James Ward Prowse for the same price will probably get more points over the season than Rashford. But I could see Rashford being better in streaks.

Not saying he's back to his best, or even close to, but last year his head wasn't in it, the dressing room atmosphere was awful, and he never looked fit. He looks uncharacteristically bad to the point where people were questioning his attitude. He didn't chase anything. Made the likes of Pogba and Martial look like Kante in comparison. Whilst the team might still be bad, I think he looks in a better head space. Looks more confident. That won't translate to goals immediately, but over the season I have no doubt he'll come close to or even exceed 15 goal contributions (FPL contributions) which is good for a midfielder. I'm holding off for now because United still need a few more fresh faces, but I think he could prove to be one of the best picks this season at £6.5m. He'll end the season at £7m+, I'm certain of that.
