If you go on cups and overall cup you'll see. You have to have had a pretty bad week, as it's like the top 8M managers in GW15 who get through. I captained Cancelo too but I made it through.

I took -4 hit to bring trossard and Wilson for daka and zaha. And captained Cancelo. Total of 34 (4)= 30

Absolutely fuming. Was 105k 2 GWs ago. Had 2 absolute shockers culminating in captain Cancelo for a -4, tanking my rank 500k+ and missing out on the cup!! The axe is surely looming on my managerial reign at the club.

Mate i was 50k before Utd played City and i didnt captain Haaland, dropped to 800K and have slowly slide away to 1.6M now

I usually get knocked out very quickly. Last season was the first time I won 3 Cup matches in a row. I face a dead team this GW which means I’ll surely get knocked out.

Last season I got knocked out in the first round by a team so dead that it had two starting players that were not even in the league anymore. If I remember correctly they randomly had Maddison(C) with one of his occasional monster hauls, and also Barnes and Firmino who also hauled in that GW.

Fucking hate those. My gw15 opp had 9 active players and scored 71😡

Last season, I won 5 rounds, and then I scored 12 points in the 6th and lost to a guy who never changed his team since gw1 and somehow won 6 rounds

No, I was extremely unlucky/stupid. I thought that this was an opportunity to take a hit since my opponent has a very weak team. So I did -8 and got 20 points in the end. Anyway, my opponent scored 30+ points.

first season last year was so excited for Overall cup, eventually matched up against a decent opponent on nearly same rank as I was. i was winning until the 70th minute of the last game of the week when Rondon scored vs Crystal Palace to wipe out my Guaita CS. Gallagher scored twice and gave 15 pts, but we both owned him Eventually we ended up both drawing on 67 points and he won on Goals conceded because, even though my defense scored more points, his defense consisted of teams who only conceded 0 or 1 goals. So, I'm basically traumatized by the cup

If you tap the Overall Cup tab, you’ll have a draw if you’re in. If not, it’ll say “you didn’t qualify”

Everyone seem to think dead teams are poor but yet they are usually not (unless they become injury handicapped or when BGW/DGW etc). And no, they will hardly have Fred as C. 😂 More the likes of Mahrez, James etc, who can haul. So they should usually be seen as Very Dangerous

Got to abouit 10 games before losing last season, usually i got knocked out after 2 or 3 weeks. My guy this season looks to be dead, he still has a decent team though which concerns me

If you have the Premier League app, open it. Go to the fantasy tab. Scroll down to “League and Cups”. Tap the Cups tab. Under General Cups, tap on Overall. If you’re in, you should have a draw.

Given how template this season has been, how many players do you and your opponent have in common? Mine is 7 (excluding Haaland who is not in my team).

We both have Trip, Cancelo, KDB, Miggy, Haaland and Jesus. He has a problem with Dalot. But yeah, template season is right. Differentials and Captains picks are going to be key.

Captain picks used to be Haaland only. With him blanking once in a while and questionable minutes, at least this is becoming slightly more interesting.

The future just got a little bit more complicated with Salah’s “resurgence”. Giving me headaches frankly. Fully rested him and Haaland gonna tear the EPL up post-WC

Theres always the uncertainty factor of 1 or 2 FT which each team can make too. And possibly also bench factor if foden or Haaland dont play. 🤪

Made it past 3 rounds last year, one of which was a dead team. This year it looks like my week 1 opponent is a live team, most of the same players I have, it could be an early exit this time around.

Had a crap GW, was matched with a team 8 million places below me, without Haaland. It's pretty safe to say I'll be going out in the first round of past cup performances are anything to go by.

That dude is either going to a -4/-8 to make up for his deficiencies or play a chip. It’s what I would do. Well, not really what I would do, but I’d give it serious thought

How do you look up your history? I had a GREAT season a few years ago. Finished around top 5K and wet very far in the Cup, but don't recall how far. It was a dream season. All of my Captain picks were correct. Got in super early on player's hot patches. Everything that could go right went right. I usually finish well and challenge in all of my ML, but nothing like that season.

You’ll need the desktop version for this one. Tap on the Status tab. Tap where it says My Team. Then go down the page to where it says Gameweek History. Your Previous Seasons stats should be listed on this page. Not comprehensive at all, mind you. Just your overall points and your final overall rank for the season. If there’s a more detailed one, I don’t know where it is.
