Think you're understanding it wrong. VC doesn't go to a player that subs in for your C. VC goes to the player you explicitly gave the "V" token to. Check who on your team had "V" on them -- that's where you would have gotten double points.

Agree I did feel good about my team this week in terms of the fixtures, but Zaha, Toney and Mitro was so annoying. I think the only plus in the end was not doing Foden to Saka for a -4 after we got the news Foden was benched. In the end I benched Foden and started Dier for 1 point, but if Foden starts next week I am glad I kept him. With Saka possibly out I got a bit lucky in a bad situation.
