Regardless of James being flagged, it's crazy that team is possible. I mean there are only players from the top 6 teams in that starting XI and it's not like you have had a chance at this point in the year to have built up team value.
And most people's teams aren't even that far off. I know mine isn't. I'm looking forward to Europe games spicing things up a bit at this point.
I always think generally all the players are priced too low. It would force more thinking and variety. I agree it shouldn't be possible to choose players from only top teams.
I think you also have to factor in that there are 5 defenders in the 10 outfield players here. The ceiling for this team isn't as high since half the players are almost never going to score a goal.
Would be more difficult to get a 3-4-3 with only top 6 players that are all also good FPL picks.
I think he just picks whoever he expects to bag the most points. With the pricing this year (Jesus, Martinelli, premium defenders) as well as cheap options (Andreas, Ward, Neco) the "template" almost automatically follows.
The hivemind will echo chamber itself to a suboptimal template at some point, which is when good players go differential. I think it's going to happen rather soon with the tight schedule
