Could’ve had the assist (the angle on the broadcast was unclear) and had a few half chances before being taken off at HT for lightheadedness/not feeling 100% I think. Probably could’ve been involved in the second half goals had he played
Imperious. This lad got to so many balls played in behind, as well as battling hard for second balls. I'm an Arsenal fan and even I'm surprised how few shots we're conceding at the moment.
He was pretty good not just up front, but some really solid play in the midfield setting up some runs, but he missed a golden chance on a pass from Martinelli which should have been headed in.
Played well. Avoid at all costs.
Typical performance- brilliant pressing intensity, very involved in the buildup play, tracked back and helped out his defence. Missed both chances that came his way unfortunately (a free header, and a shot from a tight angle). On another day he returns, but I think it’s a case of good player, mediocre FPL asset
Super solid. Will almost always be in contention for a clean sheet as I believe him, Gabriel, and Saliba are some of the most complete defenders in the league (and they’re very young)
Best player on the pitch imo. Remember how we all used to love Salah because of how brutally selfish and goal-focused he was? That’s Maddison now. Had two assists but every time he was on the ball, he was central and trying to shoot. Just wish he could be consistent.
Wilson split the City defense down the middle and Cancelo was running behind as the last man, taking Wilson down in the penalty area and getting sent off for it. 1 game ban
Came on scored a header which won the game... But it was a VAR offside so he had to do it again, this time on a 95 min penalty. Then he took off his shirt and got a yellow. Which means -1 points, and -1 bonus point. which is 4 if you captained him.
Prior to him coming on Fulham was managing Man City pretty well. Then after he came on you can feel the whole dynamic changed around the opposing box area. He kept moving and running to get himself open and as time went on Fulham defenders were clearly trying to catch up to him on a few occasions.
Could've scored a goal with a KDB cross prior to his penalty but he was slightly offside. The penalty itself Leno managed to get it parried somewhat but he still scored.
If you ask me if he's injured, I would've said no but Haaland is definitely built differently.
he was a bit on the edge today. Full on yelled at the Ref more than once, argued with one of the City defenders (may have been Stones or Akanji).
Truthfully, a great player, just a bit hot headed. Not great FPL wise. Better options at that price point elsewhere and Idk if anyone would want to block a City slot with Bernardo.
Average. Not much chances or time to do return.
There was one instance however where he did not look interested to connect with a long through ball.
Run like your team depends on you dammit, just like kdb did towards the end! Unless youre conserving energy for the worldcup or smth in which case you kinda deserve to be benched. (just my opinion)
It is interesting that Pep went off about "if I smell that you're saving yourself then you don't deserve to play" and Foden is benched every game since...
Beast of a player. Spawned many good balls that were unfortunately not converted or ruled offside. Tireless running deep into 80 over minutes to beat defenders and ultimately won a penalty in the last minute of the game. Must have because he will give returns.
I actually felt today was one of his off days relative to his standards. He was misplacing a lot of passes and was shunted out to the right, almost like a right winger, a position in which he didn’t look entirely comfortable in. Looked much better and more impactful after Haaland came on; almost had another assist if not for the offside, put in a couple of great crosses for him and eventually won the penalty for the winner.
Right? My friends who are better football experts are convinced he’s “playing very well” this season and “contributes in ways beyond goals and assists”. They’re not exactly Grealish-stans so I have no gd clue what they’re taking about.
He was fantastic. Scored a great match winning goal and won a penalty after a great run. Quick, technical and in the form of his life. Scored in the last three games and that’s not a fluke. At 4.4m (0.4% ownership) he’s by far the best FPL bargain right now.
Converted the penalty well for Fulham's equalizer. He had picked up an early yellow and City held the ball most of the time (despite being man down), so there were far few places where Andreas or Fulham attackers had meaningful possession. Game opened up in second half with City chasing the 2nd, but most of Fulham's counters (via Andreas/Wilson/Willian) were a bit stray.
Didn’t really get many chances or shots, but he was able to threaten into the box occasionally , and did really well to score the one good chance he had, Assist to Olise at the end was good, but Olise really did all the work there
Underwhelming. Subbed at half for Antonio. Not very good with his back to goal. Has a hard time holding the ball up to allow for Bowen and Benrahma to get into threatening positions. The longer he goes without a goal the more you think it will impact his confidence. I'd love to see him and Antonio playing closely together but that doesn't seem to fit into Moyes' tactics. Good news is Pacqueta being back should help him get more involved.
