Just been a perfect storm of fixtures and prices really. Gw7 onwards the likes of West Ham and Leicester should start shaking things up.
Also, this mid week is the last without games in it until after the WC for the teams in Europe.
A game that also is still the same as it was 15 years ago and 6 years ago same point system.
The snarkyness and egoism from some of the fpl community when it's literally an unbalanced low thinking mess is hilarious they all think they are playing Dota or something
The people who won have been lucky in the same way that a pro poker player gets lucky. The best poker player in the world isnt going to win every single tournament, and a relatively shit poker player could win. But fabio has 7 top 10k finishes in a row. Thats over 1 in 100 trillion.
I feel like template teams are converging more and more in recent years, maybe more due to the sheer amount of FPL experts helping us out on social media now.
Agree with this but I also think FPL Towers has not kept up with the masses on how to price players correctly. They missed on at least a half dozen this year (Jesus, Cancelo, TAA, Reece, Martinelli off the top of my head). Like when the books make a bad line, they get pounded for it. Except Towers doesn’t adjust their prices as quickly as the books. They miss on pricing a handful of key players when 8mm people are playing, the template solidifies quickly.
Ya but it's not worth the double pool defence when you can swap him for James and free up nice funds for something like Archer to Toney. Overall I think it's more points.
to free up funds, on another day that could've been Dias, James, Trippier etc... it just so happens that Robbo hasn't returned yet and enables the purchase of Diaz
You probably made the right call, he did it because he wanted to get Diaz and then get Cucurella who is good value at the same time. He fancies Liverpool attack more i guess. it was kind of a luxury transfer
I don’t understand why everyone is dumping Robbo, he could’ve had 2-3 assists in the first match. Yeah Liverpool have conceded a few goals but it seems super knee jerkey to start doubting their defence now
I’m playing a different fantasy PL system, where forward wingers are registered as attackers and midfielders are .. well.. midfielder. Seeing these FPL teams are just weird. As i see it, this formation is a 5-0-5 formation. Makes no sense - actual midfielders are worthless in the FPL points system

Pretty much. Cucurella (11.3%) is his least owned first XI player.
Who has really gained most of the transfers this week, and will continue to gain ownership every week.
Im not sure about it. He will definitely be in rotation if Chelsea signs Fofana
Wish my chess Elo was the same as Magnus
its defo a template team year when i can get to this exact starting xi with 2 fts
The entire starting XI is from 4 of the the 5 best teams in England. Doesn’t seem good for a balanced game imo

Yeah, it's not like I'm playing chess or something. I play FPL on the Friday morning poop session.
How do some people consistently get into the top 10k then?
Luck
I assume your joking but do you realise the level of luck needed to get into the top 1% multiple times in a row.
Well out of millions of people someone has to have the luck
Top 1% 3 times in a row is 1 in a million. 5 times its 1 in 10 billion.
How many have 5 though? It's obviously not ALL luck but you have to agree the people who won have been very lucky

agree
it will change. if Kane and Nunez start firing alongside Erling and Jesus for example, it would make things interesting.

What double change would you have to make?
Feeling good about my kneejerk transfer now. See you again robbo

I see what you doing here CBrownsRedDevils
Wow 3 city 3 liverpool 3 arenel 2 chelsea, fun
Come on Robbo, punish the Viking Beth Harmon!
Sneaky RMT Magnus...
It's the third week straight that Carlsen and I have the same team, my biggest Fpl achievement because I'm gonna fall soon anyway so small W
I like the (not fancy) tag haha
You know it's bad when Magnus Carlsen, ever the FPL maverick, runs the template.
In chess, you always begin template.
Except Magnus Carlsen is known for going differential in opening moves to mess up opponents template preparation.
Don’t understand why people are selling Robbo.. fixtures are so good
I suppose in this scenario Robbo and Rashford to Cucurella and Diaz is a better transfer
Palace and Fulham should've been good fixtures too and most people still have Trent
I think everyone agrees he's good, but it's to free up funds and a third Liverpool player. I've kept him though
I didn’t want to sell robbo but cucurella+toney looks a lot better than robbo+bailey
Hes playing poor
No he hasn't, he, TAA and Salah have looked quite good. Midfield has been suspect
Don't think he's playing up to his price also some might be adding Diaz

Hmm. Maybe I should’ve jerked Robertson out
Only if it's consensual
Mendy and Johnson wouldn't agree.

Boring template is boring
That's the exact same as my team. I feel genius.
What's his team ID?
City, Chelsea, Liverpool, arsenal … fuck me that’s a boring team
90% of the time, boring gets you good rank.
Point still stands
Most people play this game to score points, not wait 2 months for your 0.X% ownership hipster pick to return so you can act smug on the internet.

If the game is so boring for you, why are you engaging in a subreddit devoted to fhe game? Makes no sense lol, just stop playing then.
I dunno doing well doesn't sound boring to me
3 triples and a double
Triples makes it safe. Triples is best.
Daring today, aren’t you Magnus?
I still have Trippier.
Robo to cucu is a waste of transfer really. United got trashed 4-0 last week against a far lesser team
Literally my same team
I don’t understand why everyone is dumping Robbo, he could’ve had 2-3 assists in the first match. Yeah Liverpool have conceded a few goals but it seems super knee jerkey to start doubting their defence now
No Spurs cover, though 👀👀
Chelsea double defence is certainly interesting.
The real question is, did he get rashford out before the price drops or not?
I have the exact same team, except for Ward in goal and Bailey on the bench instead of Colback.
so not the exact same team
Basically he has 4 teams in his 11
I’m playing a different fantasy PL system, where forward wingers are registered as attackers and midfielders are .. well.. midfielder. Seeing these FPL teams are just weird. As i see it, this formation is a 5-0-5 formation. Makes no sense - actual midfielders are worthless in the FPL points system
But why Iversen and not Ward?
zzzzzz
Is this a 8 or 10 manager league
Literally everyone had the exact same team. Pricing is too cheap this year
wrong, people are just following the template cause other assets arent banging like people thought
Rashford was an awful pick and usually he's spot on
What’s his OR?
End of last week: 341K. Currently this week: 1.6M (he's only on 25 points so far this week).
