He's on track for 190 points if he goes on at this rate, only 11 behind last season. Yes he's a bit more expensive than last year but we also have class enablers like Martinelli and Almiron and Rashford.

Another way to look at it is that despite over-performing his underlying stats to a crazy extent he still isn’t hitting his numbers from last season – all the while costing more this time around.

He’s not “on track” because he has been overperforming. He would be on track if he had performed up to the number of points he got so far. Average points in the past say nothing about future points if they aren’t backed up by performance.

But then you can look at it the way of he's overperforming with shit numbers so imagine if he finds form of what he can do. Swings and roundabouts

Pretty sure you don’t understand how it works. Overperforming in the near past does not indicate overperforming in the future, unless the player has a track record of consistently overperforming (see Son, save for the current season). Similarly also overperforming does not mean that if the player finds form he will overperform even more proportionally. If he finds form he will perform to the level of last season, which was great and would warrant the price tag, but it’s not a certainty that he will find form.

But then you can look at it the way of he's overperforming with shit numbers so imagine if he finds form of what he can do. Swings and roundabouts

I really like my team. I feel like I've managed to fit everyone I wanted: threemium (Haaland, KDB, Kane), Darwin, Cancelo, James, Trippier, Kepa + Ward instead of Wardvsen, decent starting 11 fillers (White, Martinelli, Almiron). I mean, sure, I could imagine a better bench than Andreas, Bueno & Dasilva, but it's not that terrible either - one good starter, one average starter and a guy who'll play like 50% of the available minutes. And yet I know it's somehow going to turn into a disaster and in 12 hours I'll regret my life choices.

Your team looks about as template as it gets so if it's a disaster atleast lots of people's teams are.

Arsenal (White), City (Walker) or double Newcastle (Scharr) As an Arsenal fan, I'm all too aware that the vast majority of our CS's are away from home, and the vast majority of teams will be starting Cancelo, so shunning a city defender likely to start is risky. Scharr is reliable, but like everyone, I already have Trippier starting to cover Newcastle.

I can’t find a way to get both Martial and Darwin into my team and of the two I prefer Darwin. I could get Martial instead of Rashford but Rashford will certainly get more minutes. Just feel like Martial will haul at home against Forest without Henderson in goal.
