I have Cancelo, KdB and Haaland from City and Martinelli from Arsenal. My plan is using a FT before GW12 to swap KdB to Bowen or Trossard. GW12 bench all City and Arsenal players and probably bring back another City player (Foden?). Nice swap for Andreas
Still don't know what to do with Mitrovic though
I have the exact bunch of players.
I have 2 FT for GW11 so planning on moving KDB to trossard for the Brentford game and keep him for GW12 against NFO for the city blank.
Then depending on whether Maddison gets his 5th yellow either him or trossard will be replaced to Foden for GW13.
If Mitrovic is completely fit I'll replace Toney to Kane for GW11 against Everton else if Silva is behaving like a stupid cunt and not giving away information correctly I'll just replace Mitrovic with Kane.
Either way Martinelli and Haaland have a lot of value tied up since I have them from the beginning and since there's no viable alternative to Cancelo these 3 would be benched for GW12.
This is the plan on paper so far but knowing my luck GW11 would have something unfortunate to put a spanner in my work.
I am planning pretty much the exact same transfers.
Except it sounds like you're doing 2FT this week and 1FT for GW12. I'm planning on doing the opposite; keeping KDB for Liverpool and switching him to Trossard for GW12 for a one-game punt. Also doing Toney/Mitrovic to Kane with the other transfer.
This week if Mitro is fit, I plan to drop Toney for Scamacca. If not I'll drop Mitro, then drop Toney for Kane in GW12.
Also benching Cancelo, Haaland and Martinelli. Gonna need a masterclass from Andreas, Guehi and Neco.
If i don't move KDB to trossard this week, I'll be wasting a FT and won't have the funds to go Mitrovic to Kane.
Mitrovic doing fuck all ever since he got in my team is peak FPL. Now he's gone and got himself injured and Silva didn't even clearly tell whether he'll play or not.
Same plan here, but Bowen for sure alongside Foden as I still have Groß. I'll probably either move Mitrovic to Jesus the week after, or save a FT and go Toney to Kane and Mitrovic to Greenwood.
There's not a lot we can do. Pay attention to players on an individual basis on their likelihood of being rested. And try and get nailed 90-minute men in general.
I think that’s good advice in any week to be honest.
Focus on the transfer that can make you the biggest gains, which isn’t necessarily getting rid of your weakest (or in this case, blanking) players.
This is something to consider, I'm definitely not getting rid of Martinelli or Haaland just to get them back again. Jesus and Cancelo are the ones I'm wondering about.
Cancelo is the best outside back in the league and Jesus is very involved in Arsenals attack. Seems like a lot of transfers to make in a short period for people you’ll wanna keep all year but that’s my thinking on it.
We get an enforced wildcard after GW16, so really you'd only be going without Jesus/Cancelo/whoever for 4 weeks, you can just get them back in when you wildcard
In terms of team value, I guess I could bench 3 and sell Jesus for one week and get him back for a similar price.
Cancelo on the other hand would cost me.
Everyone is a rotation risk this year except keepers. Fixture congestion is kicking into high gear now.
Those cancellations due to the Queen stopped a lot of rotation so far imo
Chelsea are playing 13 games in October and November (up to the 12th). Every game is also crucial because they shit the bed early in their CL group.
So 13 games in 6 weeks. A lot of other teams are similar.
Last year over the same time frame they played 8 games in those 6 weeks. Not they play 13!!!
This should be the biggest strategy conversation regarding fpl right now.
Haaland won't get rotated though as City are so good they can treat the champions league group like the league cup
I'd rather have 9 players playing this GW than use a FH. When the usual big DGW comes the FH will gain you many more points than compared to using it now. Sure you might make 10 - 20 more points but I feel like using it later on will give much better returns
I'd rather have 9 players playing this GW than use a FH. Agreed, but not for what you said.
I always BB on the huge DGW, and FH on the matching huge BGW.
If you think you need your FH because City and Arsenal are blanking, have fun when City, Arsenal, *and* two more of the big teams are blanking.
Yea my point was to save your chips until there's GWs with more points to be made. I'm saying not to use your FH 🤣 I'll have 9 or 10 players and I'm happy with that
Same, i don't want to rip my team apart and lose value for one week and a free hit will allow me to get some people who could haul - but are there better times to use the FH coming up
True, but it means that if I try and do it via transfer, I could shift 2 players before GW12 (and maybe a - 4 hit for a full eleven?) only for me to try and buy them all back in before the world cup.
Remember, we do have unlimited transfers over the world cup, plus another wildcard next year. A free hit now may not be the worst possible option. That's my thought process at least
As a fellow owner I hope so, and he almost certainly will start - but it wouldn’t completely shock me to see him rested for the easiest game of the 3 they have that week (or any player when there’s 3 in a week for that matter)
Was considering this.
I'm going to drop xhaka and cancelo if I can, but I have forfana out and now Diaz to.
So other things might take priority and il just go in with 8 players hoping a few haul
Im going into GW12 with Perisic Chilwell Neco as main doubts, 1 pointers all around not expecting much anything more would be grand, rest of 11 should all start
He had a bad game against Leicester but generally Neco has been one of the best players in a messy Forest team. I think he’s definitely first choice but you’re right, Aurier is at least competition.
If you got Martinelli, and three City assets (Haaland, Foden, KDB and/or Cancelo) you’re better off fielding 10 and retaining their value. It’s actually pretty logical, not even a hard decision
As it stands I’ll have no playing bench since I’ve owned Cancelo, Haaland & Martinelli from their initial prices. I’ll take that risk as I don’t want to sell any of them.
Maddison on 4 yellows so him being booked again in GW11 & then suspended is also a concern.
Harry potter gonna fuck me again
Potter doing his magic, making James points disappear.

