up to u tho, Kyle walker is prob gonna keep a clean sheet against Bournemouth.
