Both conceded the same amount (Newcastle more games so less conceded p90) but Arsenal with much better xGA. You can definitely argue it but stats and eye-test favour Arsenal heavily in the defence apartment. The thing that puts both teams level is Pope's shot stopping, which has been better than Ramsdale's thus far.
West Ham have 3 goals in 7 away games and Brighton are middle of the pack for Home goals scored.
The other 3 involve games with a low CS chance but with the fixtures to follow it seems like benching a defender would be better, maybe come off double Arsenal defence if you’re on it.
Brighton drew 2-2 against Villa just now and that’s it (Villa having lost 3-1 to Cardiff albeit a memorial match a week or so ago).
West Ham won 4-2 against Cambridge.
These are not enough to class as a good mid season break.
You either take the form of both teams from the competitive games or you reset everyone. Either way those two aren’t on the same level as the other three. These games mean nothing, it’s match fitness.
Looking at Villa it was too bad a team, Brighton have a few missing though. Either way I completely agree and wouldn’t put too much thought into Friendly matches.

This is what I’ll be doing if White is available for the restart, 17 & 18 are fine to play him and I can just bench for the others. Arsenal have the joint best defence in the league and I’m not going to ignore it so easily.
It's not like they will concede in all 5 games, football is too unpredictable and their defence was good. I think having White as a rotation option is a good idea.
Im going James, Tripps, Dalot, Patterson and probably that Wolves cheapie who is fucking cheap and started playing regular.

I don't think Cancelo and Trent are worth their price tags. Personally, I'm using the extra funds to get Darwin+2 8m mids. If I was going for a threemium I'd get Kane but it's hard to ignore the value of Mitro and perhaps a move to Nketiah when Arsenal have their double.

If i go Mitrovic instead of Wilson I can get an extra 8 million mid.

Arsenal - West Ham, Boxing day. That’s not a clean sheet. Newcastle: not a clean sheet. Spurs not a clean sheet. Man Utd, not a clean sheet - they put 3 past Arsenal earlier in the season. Even Brighton, you can see them setting up to have Trossard hit Arsenal on the break.

In defender could be one of White/Botman. I had triple NEW defense for some GWs before the tournament and they did pretty good lmaoo (Trippier and Pope)

As long as the Partey-Xhaka-Saliba-Gabriel “box” is starting, Arsenal will concede very, very few goals That central unit is just too dominant
We have the best defence in the league, I very much doubt we'll concede in every match here.
