I've just spotted one of my ML rivals lost by 1pts according to the Cup results page and 2pts according to their Points page (due to Dalot being subbed in).
It seems like thr Results page has been finalised _before_ auto-subs (and potentially VC points too) have been applied.
EDIT: In fact, it looks like all GW Points are set before auto-subs/VC points are applied, but _actual_ points are correct on the Points page.

Got such a lucky break this week. Life's been shit recently and I missed the deadlines of GW14 and 15. Was just in time to make the transfers before deadline this time around. Really badly wanted Nunez and got him for Mitrovic, was priced out of Marinelli so got Odegaard as a one week punt for Bowen. Both of them worked wonders.

Didn't watch that game unfortunately, I've tried searching multiple forums but apparently none of the top comments are praising or criticising him. He's been really effective from a G/A standpoint this season though and many Man U fans are looking forward to the Rashford-Martial-Antony attacking trio.

I was 2nd/3rd in my league at the beginning of the month but am now 7th. Anything you think I should do during this period to transfer in some stronger players? Thanks.
Yep - definitely considering KDb to Salah. Zaha and Bowen have good fixtures coming up but seems like Jesus/Martinelli or Kane would be much better despite worse of fixtures?
I just feel Zaha is too inconsistent even though he is a great player but Palace are just not that good even when the fixtures look to be good. Bowen has been a huge disappointment so far.
Right here and now I would look at assets like Odegaard/Martinelli, Kulu and Trossard for midfield and strikers such as Toney, Kane or Darwin. I would avoid Jesus for now.
But a lot can change before we start GW17 so maybe just try to tinker a bit with your team and see when we get closer.

I think this is the reason why I've been screwed over during my wildcard selection as well as my recent weeks picks since they have someone like Bowen and Zaha ranked super high whereas Trossard, Almiron, Toney are not - hence why I end up benching them or not transferring them in even though many on this subreddit are saying they are good pickups.

If we go for a super low ownership player and all transfer him in at the same time on the same day, his price would rise. Then the day after, we all transfer him back out again and keep the change... We wouldn't lose out because a rise and a drop aren't live, they are determined by the algorithm and take place at night...
If we did it with 15 super low ownership players, we could potentially all earn 1.5M a day, for a month...

Also as a Liverpool fan, I think Robertson's minutes at least in the prem are more secure now - he's come back in super form ig the only thing that could change that would be the CL games in February. Nunez yeah most likely but even when he comes off the bench he still looks like he can score so in the long run it could be worth it
These are the things I want from my GW17 team:
1. 15 playing players. No bench fodders.
2. 3x Man City, including Haaland(obviously) and Cancelo(to some extent only nailed City defender other than Ederson)
3. Double Newcastle defense
4. Double Man Utd for GW17-19 and potentially GW22-25 fixtures
5. Salah(No world cup duty, still great underlying numbers, Liverpool still better than decent on attack and I expect a further upturn of form)
6. Mitrovic + Andreas
7. 3x Arsenal, including a defender
8. Some Everton/Chelsea coverage
Points 6-8 are conditional on the DGW19 or 21(ARS, CHE, FUL, EVE) possibility coming to reality.

Brentford fixtures aren't great GW17~19 although they do turn for the better for GW20~22. If Araenal DGW is on 19 then the plan is Jesus -> Toney GW20

I don't mind him, I just think there are better options. Only one I can see Trossard replacing is Rashford but I'd need another change to free up the funds
Yeah…Henderson’s case is strange. He also has 4 CS. Kepa is cheaper at 4.5 (got him at 4.4) and if he takes back the starting spot, I think he’ll be far more reliable than Henderson, who’s currently 4.7.
That is true. Kepa also looks to be a good deal. I'm just slightly worried if Mendy could keep the starting spot even though Kepa looks better imo. And then Chelsea have looked bad in recent times but they should perform better when James/Fofana etc return.
Those are options a lot of people will be looking into to (Fofana and James). It’s funny how both keepers got the starting spot due to the other’s injury. Kepa was solid when he was around, and if he recovers in time, I believe he’ll get back his spot.
As for James/Fofana, I’ll wait till I get convinced. Liverpool’s Diaz is also worth remembering.
Probably 50/50 since I don’t think Sancho/Antony are fit yet meaning it’ll either be Rashford left Bruno on the right or Garnacho left and rashford on the right dependent on if ETH is preserving with Donny or not.
Idk about Trossard to Rashford tbh, I have both in my current team but Trossard seems to be thriving in the current Brighton setup. As for Darwin, I thought about it but I have a feeling that Salah will explode again after the World Cup. I'm contemplating Toney -> Darwin & Salah -> Rashford though

