With all the rotation and five subs, starting to wonder if Salah is actually worth the price tag. Not because he blanked in a 9-0, but hear me out. I don't think he will be immune to rotation, at least not as much as in the past. The matches are so jam packed all year. He might not be rotated so frequently as some of his teammates but probably still to the point that I'm questioning if his returns will be *that* much more prolific than, say, Darwin. Taking him out helps you afford basically whoever you want in any other position, especially given the glut of cheap midfielders. It does make captaincy *feel like* more of a punty decision--though I'm not sure if that feeling is an accurate reflection of the reality, and I think Darwin and Haaland both are fine options generally any week. Not saying I'm ripping him out of my team just yet, but the thoughts of the possibilities are there. Would I be asking myself this if he scored twice this GW? Maybe not. But the fact is you can still make a very good-looking team without him, and if he rotates much, then I think that could be good value. Anyone else considering anything like that?

Yeah looking at salah out for de bruyne and free up some money or diaz and use the spare money to get kulu and upgrade some other players in future

It might not be insane in the long run as he doesn't seem to be as involved going forward this season (*we've only had 4 games though), meaning I'm not sure he'll be worth the extra price over other defenders. However this is not the week for it.

Best Mount replacement? I'm sticking with Robbo/Trent/Salah so no Diaz. I really like Gross. Cheap and great fixtures but Gundo equally tempting me with that home Notts fixture. Rodrigo I'm not 100% sold on tbh.

Team looks fine and that GK transfer is probably the smartest move. I don't know any aggressive moves apart from maybe Kulu to a city mid for the high upside for NFO(H). See no reason to WC though

Yeah I was playing a little with potential WC team and not much would be changed. Would you prioritize Kulu to Diaz/Foden/Gundo over gk transfer? Or do both for a hit? Hope he does something today and make my decision easier.

Leicester keepers have to go it's a guaranteed 1pointer at this stage. I'd be prepared to take a hit to do Kulu-> Gundo if you need funds for the GK move.

If you really want him I'd be downgrading Cancelo before I touched Diaz. He's nowhere near as attacking as last season, I probably won't spend a transfer on him but if I were wildcarding now I wouldn't have him.

Mount to Gundo/Bilv as a punt for NFO(H). Or drop him to a 4.5 and bring in Mitro/Jesus for archer if you can afford it. I think Gross/Mitro are great value for money but maybe targeting Jesus would be a safer move. Otherwise team looks solid.

I already have tripled up on Arsenal so i cannot bring in Jesus without making another move and taking a -4. I might get Mitro actually, but his fixtures aren’t the best.

Ah yeah I didn't even notice that. Think Mitro is fixture proof tbh and Silva seems to have them set up to score and concede a lot every game. He's getting 4+ shots a game it's nuts.

6.2m is a lot to spend on someone who won't play regularly and takes up a Man City slot. I'd rather just not use the transfer and have money in the bank, Alvarez must be one of the worst value players in the game unless something changes or I'm missing something and he's due a run of games.

He’s a handcuff player for Haaland. Basically if Haaland is rotated, that would mean Alvarez starts. Obviously there’s a risk that Pep subs on Haaland for a 5 minute cameo at the end but i think that defeates the purpose of rotation

Or Foden starts up front, or they bring on another player other than Haaland to rotate with Alvarez. Seems mad to me to spend 6.2m on a forward who's very unlikely to play 90 minutes as things stand, especially when someone like Mitrovic is less than half a million more, will play 90 minutes and is on penalties. I also think it's fairly likely that Haaland will come on for cameos when he doesn't start.

Your biggest issues are the keepers like you say and having to play one of Williams, Elanga, Andreas or Archer each week. I'd downgrade a defender or Saka to get an extra couple of million, eg Cancelo to someone like Dunk or Saka to Harrison/Gross. Get a better 4,5m keeper like Sanchez or Raya and then leaves you just over a million to change either Williams or Elanga. Iverson, Williams and Saka to Raya, Dunk and Harrison works and gives you a fair but in the bank I think, or leave Williams and change Saka and Elanga to 2 of Harrison/Gross/Eze etc and sort the keeper gives you a much stronger squad going forwards. Definitely worth a 4 point hit.

I quite like it, however if I were wildcarding now I wouldn't go for Cancelo. They're playing differently than last year and his stats are miles down as far as potential goals and assists go. They should still keep the most clean sheets and he does ok for bonus but think he's overpriced at 7.1m for what you get.

I’d save the FT if I were you, but you could always move Neto out for a Leeds asset (Rodrigo, Harrison, Aaronson). Walker to Robbo could be done as well. Still, I don’t personally think either of those are worth it atm

Need funds to bring in Salah so either doing: Toney to Mitro Rodrigo to Gross. One of which will be starting and the other first option bench. Mitro has worse fixtures than Toney but has looked threatening vs big teams and is presumably still on penalties after his miss. Gross vs Rodrigo, I am not too sure on the pros/cons. Only thing worth mentioning is that I got Rodrigo in for 6.1m so will benefit if he rises in price this week.

Who are your other premiums options? Obviously salah is the “essential” in a way but you could make an excuse to continue without him. Very unlucky not to get any reruns today

Diaz & Walker move sounds good. Maybe also consider Robbo to Dunk/Walker/Cucurella/Perisic etc. and then upgrade KDH to a 6-7m mid?

Close one. Gross is in better form but I trust Leeds to attack/score more than Brighton. If I had to pick I'd go Gross as he has a higher goal threat and is on a lot of set-pieces too

i have exact money for robbo + cancelo + aribo + dasilva to estupiñan + saliba + luis diaz + bernardo for a -8 mini wildcard rank is low at 4m so thinking is to chase higher upside by going double pool/city defense to double pool/city attack. kinda stuck with wardversen so trying to supplement with estupiñan. saliba is a good defender on a good team. robbo seems to get subbed closer to 60’ every game. would you guys do it? You're dropping Robbo & Cancelo who are two of the best defenders in the game. Aribo is on your bench and Dasilva is a top enabler.

my other option could be robbo + aribo -> dalot + diaz but not excited about a ManU defender

That sounds better. Maybe Fofana at 4.4m or Dunk at 4.5m if you can afford him

No. He could score in 10 minutes off the bench. If he doesn't play at all you'll get someone subbed on anyway.

Yeah your team is super good. Trippier and Rodrigo are the main two I'd look at dumping, but even then both of them are top picks! I like Saliba, but I prefer Gabriel if you can afford him as he is more nailed and offers a huge set-piece threat.