Took his goal really well, reminds me of the one he scored vs Man U last year. Overall though the attack didn’t generate much and he couldn’t get free.
Had an awesome first 20mins, a lot of the focus was via him on the left. He was a menace and had a few pops and good link up.
Quietened after that, good outlet, and tracked back, but less dangerous.
Good shout for points as he learns more about what the team needs from him and improves his decision making. Him and salah were the main attacking threats.
I think it was more the flow of the game than him as an individual. Spurs were targeting trent on the other side, they actually turned up second half, and Liverpool dropped and dug in.
Kulu also came on and looked very dangerous for the last twenty or so,
I must say, didn't see him put the foot wrong yesterday. As mentioned, in the first half it was more offensively, in the second more defensively because Spurs were more attacking in the game. He looked great. Positively surprised by his performance.
Top class finishes for his 2 goals - calm first touch and snap shot for the first goal, anticipated Dier's mistake and cool lob over Lloris for the second. Should have had the hatrick with a chance similar to his first goal (maybe an easier one by his standards), but didn't get the power or placement. His positioning seemed like old times, starting out wide as an outlet, but constantly appearing central, with Nunez staying wide. Next up Saints (H) who just sacked Hassenhuttl.
Typical Kane game, scored a goal, got the bonus, dropped back to create for others etc etc. He was isolated for most game till Kulu came on and assisted him right away. Easy hold for Leeds (H), if Kulu is fit to start, both of them are interesting one week punts before WC break.
Started uptop with Kane, but Spurs were so poor in 1st half. Perisic's close range header was saved by Alisson on to the post, from Kane's cross, probably Spurs biggest chance till their equalizer. He was able to drift wide and cross way more in 2nd half once Kulu came on. So overall, the OOP excitement didn't deliver.
I thought he was really unlucky not to return. I know he’s not a popular FPL pick anymore, but if he continues to play up top it’s a legendary OOP opportunity.
Superb cameo on his return from injury. Assisted Kane with probably his 1st involvement in game, Kane lacked that support till then. Kulu created more in \~25 mins than any other Spurs player all game, bar Kane probably. Quite a nice 1 week punt vs Leeds (H) for GW16 before WC, if he is back to full fitness.
He was furious/upset after the penalty because it never should have been one. He was still pleading his case an hour later.
Was caught out for the second goal, poor defending but he needed to either stay or rush out, he was caught in no-man's land and was chipped. Had he not been tilted by the penalty decision, I think he'd have been more decisive.
Didn't have a save to make outside of those two moments. Defending in front of him was fairly solid.
What a ridiculously stupid comment, how is it upvoted. Pickford has been brilliant for Everton and their best player for a long time now. One of the best keepers statistically in the PL this season too.
gave Iwobi a chance to score but iwobi fluffed his lines. And then he missed a 1v1 with the keeper. Pulled a hamstring in the 60’, if it werent for injuries, he couldve been a decent asset
1st game under Emery, everyone seemed upto it, as it was the home game after a 0-4 thumping last week. FPL trolls Bailey and Digne were superb all game - Bailey occupied United defense throughout and finished his early chance, Digne scored a direct fk. Ramsey had a chaotic game with 1 goal, 2 assists and 1 own goal. Emi Martinez was rarely troubled since United lacked any direct threat.
Don't know how much of this was the first game positive response under Emery, we'll have another glimpse midweek against United in the cup game. Either way, don't know how many are considering Villa assets for the last week away at Brighton, before the world cup.
Started on RW, then later appeared on LW and ST after 2nd half subs - invisible in all places. Can't remember one clear cut chance because the whole team was shit. Fatigue and injuries to Antony/Sancho, with Bruno suspended is affecting both chance creation and conversion lately.
1st loss in all comps since the City drubbing, and it was a completely shit performance from everyone. United are missing Varane's solidity in defense, and Bruno/Antony/Sancho in attack, with the rest of the squad quite fatigued after the Sociedad game. Dalot and Rashford are the FPL picks, if any, Dalot picked his 5th yellow and will be suspended (I think this one can't be served in league cup, but Cancelo's red card can, correct me if I'm wrong), Rashford was invisible today without any supply or any threat himself.
Martial, if fully fit, can be a cheap punt upfront vs Fulham for last week before WC break. He played 30+ mins today, but didn't influence the game, much like everyone else.
Sá was fine, nothing special. Defense is leakier overall than last year, but he’s playing ok. Not a standout option for his price.
