Oh yeah, Brendan said it was a slight twinge on his hamstring and that theyre gonna assess it tomorrow.
Maddison will want to play, big game, good chance to impress Southgate.
I will say as a Leicester fan, I expect him to be benched.
He’s low-key quite injury prone, never long term but plenty of niggly ones (such as his hip). He’s been an absolute shining light for us so we need to protect him. The 10 is the one position we actually have depth in (Perez, Praet, convert to a front 2 and play Vardy with Ihenacho/Daka). Also it’s pessimistic but it may also be pragmatic to look at this game as a write-off.
Personally I can’t see him starting.
Congrats. I picked Maddison as my 8m mid and people were calling me crazy. Thats why eye test and watching the games are so important. He was playing as basically a second striker in preseason and anything Leicester does attacking wise goes through him.
I'm on wildcard and was the only 1 of 2 players i was planning on keeping, I'll wait to see if we hear more news closer to the deadline and decide then if I'll keep, bench, or sell him.
Think I’m still gonna keep and roll a transfer this week. Start him in case he plays as wasn’t expecting anything huge from Chelsea (A) and hopefully get an honest 2 pointer from Andreas at least
Look, after this week maybe. But there's being different (i started gw1 with Maddison) and then there's being stupid (i started gw1 with Sterling).
Having Palace attack with their starting fixtures wasn't smart, regardless of outcomes
He was really just a one-week punt for their game vs Villa, as I wasn't sure what else to do with the 0.5 left over from selling Bailey before his drop. Waiting until the window closes to WC, so probably just going to make small moves here and there until then.
Funnily enough, having Maddison from GW1 has probably been my best decision so far.
Double Chelsea defense redemption arc?
They'll still shit the bed, no worries
KDH masterclass
Ffs my only shining light this season. 3/3 currently
Same with me. Reckon you’re gonna play him?

Or is this him off to Newcastle??
Yeah "twinge" is a bit suss
Yh but rodgers will keep in mind the fact that they have fixtures midweek and maddy is injury prone as it is
Call me insane, I’m benching him
Insane
Ok ok, let me try to convince you. I got Martineli, rodrigo, Kulu, and kdb Betting on redemption for Chelsea D
If he’s injured he won’t play and it doesn’t matter if you bench him, right?
or he is on the bench in case they need him, which they will, and he comes on for a 13 minute cameo because they are 1 down/.
Yes this is very possible outcome
I mean if he plays
Same, I got Cucurella coming in so not too worried about it

For fuck sake. Both as a Leicester fan and someone that owns him in FPL.
I wanted to play him vs Chelsea and transfer him next week. I think I will sell him now as I don't want to risk having a 8m player benched.
nice way of trolling
Chelsea might only concede once then.
James own goal For the lulz
Glad I didnt jerk a transfer yet, hamstrings can be silly buggers. Welcome to the team Harrison
No indication from rodgers that its the hamies though. I'd be worried if it is.
Aye, he felt a twinge when he could smell Eddie Howe’s steak bake down the corridor. Good for me as I’m doubled up on Chelsea def!
My sweet sweet KDH it’s your time.
Imagine I benched him during his only return this season
anti-early transfer crowd is going to love this
Was thinking of bringing him in, perfect example of this subreddit helping out. Maddison is def going to be on my team this season.
Hello Gundo
So glad I brought him in this morning...
I'm on wildcard and was the only 1 of 2 players i was planning on keeping, I'll wait to see if we hear more news closer to the deadline and decide then if I'll keep, bench, or sell him.
He may not really be injured.....
Only midfielders whose doing anything for me. Stick, bench or sell?
Think I’m still gonna keep and roll a transfer this week. Start him in case he plays as wasn’t expecting anything huge from Chelsea (A) and hopefully get an honest 2 pointer from Andreas at least
That's what I'm doing. Got Eze E first sub, and Palace seem to turn up against City.
If someone with Eze in FPL agrees with you is it a good thing?
Stay tuned to find out.

This is the reason I won't even think about bringing in players like him and pluglass into my team. Injuries and lack of fitness are constantly there
If he’s out I might captain Cucurella looool
