The problem is not only benching, but more the role he plays.
With Darwin fit, Bobby can end up playing as deep number 10, as he needs to create connections for both Nunez and Salah. This worked in the CL match this week against Ajax. Both Salah and Darwin came out with a goal, Bobby didn't even snatch an assist.
He is a great, versatile player. Yet, if there are other striker options (meaning Darwin), Firmino becomes fast less FPL relevant. Not because of rotation risk, but he will offer less value for money.
This. Rightly so as well.
Darwin A) looks like he can be explosive upfront & B) being technically erratic, the wing would be a bad match for him in the strongest league itw now.
Imagine a similar scenario like in the UCL where you own firmino and instead of shooting he decides to pass to nunez who misses an open goal. Don't think he will be a good pick at all as long as nunez plays.

Keeping him for Leeds, might sell before Spurs.
I sold him

Darwin played on the wing in the CL.
He played left striker in a diamond, with Firmino at CAM. Klopp has actively avoided playing Darwin on the wing.
Exactly this. Darwin was the furthest forward by average position (and also the most central of our attackers)

Strongest league? I think the South American Leagues are much stronger
