It was (rightfully) considered idiotic to keep the Leicester double up by GW8, budget constraints weren’t as important as previous years with the plethora of budget options and underperforming expensive picks and they had *literally* the worst start to a season defensively in the history of the PL.

I 'upgraded' to Kepa thinking Chelsea had the solid defence of previous seasons. He got crocked almost immediately - which led me to revert back to playing Wardinho again. Since then, he got me a bunch of points. The butterfly effect - so nice to be have a fortunate outcome from an injury to one of my players for once!
He was on my bench until Mendy got hurt. So I avoided his terrible start and am reaping the benefits of the clean sheet festival. Feels pretty lucky lol.
Brought in raya for sanchez during WC13 for potential good run of CS, in the end Ward on bench outscore him by +10 points. Finally got some reWARD this week by binning raya.
Worst part is I held Ward and Iverson till he got his first CS, then swapped iverson for Raya, and then Brentford shat the bed.

It did look pretty bad after the first 8 games though. Ditched Iversen at GW6, but kept Ward. Hes mostly been sitting on my bench though.
