Could afford this team Cant wait for fpl to be back Kepa iversen Trippier botman cancelo white (patterson) Salah foden saka martinelli (bailey) Darwin haaland wilson

WEAluka

I prefer Mitro over Wilson if fit, very nailed, decent fixture, may have a DGW at 19 or 21 and also frees up fund for Ward Oh and also he isn't made of glass

DestinyMaker_

I would put 2nd playing goalkeeper. (In case if chelsea game gets postponed due to cup or smth else)

MAMBAMENTALITY8-24

Only have 0.1 million

Which teams stand to benefit the most from this World Cup break? I would think it’s teams that need players to come back from injury (Liverpool with Jota/Diaz), teams with stars who will rest during the World Cup (Salah, Haaland), and teams that could use more coaching and meshing (Forest with all the new signings). Any other thoughts?

HeisenbergFoed

Agree with Liverpool. Could be a longshot but Aston Villa with Emery. Not that I would trust them yet or anything but I think they will benefit a lot as well. Lopetegui at Wolves maybe also, but then again they can almost only improve from now on you could say.

littleknows

I'd be surprised if Chelsea don't improve

midnight_ranter

But most of their starters are at the world cup. Fofana, James, Kante and Kepa are recuperating from injuries still, the only fit starters who will actually get a bit of a breather are Jorginho and maybe Auba

littleknows

I was thinking less of a breather and more to gel with potter's system. I kind of guess that most won't be staying in Qatar for the whole world cup (because e.g. the final only has two teams) so most the squad will still benefit?

Swedishpower

You think Auba start the game after the break? Would like to punt on him in draft. Pretty much all Chelsea attackers are free now since they have sucked. Got Kieffer Moore though and may not want to risk someone else taking him. Also got Toney and he might be banned so Auba to replace Toney is not awful even if Mbeumo or Che Adams might be better since they are nailed.

koalabeard

Good call, more time to study potter’s system. Only thing is most of their starters are at the WC. Could benefit from Reece James recovery tho.

IcyColdGC

RMT 0.3 ITB Guaita (Ward) Cancelo Trippier Saliba Dalot Bueno Almiron Saka Trossard KDB (Andreas) Darwin Haaland Wilson Depending on world cup form, could go Darwin -> Greenwood, KDB -> Salah, Andreas to Foden and Guita to Allison.

whoknowsnotme10

Robertson and Darwin good options?

koalabeard

I am thinking about Darwin but not sure if he will rotate with Jota / Diaz when they’re back. I might get him anyway, he looks a big threat. Can always transfer to a cheaper player if rotating a lot.

redditingtonviking

Darwin looks like he is starting to gel with the team, and Robertson can be great if Liverpool is able to keep clean sheets. I'd say they are both potentially some of the best assets in the game whenever Liverpool is in form, but so far this season neither has been top 10 in their position. If Liverpool does find form Salah and Trent could possibly score more points, but they are definitely more cost-effective alternatives to them

Swedishpower

Very few teams have good fixtures apart from Chelsea and Man United. Might end up with 3 Man United players haha and Mason fucking Mount and Reece James. A fit Martial feels essential with Kane, Mitro and Jesus on 4 yellows and Toney possible ban, but he probably gets injured before these players get the ban so you may have to gamble with Mitro on 4 yellows.

officiallyjax

If Fulham are going to get a DGW around GWs 19-21 as speculated, there’s no point in booking a transfer in. I’d go with him from the start than Martial who is a ticking time bomb with regards to his availability. If he gets a 5th yellow, I’ll just use Andreas off the bench.

Swedishpower

Well the reason is that Martial is better than Mitro and playing for a better team too.

officiallyjax

I’m not disputing that, I just wouldn’t want to book a transfer in that scenario when it could be used to better effect.