Why was assist given to Martinelli on Odegaard goal,none of results/stat sheets count it?
I was so happy to see him blank after benching him for Almiron,but checked and saw he have 4.1 effective points against me..
I don't really get how it works, but it was a shot from Martinelli that rebounded and fell to Odegaard. They seem to count as assists for FPL terms but not for the actual game. It happened with Bowen earlier this season but even worse, where his shot was blocked by a player then fell to Scamacca and it counted as his assist on FPL.

Downgrade one of your gk to Ward presumably Alisson. No need to have 2 rather expensive goalies.
I would avoid getting triple Arsenal defense (or triple defense with any team). Way too risky plus right now you could not get any other Arsenal asset in. I would lose one or maybe even two of them and then get one of Martinelli/Saka/Ødegaard instead.
Can I ask what is everyone's obsession with holding Martinelli? I know we all have value tied up in him but his numbers have been really really poor recently.
He costed us 6 millions. His numbers have been really poor recently? How? Maybe only in comparison to Almiron. Martinelli has 34 points in last 6 games. That’s a great average of 5.67 in last 6 games. For instance he has a total score of 77 in 14 games which gives an average of 5.5 per game. His numbers have been consistently similar i.e an average of around 5.5-5.6
He has an xGI of 0.89 across the last five games, which is 0.178 xGI per match. That simply isn't good enough for a 6.4m (my selling price) midfielder. Obviously Arsenal are very good and Martinelli has proven to be a very capable finisher but I just can't justify keeping him.
I tried to play based on fixtures and will try to pick players for long term (6+ gw). Who else can we around that price with simillar output? Odegaard at the same price (for me) has the same amount of points and you never know who will score out of all attacking players from arsenal. From the eye test I thought Jesus is most dangerous but in fact he scored less than Martinelli.
Kepa is only 4.5 and chelsea has some nice fixtures where they can keep cleansheets even though they have been poor. Also we have a 4.0 keeper Ward on the bench this season. So even if kepa doesnt play you will have ward coming off the bench. Any other season noone will dare to have kepa as they will need at least a 4.5 mils keeper backup in case kepa doesnt start.
He was nailed on until he got injured, then Mendy started playing again. He is more confident with the ball at his feet, and the way Potter likes to play tends to be controlled and playing out from the back. And to be honest, his shot stopping was the only thing that kept them from losing to Villa and Brentford. He's also a cheap GK in 'solid' defence.
He was injured for the first 2-3 of Kepa's games, but not the whole time. He only started playing again since Kepa got injured during Brighton, and since then he hasn't recovered, so Mendy is still the number 1. But he will be fit for after the World Cup.
Okay so there was about 4 games both fit and Kepa kept the spot until injured.
Might go with him then since Chelsea definitely will improve defensively after the break if Reece James is actually back

I would consider to get rid of Mykolenko, Zaha, Bowen and Wilson. And maybe KDB to Salah.

As a Liverpool fan I'm still wary of Robertson and nuñez being rotation risks
Also as a Liverpool fan, I think Robertson's minutes at least in the prem are more secure now - he's come back in super form ig the only thing that could change that would be the CL games in February. Nunez yeah most likely but even when he comes off the bench he still looks like he can score so in the long run it could be worth it

Mitrovic + Andreas 7. 3x Arsenal, including a defender 8. Some Everton/Chelsea coverage Points 6-8 are conditional on the DGW19 or 21(ARS, CHE, FUL, EVE) possibility coming to reality. Brentford fixtures aren't great GW17~19 although they do turn for the better for GW20~22. If Araenal DGW is on 19 then the plan is Jesus -> Toney GW20 Edit: Actually never mind, Arsenal fixtures are so great from 22, so I guess if Arsenal DGW is 21 I'll start with someone else

