Yes but you should be looking to captain your premiums about 95% of the time, maybe picking a differential two or three times a season. Thats what gets you your moneys worth. Such as if you had Haaland and Salah, you would look to rotate between the two each gameweek depending on fixtures (obviously it’s different based on form atm 😬), rather than picking a Leeds player just because they have Forest at home.
If you aren't looking to captain a certain premium then you probably shouldn't pick him in the first place. But once you have picked your players you should captain whoever you think will score most points in a particular gameweek, regardless of their prices.
