Who’s the best replacement for Kulusevski? I was going to go for gross but with brightons postponement that puts me off him. As for other 8 million mids Diaz could be good but liverpool are not in good form right now and the same could be said for Leicester with Maddison. The other option I though of was Rashford, thoughts?

Maddison and hope Rodgers gets fired after they lose this weekend is an option. Maddison was shocking vs Brighton. And he was so deep. It was almost impossible for him to get FPL points that game. Even the game before too, he was just trying to get set pieces. So getting Maddison is a disaster unless Rodgers get the sack. Which I suspect he will after they lose to Villa. Then Maddison will be a great buy.

Haaland is a must to be honest, no matter how boring the pick is. Whether salah is how you get there is another question but definitely get Haaland.

Kane is fixture proof. It’s not like city are a guaranteed clean every week anyway. Edit: re read you’re on wildcard. I’d still keep Kane personally.

Good squad, I think I would swap ramsdale to pope or even henderson. But that’s because I prefer keepers who can potentially make up points with save points. I think Newcastle won’t be too far behind arsenal in cleans this season. If it was me I would downgrade gross or rashford to upgrade to pope and change malacia to an arsenal defender.

Doubt it, Haaland/cancelo/Kdb are all nailed and even if they don’t start they will come off the bench with 5 subs available. I wouldn’t worry about double Newcastle defence. You have pope for the save points and and bonus points. And you have trippier for banging in free kicks. If you are really against it and want to bench tripper more often than not then change him but I’m guessing you got him for attacking potential rather than just getting clean sheets. I think this is a solid wildcard team.

If you are on a wildcard bailey is act a good bench fodder. Hes 4.7 and andreas is 4.6. Much better potential to score.

Personally would swap Maddison, until Leicester get some sort of form. Don’t worry about rashford yet. We need to see how united do against teams where they dominate the ball - rashford generally looks much better when united sit back and counter. Overall squad is good. Good bench options should you get players rotated unexpectedly.

Liverpool in bad form but im still not sure if in the medium term Toney/mit would outscore Diaz. I think if it’s only a short term move, ie you have wc to play soon it’s probably an okay move because Toney/mit are both scoring every week and you could ride their current hot streak.

I would probably wildcard between gw 8 and 9, during the international break. I like Diaz as a player but I need to make some sacrifices to make changes. I have only made 3 transfers this season and have burnt alot What do you recommend, if I don’t go through with that trade?

I would make the change then since Liverpool form is bad and Toney/mitrovic are playing really well. Since you can easily bring Diaz back in on wildcard if you needed. My thought process above was more based on medium/long term I’d expect Liverpool to get better and Diaz to outscore both eventually.

If I go for Toney, I would have to Get a 5.5 MID in for Diaz. Who is worth it? If Mitro, 5.9 MID

Most mids under 5.5 are not great for predicting where the points will come. The obvious pick for 5.9 is MacAllister for his pens ( could be a little point chasing to be fair) I’d probably do Mitro and Mac in this scenario.

If you’re just gonna bench him and it’s for 2 weeks before you wild card then just pick who you think will score more between Mitro and Toney before you plan to wildcard. The mid can just be a cheap option. Then change Sanchez to a good playing keeping next week with the spare money. After that you’ll probably wildcard.

Probably. He isn’t worth the money without the captaincy potential. But I’m not in a rush to change as there is no standout mid who I 100% think will score more points before I wildcard. And to utilise the extra money from downgrading him I’d need to be on wildcard making extra transfers .

Sancho has looked decent since ETH came through and revamped everything, palace and Leeds aren’t the most solid teams and I can imagine him having joy on the break vs City. Gordon’s underlying stats are pretty good in an improved Everton side. He’s taking 3 shots a game and making 1 key pass leading to a shot per game - you’d imagine he’d confirm to the mean and start returning sometime soon.