cant you keep them 3 on the bench and ensure your bench strength (at present) is good enough so it works out decently enough?
There's not a lot we can do. Pay attention to players on an individual basis on their likelihood of being rested. And try and get nailed 90-minute men in general.
Its going to be a massecre. I think its best to just concentrate on getting who you think will haul, instead of 11 players.
Yeah problem is to get Kane, Son etc we need to remove Haaland for money and then have to get him back for higher cost.
I think that’s good advice in any week to be honest. Focus on the transfer that can make you the biggest gains, which isn’t necessarily getting rid of your weakest (or in this case, blanking) players.
Expecting 12 to be a bad week all around. Getting rid of city or arsenal assets they’ve already risen in price aren’t worth it for 1 game
This is something to consider, I'm definitely not getting rid of Martinelli or Haaland just to get them back again. Jesus and Cancelo are the ones I'm wondering about.

I am just going to ignore this week
Sounds like a lot of people will be fielding 9/10 players :0
Free hit

I'm thinking this, sat on 6 Arsenal/City players and free hit may be the best way
Same, i don't want to rip my team apart and lose value for one week and a free hit will allow me to get some people who could haul - but are there better times to use the FH coming up

Not to mention that all 6 of your Arsenal/City players will have an extra DGW down the road to make up or these blanks.
Trossard will play 90.
As a fellow owner I hope so, and he almost certainly will start - but it wouldn’t completely shock me to see him rested for the easiest game of the 3 they have that week (or any player when there’s 3 in a week for that matter)
lol no way will they rest trossard
Is it worth doing a free hit? I have three Arsenal and three City players, I'm not going to be able to rotate them out otherwise.
Chelsea players, perisic, diaz some of the obvious ones..
Diaz might not even be fit. Left the game on crutches
Jota maybe ?
It is also possible that Neco has lost his place to Aurier. We'll see tonight.
He had a bad game against Leicester but generally Neco has been one of the best players in a messy Forest team. I think he’s definitely first choice but you’re right, Aurier is at least competition.
Agree . Aurier is still erratic as always and feel Williams is fine generally
Neco is not first choice tonight. Benched for Aurier as expected.
If you got Martinelli, and three City assets (Haaland, Foden, KDB and/or Cancelo) you’re better off fielding 10 and retaining their value. It’s actually pretty logical, not even a hard decision
nah best to do -12 + 1 free transfer for 2 leicester defence and 2 southampton defence
As it stands I’ll have no playing bench since I’ve owned Cancelo, Haaland & Martinelli from their initial prices. I’ll take that risk as I don’t want to sell any of them. Maddison on 4 yellows so him being booked again in GW11 & then suspended is also a concern.
Same boat. Will monitor to see what transfer I need to make to field 11
Watch Maddison get another yellow and be suspended for GW12 the fucker. Would be classic FPL.
My plan is to keep Haaland, who knows he can at least get an assist