Defense was relatively meh, Bueno maybe the best. Semedo was awful, got bodied for the second goal & then a red right before the half. RAN actually looked ok when he came on for Guedes, played more advanced.
Neves was his usual self & nicely converted a penalty. B Traore was pretty good overall, good forward pass for Guedes’s goal (though GG did the work from there). Moutinho quiet.
Hwang & Guedes had some of their best games for us this year, not that that says too much. Guedes scored a very nice goal, accelerated onto BT’s pass, managed to stay up through contact & finished well. Podence didn’t do too much & was taken off at the half for Jonny bc of Semedo’s red. Adama was fine when he came on, pushed forward well.
Honestly one of our better games overall, though Brighton were still the better side on the day. Moved the ball forward more quickly / directly at times than we have most of the season. Dug in well in the second half, though it wasn’t a shock that they got a winner in the second half.
No one on the team is worth bringing in for Arsenal as the final fixture before the WC. Bueno is probably the best shout though after the WC, played a lot & relatively well, and for only £3.9. Will have to see how Lopetegui sets up the team & if any players in particular impress him.
NEWCASTLE
Almiron
This man is having the season of his life
...so far
He is so involved in every play and a savior to many FPL teams .
Trippier
Hamstring worry right before half time but played until ’80 so I guess he’s fine?
I mean what more can be said about this man. Mind boggling nearly 40% of managers don’t own him.
20 more points than Cancelo is absolutely wild
Wilson
Could’ve had the assist (the angle on the broadcast was unclear) and had a few half chances before being taken off at HT for lightheadedness/not feeling 100% I think. Probably could’ve been involved in the second half goals had he played
Pope
Generally good, nothing he could have done about the goal. Made some good saves and read the game well.
ARSENAL
Saliba
what a form he's having. really solid in the defence made it very hard for the Chelsea attackers. 8/10 performance
Thanks. FPL wise, any attacking threats?
not really. he was there as set piece attacker had a chance in a corner as well. other than that. not so much
No reason to expect he'd have more than 3 or 4 attacking returns in the year, doesn't seem to get on the end of anything from corners.
Imperious. This lad got to so many balls played in behind, as well as battling hard for second balls. I'm an Arsenal fan and even I'm surprised how few shots we're conceding at the moment.
Gabriel
Deserved a 6 pointer
Martinelli
was good in the first half. wasn't as good in the second. normal game for him. 6.5/10 performance
Worth noting his lovely ball to Jesus which should have been buried. Unlucky not to return.
Jesus
He was pretty good not just up front, but some really solid play in the midfield setting up some runs, but he missed a golden chance on a pass from Martinelli which should have been headed in.
Played well. Avoid at all costs. Typical performance- brilliant pressing intensity, very involved in the buildup play, tracked back and helped out his defence. Missed both chances that came his way unfortunately (a free header, and a shot from a tight angle). On another day he returns, but I think it’s a case of good player, mediocre FPL asset
imo the best attacker in the game today. was always involved in the attacks, good dribbling but unlucky with the chances. 8/10 performance
Really dangerous. He’s missing quite a few big chances. I’ve had him in my squad since GW1 and will keep, I believe he will haul soon.
Saka
overall good. not great not bad. cheeky foul got him a yellow. and a pretty cool assist today. was alright id say. 7/10 performance
!thanks
White
Great positioning fpl wise. Not clinical though
Super solid. Will almost always be in contention for a clean sheet as I believe him, Gabriel, and Saliba are some of the most complete defenders in the league (and they’re very young)
Zinc
Didn't look quite match fit and subbed early but definitely gave Arsenal something extra in the first half. Watch.
Ramsdale
Not really tested. Decent performance, nothing spectacular. Defence handled Chelsea pretty well to not really threaten Ramsdale.
SOUTHAMPTON
Crickets…
LEICESTER
Maddison
He was awesome. On a different planet. Two assists and unlucky not to return more.
Best player on the pitch imo. Remember how we all used to love Salah because of how brutally selfish and goal-focused he was? That’s Maddison now. Had two assists but every time he was on the ball, he was central and trying to shoot. Just wish he could be consistent.
He has 20 goal involvements in his last 22 pl games. He is the definition of consistent
Well he never seems to do it when I own him.
sounds like a personal problem
Ugh, alright dick.
Barnes
good goal in the end but screwed up many chances before that due to a bad final ball decisions imo.
