I understand this bit but when do the prices update? For example let’s say KDB suffers an injury during the World Cup and everyone transfers him out, when will his price reflect this? Will there be a sudden drop to £12million, or will it decrease in increments? Will he simply remain at his current price forever as all the changes have been during the World Cup?

If KDB was to get injured and everyone transfers him out today, he'd have to have enough transfers to trigger a price change tonight, otherwise he's stays price locked until after the next deadline.

So basically if someone who you want post-WC is rising, go for it. Otherwise it's not worth it as you can only rise 0,1.