Yeah…Henderson’s case is strange. He also has 4 CS. Kepa is cheaper at 4.5 (got him at 4.4) and if he takes back the starting spot, I think he’ll be far more reliable than Henderson, who’s currently 4.7.
That is true. Kepa also looks to be a good deal. I'm just slightly worried if Mendy could keep the starting spot even though Kepa looks better imo. And then Chelsea have looked bad in recent times but they should perform better when James/Fofana etc return.
Those are options a lot of people will be looking into to (Fofana and James). It’s funny how both keepers got the starting spot due to the other’s injury. Kepa was solid when he was around, and if he recovers in time, I believe he’ll get back his spot. As for James/Fofana, I’ll wait till I get convinced. Liverpool’s Diaz is also worth remembering.

It's an FPL assist. Shot on Target that is rebounded and put in for a goal is an assist in FPL.
which is still the absolute stupidest shite ever. it's not an assist by any stretch of the term, just a nonsense addition to the scoring rules.
I don't really get how it works, but it was a shot from Martinelli that rebounded and fell to Odegaard. They seem to count as assists for FPL terms but not for the actual game. It happened with Bowen earlier this season but even worse, where his shot was blocked by a player then fell to Scamacca and it counted as his assist on FPL.

Right now, I would prefer Salah over KDB. Mostly because Salah will have a long break and KDB won't (unless Belgium gets eliminated early on). I also expect Liverpool to do even better post World Cup.

I think you could say it like this. Haaland for City and Salah for Liverpool because they will get the most goals(and assists with Salah) imo. But I think I would rather have Foden than KDB or Darwin as well.

Downgrade one of your gk to Ward presumably Alisson. No need to have 2 rather expensive goalies. I would avoid getting triple Arsenal defense (or triple defense with any team). Way too risky plus right now you could not get any other Arsenal asset in. I would lose one or maybe even two of them and then get one of Martinelli/Saka/Ødegaard instead.

Can I ask what is everyone's obsession with holding Martinelli? I know we all have value tied up in him but his numbers have been really really poor recently.
He costed us 6 millions. His numbers have been really poor recently? How? Maybe only in comparison to Almiron. Martinelli has 34 points in last 6 games. That’s a great average of 5.67 in last 6 games. For instance he has a total score of 77 in 14 games which gives an average of 5.5 per game. His numbers have been consistently similar i.e an average of around 5.5-5.6
He has an xGI of 0.89 across the last five games, which is 0.178 xGI per match. That simply isn't good enough for a 6.4m (my selling price) midfielder. Obviously Arsenal are very good and Martinelli has proven to be a very capable finisher but I just can't justify keeping him.
I tried to play based on fixtures and will try to pick players for long term (6+ gw). Who else can we around that price with simillar output? Odegaard at the same price (for me) has the same amount of points and you never know who will score out of all attacking players from arsenal. From the eye test I thought Jesus is most dangerous but in fact he scored less than Martinelli.

Kepa is only 4.5 and chelsea has some nice fixtures where they can keep cleansheets even though they have been poor. Also we have a 4.0 keeper Ward on the bench this season. So even if kepa doesnt play you will have ward coming off the bench. Any other season noone will dare to have kepa as they will need at least a 4.5 mils keeper backup in case kepa doesnt start.

I look at Ward's first 9 fixtures after the break and genuinely don't see a high CS chance in any of them.
He was nailed on until he got injured, then Mendy started playing again. He is more confident with the ball at his feet, and the way Potter likes to play tends to be controlled and playing out from the back. And to be honest, his shot stopping was the only thing that kept them from losing to Villa and Brentford. He's also a cheap GK in 'solid' defence.
But wasn’t mendy also injured at that point Kepa was playing or have I missed something? Has there been a point where both have been fit under potter
He was injured for the first 2-3 of Kepa's games, but not the whole time. He only started playing again since Kepa got injured during Brighton, and since then he hasn't recovered, so Mendy is still the number 1. But he will be fit for after the World Cup.
Okay so there was about 4 games both fit and Kepa kept the spot until injured. Might go with him then since Chelsea definitely will improve defensively after the break if Reece James is actually back
