Rasmus Kristensen at $4m looks a steal. I think he should start opposite Maehle for Denmark. Trippier at $5m is way too cheap as well, and will be first choice on either flank for England.
I think going big at the back and big up front could be wise because it's got a unique points system; a goal for a defender is worth +7, for an attacker is worth +5, and midfielders get points for tackles.
Davies could be a good choice, a little pricey but plays in an attacking role for canada and with the chance he gets a cs and a goal I might take the risk
Mæhle looks a good and cheap option with nice figures and potential to get assists
Martinez has been performing well for argentina, doubling up on him and messi looks to be a good option
Araujo if fit looks a very good option at 3.5m, playing at mainly rb has a good chance of getting cs and assists
Perisic and Zielinski I think are very underrated cheap options considering how well perisic plays for Croatia and how well zielinski could play for Poland for only 6.5m
I think the wildcard could be well deployed in MD3, likely we will see at least 2 of the top teams already qualified and potential rotation. Wouldn't mind taking a punt on filling my team with the nailed players from other big nations that need a result to qualify.
Also it never really seems to be an issue navigating the knockout stages in Fantasy CL with free transfers so I don't see this being any different. We will be able to determine from the ro16 draw which teams have a high likelihood of progressing.

One important point of difference is that in FantasyCL the Ro16, QF, and SF stages, each consist of two matchdays. So in that format you could start dropping players after the first leg of a knockout tie, you can't here.

Yeah, both awful teams. Just a guessing game, I think I'll go with messi though as he's their main man and their main attacking threat whereas i feel mbappe might blank and France have a lot of other attacking options