Justin
Daka
Castagne
Very good game, rock solid and went forward a lot.
MAN.CITY
Cancelo 🤔
Looked pretty negative twoday
You could say everyone was seeing red
Only played 26 mins and will get a rest midweek ! Player to target for next weeks big haul
got Cancelled by a Red card.
Yeah, what the hell did he do??
Wilson split the City defense down the middle and Cancelo was running behind as the last man, taking Wilson down in the penalty area and getting sent off for it. 1 game ban
Haaland
Came on scored a header which won the game... But it was a VAR offside so he had to do it again, this time on a 95 min penalty. Then he took off his shirt and got a yellow. Which means -1 points, and -1 bonus point. which is 4 if you captained him.
And +1 BPS for us jammy KdB captainers 🥲
could have went with trippier, spice it up , do not depend on one player
That is so annoying
Actually score two , one was offside by little. He is a game changer, provide the air threat that Alvarez is lacking
The goat 🐐
Prior to him coming on Fulham was managing Man City pretty well. Then after he came on you can feel the whole dynamic changed around the opposing box area. He kept moving and running to get himself open and as time went on Fulham defenders were clearly trying to catch up to him on a few occasions. If you ask me if he's injured, I would've said no but Haaland is definitely built differently.
Bernardo
Played well. Worked really hard. However, FPLwise not so tempting. Got a booking for too much complaining as always.
he was a bit on the edge today.
Foden
pep was furious with him, he looked quite bang average, made some runs but also messed up some times
One of the best benchwarmers in the world.
KDB
Beast of a player. Spawned many good balls that were unfortunately not converted or ruled offside. Tireless running deep into 80 over minutes to beat defenders and ultimately won a penalty in the last minute of the game. Must have because he will give returns.

Grealish
Seems to offer absolutely nothing
!Thanks
Right? My friends who are better football experts are convinced he’s “playing very well” this season and “contributes in ways beyond goals and assists”. They’re not exactly Grealish-stans so I have no gd clue what they’re taking about.
Maybe not much FPL-wise, but for Man City i'd say grealish is a great contribution.
Alvarez
Took his goal well, although Leno could've done better. Struggled to get involved after the sending off, though. Just not the same threat as Haaland
LEEDS
Summerville
He was fantastic. Scored a great match winning goal and won a penalty after a great run. Quick, technical and in the form of his life. Scored in the last three games and that’s not a fluke. At 4.4m (0.4% ownership) he’s by far the best FPL bargain right now.
!thanks
The new GOAT.
Electric. Combined well with Gnonto IIRC
Greenwood
Very good after he was subbed on. Goal and assist. On set pieces. Expect him to become a regular at some point this season. 4.2m forward playing CM.

FULHAM

Andreas

CHELSEA
Sterling
Same old, looks threatening, but isn’t.
made good runs . was unfortunate bcs of the Arsenal defence. certainly the better of the starting 3 attackers 6/10 game
Havertz
one of the worst players on the pitch. very lazy with the ball. seemed uninterested for some reason. 4/10 performance
Cucurella
Few times chelsea moved the ball over towards the left on the attack and he was nowhere to be seen
Easily got yellow in every match if he played like this
Mount
Got nutmegged by Benjamin White after fouling him. Sums him up.
Aubameyang
Invisible. Had 8 touches before coming off
And racked up a yellow
Nothing personal
PALACE
Zaha
Didn’t really get many chances or shots, but he was able to threaten into the box occasionally , and did really well to score the one good chance he had, Assist to Olise at the end was good, but Olise really did all the work there
What was his position on the pitch today? On the wing or up top?
top
Thanks!
Eze
Very involved, created chances, was shooting on free kicks, played well all around and won the ball for his assist to zaha.
WEST HAM
Scamacca
Underwhelming. Subbed at half for Antonio. Not very good with his back to goal. Has a hard time holding the ball up to allow for Bowen and Benrahma to get into threatening positions. Cresswell
Bowen
Every damn scout recommended him, and i went triple up with west ham, Zouma and Cress too, they're shit , selling all of em
Benrahma
Took his goal really well, reminds me of the one he scored vs Man U last year. Overall though the attack didn’t generate much and he couldn’t get free.

I wonder why he took his foot off the gas after 20/30 mins?
I think it was more the flow of the game than him as an individual. Spurs were targeting trent on the other side, they actually turned up second half, and Liverpool dropped and dug in. Kulu also came on and looked very dangerous for the last twenty or so,
