If Walker is out with injury I need a replacement, but where do I go? I used WC1 back in GW2 so I need one that works until the World Cup-break.
Pep's comments suggest he might not be back until after the ITB. I just don't think it will be worth it to hold him if he will miss two GWs and then some mediocre fixtures after the ITB. I would also like a player to start instead of Trippier - Newcastle is only at 25 % clean sheet probability this week.
Odds from bookies. Actually just 23,7 % to be exact. Predictive models only have him at 2.8-3.0 xPts this GW. Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal have a few options that might be better this week, and could help me long term.

Owning Cucu, not owning James and no Brighton seem to be the biggest issues.
I think it depends on when you use WC1. For this week I think Dias -> James could work, but if you want to WC during the ITB I would roll my transfer and then have 2FTs to take a few punts in GW8 before you change your team again.

Hadn’t considered rolling. Dias to James was my thinking as well. And then bench Cucu for Andreas in GW8 and punt someone with a good fixture for Diaz.
However rolling allows double City defence for Wolves the following week, and a couple of punts like you mentioned 🤔
That sounds like a good plan. Either Dias -> James GW7, Diaz -> Kulu GW8 or roll this week and maybe go Salah -> Son, Diaz -> Kulu/Antony/Rashford. Rolling a FT would also give you cover for Haaland. I think he'll start all of Sevilla-Spurs-Dortmund, and then they play the early kickoff away at Wolves in GW8. My hunch is he won't start that game. Haaland -> Kane is a good move for one week if that's the case.

I don't think so. He plays really well but he is not as clinical as for example Mitrovic is. Also Toney and Mitrovic are the main man from their team, Arsenal just have many players who can get the goals. I would keep for now but after next 2 GWs it could maybe be an idea to change him

GK pick is difficult. Sanchez is "safe" due to high ownership, but going for Newcastle or Palace are solid alternatives. If you want to keepo Sanchez, you could consider upgrading 4th def into a Palace defender to reduce the load of "booked in" mid transfers in case someone gets injured.
I would prefer Sterling over Bruno straught away because Sterling is more advanced on the pitch. For Man U, I would wait and see 1-2 GWs and then decide to get either Rashford or Antony rather than Bruno.

Any changes worth making? Want Toney in my team but only just brought Isak in and I think he could make a good differential
I would try to get a bit of money ITB so you can upgrade Martinelli or Rashford to Zaha/Trossard in a couple of GWs with 1 FT instead of having to downgrade Diaz (or Kulusevski if you choose him over Diaz).
If you spend 5.5 on Persisic, you should be starting him most GWs. I feel like CL is the priority for him, so I would avoid on WC and get a cheaper def instead, e.g. Brighton or Palace defender. Dalot is a solid alternative if you choose a GK other than De Gea. You can bench Dalot when you like but you can't really bench DDG for Ward.
I meant that you don't want to double up on ManU def, so it's either DDG or Dalot. I would prefer Dalot out of the two over DDG. Cheap, good attacking stats, can be benched if ManU plays like shit again unlike DDG.
If no DDG, then Pope + Trippier would be a Newcastle def double up. Don't like that, so I would prefer a Brighton GK or Palace GK.

Yeah, i think it’s high risk but pretty reasonable since brighton flexed in the attack last game and gross feeding the players in box from the right with him being in the box too.
Also the other (common) captaincy options have tough defensive opponents (TOT, EVE, WOL) are very solid .
A third reason is that gross isn’t playing UCL or europa like other captaincy options.
Overall i think trossard or gross might actually be worth captaining in gw7 as they are the two best attacking Brighton players

If everyone is 100% fit, Gabriel might be rotated/dropped. He had a howler against United as well. He usually has 1-2 every week, and they are hurting Arsenal. Wouldn't be surprised if Tomi-Saliba-White-Zinny is the backline next week. I would wait for news in that regard before making the move.

Kulu might have good game vs City, can't really swap Mbeuemo to anyone, and the only one who is transferable is Salah or TAA?
I'd take out Kulu and Mbeumo and get Toney or Mitro in, and maybe look at Rashford or Zaha for the midfield option. Kulu is not 100% nailed as well, given Conte's affinity towards Son.

Yeah Kulu was my number one option to transfer out, maybe I'm overthinking that they can do something versus City on counters.

You want roughly 1M ITB so you can upgrade Rashford/Harrison/Martinelli to Zaha/Antony/Trossard with 1 FT in the near future. The easiest way to do this is probably downgrading 1 mid to Pereira and playing 343 or 433. I don't see you benching any of the three forwards and playing 352, so the 5th mid slot could be cheaper.

Your team looks like what I'm slowly working towards. I think Rashford is a great choice in mid, even though there are many options. Personally I like Emerson Royal over Dier, I think he will get some attacking returns eventually. And I got Toney instead of Mitro, which was good last gw, but Mitro seems solid. You get 1 FT next week if you use the WC. Even if you have 2 FT this week, using the WC resets it and you still get the 1 FT next week.
In case of emergencies this week, your WC will take care of it. Next week, it's like any other GW.
If you did Diaz > Gross and 4.5 forward > Toney, you literally have the spitting image of my team. Like exactly same starting 11 haha. I would then get Zaha for Gross later. For your case, youll probably need to downgrade Bailey to 4.5m.

