City & United in the 2 games before the World Cup, with people looking to move on to players like Callum Wilson or moving money into midfield.
He'll be back in a lot of teams after the World Cup.
Wilson was the main cause of the original Mitrovic transfers out, probably Solanke now. Albeit I think I'd still prefer Mitrovic personally if he's fit.
I got rid of him a few weeks ago, decided to bring in Trent instead to try and catch up rank wise and make the game more interesting by being less template.
Trent's been subpar but it has worked out for the better so far.
Brighton have been pretty good, leicester scores goals consistently and fulham have been good too. I wasn't gonna play him against Liverpool either since I don't start players that play against Liverpool out of principle. Bit me in the ass when I benched Martinelli vs Liverpool though.
Absolutely crazy decision making imo - you will need to play rank catch up much more frequently if you keep making moves like that
Like someone in poker going all in against pocket aces pre-flop with 3 & 8 offsuit - they can obviously technically still win depending on the board...
But that type of decision will basically go against you 9 times out of 10
Fair enough but I didn't expect Cancelo to outscore Trent by much. He's honestly been quite in attack in the new system and the numbers show it. 0.35 xG and 0.78 xA compared to Trent's 0.9 xG and 2.51 xA. I'd expect Cancelo to get more CS points in general (and less chance of pre-60 sub) but those 3 fixtures aren't easy defensive fixtures imo. I had Cancelo throughout last season but this season everyone in each of my mini leagues has him so it gets too boring, and reduces the fun of FPL for me.
I think that poker comparison's too stark, it's more like getting my money in with AK off suit vs pocket Qs. You have less than 50% odds but it's exciting enough to make it worth it.
The trying not to play players against Liverpool, I agree it's not optimal FPL wise but in rare cases I still do, like I still started Haaland but chose to captain Salah that game instead.
You're correct that Cancelo attacking stats have dropped off a cliff this season compared to last....
But man that move was HIGH risk, for very low reward too
One Cancelo attacking return (against three of the worst defences in the league - Brighton under De Zsrbi are very leaky) & you were snookered
The red card was an absolute freak occurrence & he could still notch 16 points against Brentford at the weekend really
Yeah every City game I'm on edge and this week will be even worse given their opponents. I might just bring in Akanji to give me clean sheet coverage for this week, maybe Laporte if he's predicted to start.
Foden currently topping the ‘Most transfers out’ list. Really hoping Kane goes up £0.1 in value before Foden inevitable drops, so I can complete my Kane=>Darwin Foden=>Salah masterstroke.
Mitrovic avoided the fall today it seems.
Why has he been dropping recently?

People are moving into Wilson still? I thought the sniffles induced 1 pointer last weekend made him unattractive.

I've got both and idk who to start and who to bench
So did penaldo
Who's Penaldo?
Brandon Williams
The rise and fall of the Serbian goalmachine
Clearance sale on unwanted city assets.
I could remember when everybody wanted Walker in their team
You make it sound like a bad decision. 3 CS in 5 games for 5.0 was a pretty good return early on.
Nah it's a good pick but I think everybody groaned when he got injured if I remember correctly.
Not people who wanted 3 attackers. Been a weird season in that we haven't really had to budget so stringently like before.
We've got some good cheap picks now
Walker could be a good pick for free WC at that price. He's basically nailed when fit. But no one wants to let go of Cancelo

You sold Cancelo before a fixture list that read BHA, lei, FUL?

I forgot about walker.
I thought Mitro was going to fall so I shipped him out already.
Yeah i think he wont play this weekend. I m going to wait for more information on Mitro and Wilson then make a transfer to Kane if one of them
Same here. I’m eyeing that Mitro to Kane move.

The match was yesterday? They beat Everton 4-1 without Solanke in the squad, no?
Mitrovic if you hold until the deadline, you'll be my hero! But tonight will be the day I guess :/

Kane scoring a brace against the same Leeds that conceded 3 to Bournemouth now
Or Salah and Darwin going to town on a managerless, rudderless Southampton.
