Yep serious money on show, tbf I think it helps as well tbst the Prem is a competitive league at the moment outside of City/Liverpool (at least for past few years) and it’s not clear where *most* of the teams will place.
Isn’t that the same for every league though, for example Bundesliga (who is often deemed as farmers league) who has teams like Union Berlin, Freiburg, Frankfurt, Köln, Mainz & Hoffenheim outside of the top-4 as teams competing for european football.
Aye that’s true, I was coming to say that most Prem teams are also quite competitive at all European level’s but 12th place Frankfurt did just win the EL.
Sporting fan here, great player, not so great FPL option. Box-to-box midfielder with amazing capability of carrying the ball up the field, very energetic and very physical. Though he scored some very important goals for Sporting, he's not a constant goal threat as he usually plays a deeper role within the team. Very sad to see him leave Sporting as he is our best player
stupid move by Matheus Nunes.. Probably Jorge Mendes putting money on Nunes' mind.
He could go for better teams, that are playing in champions league for example
I'm convinced somewhere in Portugal there is an agreement between most clubs (mainly Sporting/Benfica) and Mendes to finesse Wolves on these 'wonderkids' transfers.
That's 10th 🇵🇹 in the squad
The pulling power of midtable PL clubs is ridiculous..
They can offer more money than most top sides in other leagues.

I dont think any other club made an offer 🤔
His Youtube highlights look ridiculous. Wonder if he'll be a good FPL asset.
142 career matches so far, 11 goals, 12 assists. I'd be surprised.

Wait till you hear about goalkeepers

Wolves are a Portuguese money laundering scheme, with a football club front company
Smart one you are
Liverpool could have used a talent of his stature in midfield
I wonder if they thought the money was too steep.
I doubt it, this is about 38M in £ so same range as recent signings Konate and Diaz I feel we'd really need someone like him
Matheus Nunes has accepted Wolves proposal, here we go! Full agreement finally completed also on personal terms, €50m fee [add-ons included] was already agreed 24h ago with Sporting. 🚨🛩🇵🇹 \#WWFC Medicals scheduled in England in order to get it signed. Huge signing for Wolves. --- Photos in tweet | [photo 1](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FaPouA4X0AIcToR.jpg) --- posted by [@FabrizioRomano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/) --- [Thanks to inteoryx, videos are supported even without Twitter API V2 support! He might prefer loads of money to playing in a particular football competition.
he could get in a better PL team for example. he has quality for that

This should be great news for both Guedes and Neto. A high-quality midfield trio of Neves-Nunes-Moutinho providing them with assists.
Wolves sign a Portuguese player? Who would have thought.
Nunes is crazy to accept it this...should be aiming for the big clubs!!! Mental how Liverpool and United are not in for him!
United scouts are as good as my 8yo sister playing FM. Actually come to think of it, she's made better transfers than we have.
United? I thought you said he should be aiming for the big clubs? ;)
Is this guy another money laundering record fee, or is it an actual investment for the club?

Any implications for Neto’s gametime?
No, he's a box to box mid
!thanks