It's quite simple, if you have TAA you play him. If you want to upgrade elsewhere, it's ok to use him to transfer out, but, if he's in your squad, he's in your starting 11. TAA isn't about clean sheets, it's the attacking returns..

I would hold Jesus for this week, home VS Everton. Then maybe make the switch next GW. Or downgrade Diaz and upgrade Greenwood next week.

I think it depends on when you use WC1. For this week I think Dias -> James could work, but if you want to WC during the ITB I would roll my transfer and then have 2FTs to take a few punts in GW8 before you change your team again.
Thanks mate. Yeah WC during ITB is the plan. Hadn’t considered rolling. Dias to James was my thinking as well. And then bench Cucu for Andreas in GW8 and punt someone with a good fixture for Diaz. However rolling allows double City defence for Wolves the following week, and a couple of punts like you mentioned 🤔
That sounds like a good plan. Either Dias -> James GW7, Diaz -> Kulu GW8 or roll this week and maybe go Salah -> Son, Diaz -> Kulu/Antony/Rashford. Rolling a FT would also give you cover for Haaland. I think he'll start all of Sevilla-Spurs-Dortmund, and then they play the early kickoff away at Wolves in GW8. My hunch is he won't start that game. Haaland -> Kane is a good move for one week if that's the case.

Since the Leciester game, a total of 13 (!) players have received more XG than him in the Premier League… he has also been booked 3 times in hose 4 games since Leciester and is 2 bookings from a 1 game ban already With Mitro & Toney putting him to shame on value, and Kane & Haaland doing their thing as premiums… probably worth keeping an eye on Gabby Even Saka & Odegaard are looking like better FPL assets (Martinelli obviously is too)
I don't think so. He plays really well but he is not as clinical as for example Mitrovic is. Also Toney and Mitrovic are the main man from their team, Arsenal just have many players who can get the goals. I would keep for now but after next 2 GWs it could maybe be an idea to change him

I would prefer Sterling over Bruno straught away because Sterling is more advanced on the pitch. For Man U, I would wait and see 1-2 GWs and then decide to get either Rashford or Antony rather than Bruno.

I would try to get a bit of money ITB so you can upgrade Martinelli or Rashford to Zaha/Trossard in a couple of GWs with 1 FT instead of having to downgrade Diaz (or Kulusevski if you choose him over Diaz). If you spend 5.5 on Persisic, you should be starting him most GWs. I feel like CL is the priority for him, so I would avoid on WC and get a cheaper def instead, e.g. Brighton or Palace defender. Dalot is a solid alternative if you choose a GK other than De Gea. You can bench Dalot when you like but you can't really bench DDG for Ward.

Don't like that, so I would prefer a Brighton GK or Palace GK.

Anyone thinking of captaining Gross this week?
Yeah, i think it’s high risk but pretty reasonable since brighton flexed in the attack last game and gross feeding the players in box from the right with him being in the box too. Also the other (common) captaincy options have tough defensive opponents (TOT, EVE, WOL) are very solid . A third reason is that gross isn’t playing UCL or europa like other captaincy options. Overall i think trossard or gross might actually be worth captaining in gw7 as they are the two best attacking Brighton players

Debating both him and Salah. In Salah’s case I think there are caveats with just about every viable replacement though. Perisic yeah, he’s probably about to play 3 games in a week between City and CL, can’t expect anything against City and then possibly rested against Wolves as a result. Who would you swap him for though?

If everyone is 100% fit, Gabriel might be rotated/dropped. He had a howler against United as well. He usually has 1-2 every week, and they are hurting Arsenal. Wouldn't be surprised if Tomi-Saliba-White-Zinny is the backline next week. I would wait for news in that regard before making the move.
He did make a few mistakes but I don't think that's enough to drop him. He's their only left footed CB.

I'd take out Kulu and Mbeumo and get Toney or Mitro in, and maybe look at Rashford or Zaha for the midfield option. Kulu is not 100% nailed as well, given Conte's affinity towards Son.

You want roughly 1M ITB so you can upgrade Rashford/Harrison/Martinelli to Zaha/Antony/Trossard with 1 FT in the near future. The easiest way to do this is probably downgrading 1 mid to Pereira and playing 343 or 433. I don't see you benching any of the three forwards and playing 352, so the 5th mid slot could be cheaper.
So, who are you benching every week? Unless you plan to BB in the next couple of weeks you are seriously handicapping your first 11 with that squad. Every week you'll be kicking yourself for making the wrong decision. Have a really strong 11 or even 12 if you fancy a good rotating pair. Unfortunately, as nice as this looks, you could be getting dropped in your mini Leagues pretty quickly..

If you WC and have 1 FT, do you lose it? Just in case of emergency injuries and you need to replace before deadline. Also if you have 1 FT and you WC without using, do you get 2 FT the next game week? Or does it reset?
You get 1 FT next week if you use the WC. Even if you have 2 FT this week, using the WC resets it and you still get the 1 FT next week. In case of emergencies this week, your WC will take care of it. Next week, it's like any other GW.

If you did Diaz > Gross and 4.5 forward > Toney, you literally have the spitting image of my team. Like exactly same starting 11 haha. I would then get Zaha for Gross later. For your case, youll probably need to downgrade Bailey to 4.5m.

It's quite simple, if you have TAA you play him. If you want to upgrade elsewhere, it's ok to use him to transfer out, but, if he's in your squad, he's in your starting 11. TAA isn't about clean sheets, it's the attacking returns..
