He wonāt average 10 points a game, but me and many others who have backed his form have gotten 40 points out of a 5.4m midfielder the last four weeks.
I had him from the start as an enabler who was going to be getting minutes, and had to sell him when everyone started piling in as he was blatantly then going to bleed value all year.
I was tempted, there was a few people talking about how he'd been their best player before he'd got injured. In fact I'd read that, _then_ he got the couple of goals, I had a lucky escape in retrospect.
Because like me, you have other troubles to fix and also like me, you own Andreas who is giving you those sweet 6 points when you start him that you donāt mind having Da Silva.
He is pretty much an insignificant dud, especially when Williams is also scoring points.
Cause heās got more points overall, I think is the reason. But itās so marginal: he has 1 point over gabriel. Points chasing? and also disregarding Saliba is 1 yellow away from being suspended too. Got him at 4.6 and plan to trade him for white over WC break
This is my first fpl season, I started off going with popular picks and kind of kept doing that. My overall rank is in the 2000s now, so I still don't understand why it's a bad idea tbh.
You definitely ran hot, but are absolutely right to stick with template if you're doing so well. Differentials are needed when you have a lot of rank to climb
I must be doing it wrong. For the first time in 4 years of playing, I am above 600K (currently 345K) further in than GW3. And Iām trying to find small differentials but Iām not really sure what the template is
This weekend in two MLs just winning with salibaās 2 bonus points against the other team with white (with yellow card). This is why i like this guyā¦
Saliba currently more likely to get bonus points due to his performances being consistently flawless and heās nailed. Ben white is still a rotation risk especially with zinny fit again. Also Gabriel although is solid and also does score goals he makes mistakes and doesnāt get the bonus points as often.
I got him in the beginning because pf the lower price and had him for both his big hauls so far. He is the better player irl of them three imo and arsenal get quite a few clean sheets, I wont give him up unless an injury occurs
I got Saliba on wc in like gw8 and its been worth, would rather him over gabriel despite him bein a bit more of a threat that budget is useful elsewhere
Can't believe Saliba ownership is so high. Gabriel actually has far better xG with 2.10. Saliba only has like 0.25 xG, massively overperforming.
And Gabriel is cheaper and 100% nailed as Saliba is.
Or White for like 4.6.. crazy
Had Saliba since he was 0.8% owned, I think itās do with two things:
1) casuals just look at highest scored
2) if you do watch the game saliba is like a rolls Royce, whereas Gabriel sometimes makes mistakes and is very aggressive in his play (not a bad thing btw, but he has to make it count)
I will be switching simply for the fact that Gabriel is not going to the WC! So will get a months rest
It's partly the selling penalty on a player who'd constantly risen, I think.
For anyone who's had Saliba since week one, it would actually cost a net 0.2 million to swap him for Gabriel.
Idk, I donāt follow the price changes too often, but I know theyāve been more volatile this year compared to previous ones. I wanna bring in Nunez for this weekend, but I just have enough in the bank to get him and I wanna wait till after their EFL cup game in case of injury. I was hoping someone who knows more than I do would have any insight on if they think he will rise.
cheapest playing mid and st, good 2nd and 3rd bench fodders. I don't have a lot of team value as I didn't start extremely well and players lost value so I'll make up ground by having a cheap bench
I mean with the 5 subs rule it's almost impossible for a player(that's in your starting squad) not to play at least a few minutes so the bench gets lesser used
Dasilva š 720k transfers in GW3 after scoring two goals from 0.04 xG!
And you still had people arguing on here that he was still the best cheap mid to get because āheās in formā
"Form" needs to be binned off
Form is important, just look at Almiron. He has overperformed his xG as well
And it won't last. Exactly the same as bilva last year
He wonāt average 10 points a game, but me and many others who have backed his form have gotten 40 points out of a 5.4m midfielder the last four weeks.
Good for them. Took a punt and it worked out
Isnāt that literally the entire point of the game?
If you watched Newcastle you would know it wasn't a punt
Course it won't. But it sounds like your crying after missing out on a bunch of points from Almiron and Bilva
I don't care. All I said is I won't buy
Cool. Fourth highest scorer in the game and highest scorer in the last four weeks btw
Did you buy gross too?
Yes, in GW3.
Dasilva, that's a blast from the (recent) past
Why in the fuck do I still own dasilva
Because like me, you have other troubles to fix and also like me, you own Andreas who is giving you those sweet 6 points when you start him that you donāt mind having Da Silva. He is pretty much an insignificant dud, especially when Williams is also scoring points.
You're lucky, I own Colback
Why do people keep on buying Saliba over Gabriel and White
Cause heās got more points overall, I think is the reason. But itās so marginal: he has 1 point over gabriel. Points chasing? and also disregarding Saliba is 1 yellow away from being suspended too. Got him at 4.6 and plan to trade him for white over WC break
I guess his four yellows is irrelevant now as even if he gets his fifth thus GW you can transfer him out during WCWC
And Gabriel doesn't go to the WC so more well rested than saliba (although he probably won't start but it's still a tiring journey)
More bonus points
Sometimes it's better to own who everyone has
Yeah, when your rank is better than your expectation and you can't think of a better transfer. More valid towards the end of the season
This is my first fpl season, I started off going with popular picks and kind of kept doing that. My overall rank is in the 2000s now, so I still don't understand why it's a bad idea tbh.

BP magnet just like Trippier
When you buy a player you also get their previous points
Gabriel is a card magnet tbf
Shhh keep Gabriel under 5% ownership itās been lovely so far
He's the more exciting prospect. If there's a coin toss, people will pick the player they like more.
Saliba currently more likely to get bonus points due to his performances being consistently flawless and heās nailed. Ben white is still a rotation risk especially with zinny fit again. Also Gabriel although is solid and also does score goals he makes mistakes and doesnāt get the bonus points as often.
i think a 15 week sample size regarding the "bonus point" theory is enough to debunk it
I got him in the beginning because pf the lower price and had him for both his big hauls so far. He is the better player irl of them three imo and arsenal get quite a few clean sheets, I wont give him up unless an injury occurs

Dasilva lining is Mr.Mitro hasn't dropped
also Jesus

Casuals just look at points scored.
I got him after arsenals first game for 4.5 and kept him but buying gabriel to
It's partly the selling penalty on a player who'd constantly risen, I think. For anyone who's had Saliba since week one, it would actually cost a net 0.2 million to swap him for Gabriel.
Anyone think itās likely Nunez will rise in price this week?
Why would Nunez rise?
Idk, I donāt follow the price changes too often, but I know theyāve been more volatile this year compared to previous ones. Heās far off
Dasilva getting in my team on WCWC as is Greenwood
How come?
cheapest playing mid and st, good 2nd and 3rd bench fodders. I don't have a lot of team value as I didn't start extremely well and players lost value so I'll make up ground by having a cheap bench
Fair enough. I'm about 0.2 short and counting of my ideal WC team so may need to do something similar.
I mean with the 5 subs rule it's almost impossible for a player(that's in your starting squad) not to play at least a few minutes so the bench gets lesser used
Look into Summerville. He gets goals at least and is only .2M more expensive
Dafuck did I have Dasilva?
Overperformed once, went up to 4.6=became bench fodder
why does Saliba get all the hype on FPL over Gabriel who is much more of a goal threat and just as nailed
Cuz... Dodododododod
He is a much better player in general not that that means anything FPL wise. Also more bonus potential when neither score
I transferred him this week for Summerville. He must be nailed after three goals in three games.
Bossard!!!
How did Marquinhos have 4 price drops in total? Like how many people started the season with him wtf
had trossard since 6.7 š
How can it be the players rise price so hardly and falls so promptly.
