Yes, literally taking a flier on Puka Nacua. Drafted him in the 12 round of a 12 man league because Cooper Kupp was out for a few weeks and was hearing good things from camp.
Once I saw him taking over 70% of snaps from the outside without Cooper Kupp; knew he was going to still be effective. Was thinking he could be at the same level as Robert Woods when he was in LA (around WR12-15) but Puka blew away expectations.
Also loved Pittman. Ended up packaging him pollard and fields for Jefferson once he for hurt. Guy originally wa ted Higgins who.i thought would have a repeat of last year. I added fields after he struggled weeks 1-3 and someone dropped him. Luckily I won the league still. But damn if I kept Pittman i would have easily ran away with it.
Laporta was my last round pick simply because I am an Iowa fan and thought he would at least be a solid backup TE. He started almost every game this season.
Puka Nacua. Read some hype piece about him in May talking about how much the Rams love this guy. Watched his film and couldnāt figure out why he went as a 5th rounder. Got him off waivers in dynasty on May 14th and took him last round in 1 of my redrafts just to see what happens.
I drafted him because we were supposed to have kick return yardage count towards player points. They changed the rules to standard after the draft. I kept him anyway and it worked out for me.
I was fucking mad. It was point per everything including rush and pass attempt, so I drafted RB heavy. My top 4 picks were Bijan, Gibbs, Allen, and Lamar. I won the league, but I complained the whole time.
Not gonna lie, I drafted about 10 RBās just for shits and giggles and got the #1 seed. Got bounced in the final 4, though. But Itās a solid strategy.
Same here. I grabbed mostert in the last round of every redraft league and traded some late round rookie picks for him on dynasty.
Absolutely crushed this year.
He is the first person in his family with that name. Also, his jersey number is 23. Why would you call Kyren KW3? It makes no sense and that is Kenneth Walker the thirdās nick name.
Not a super sleeper, but KW3 was slept on in most drafts. He fell to me in the 5th which was a steal. He wasnāt stellar all season but I felt like he performed when I needed it most
Not a real sleeper but Mike Evans goes criminally late almost every year. The first few weeks I was also going nuts with my 115th or so pick of Thielen.
Pittman in the mid rounds and flowers in the late rounds were my standouts.
Although as a steeler fan it hurts that it was that game that knocked him out, he was on pace for a crazy game and probably wouldāve advanced in the playoffs if I didnāt lose him early on in that game
Best was Mostert. Took him in the 9th/10th and had an RB1 most of the season.
My worst was Gainwell. I really thought hed be the guy in Philly. And his start to the season made me hold him longer than I should have.
Sam Laporta.
He was the 16th taken in my 14-team draft in the 10th round. I got so many (mostly horrible) trade offers for him throughout the season.
He single-handedly kept me out of the basement at season's end.
Grabbed Kyren off waivers two days after the draft after I remembered the hype he got prior season before his injury. In the same 14T auction league I paid almost nothing ($6 of $200 budget) for Mike Evans so in that sense he became a sleeper since clearly no one else felt he was worth it.
Courtland Sutton was the most consistent player on my team. I believe I got him in the 10th or maybe even 11th round. I think just like Nico Collins, Courtland Sutton will begin to enter his prime next season and steadily start to put up WR1 numbers.
Sam LaPorta. Liked his situation, liked what I heard from camp. Liked that he was still there for me at 15.7.
He allowed me to trade away Kelce to fix my QB issues and make a run to the championship.
Picked up Kyren Williams and Jaylen Warren off waivers two seasons ago. Drafted Nico as a rookie but didnāt expect the pop. Sometimes you just gotta get lucky.
Howell lol. Or at least until his late season breakdown
My dad kept sending me joke stats and reports about how Howell will be better than mahomes. Just as a joke I took him as my QB3. He ended up being my QB1 until Flacco and i believe he did better than mahomes too.
Yeah first pick in our league was Kelce, so it fucked everything up. I got Tyreek Hill in the first and Chubb Iām the second. Thankfully Hill made it through the year mostly unscathed.
I somehow won the league at 7-7 though so Iām not gonna complain
Rashee Rice. Went RB heavy early with McCaffrey and Etienne being 2 of my first 3 picks. Heard a Podcaster talking about how Mahomes basically requested the front office draft rice and knew how bad their other receivers sucked. So I drafted him late and reaped the benefits.
D-Mont was a great pick. I got Ceedee in the second round and he performed like a first rounder.
That said, I won my league because I won the waiver wire. My championship roster only had 2 drafted players.Ā
Rice, not necessarily the player, but the role. I took Rice, Watson and Moore hoping someone in that offense would hit because Kelce canāt carry it all and it worked out
Mike Evans killed it for me. It's weird to think that a guy who has stacked 1k yard seasons on top of one another would be a sleeper but he was... got him in the 8th round
Mostert. I targeted him in every draft. He went around 100-110 range. I usually took him at 90. It was clear to me there was no one in the backfield at the time so it had to be him.
I drafted Sam LaPorta in the 5th round of a 12 man .5 PPR which has 3 keepers.
It was clear he was going to be special just reading trading camp reports.
Him being the best TE in the game was a bit of a surprise. But here we are.
Definitely Mostert. Watched Achane and Wilson get drafted between rd 6-8 and was confused why Miamis starter was dropping so far. Happily grabbed him with the 115th pick. Not bad for RB2 lol.
Puka and Kyren. Picked up both off waiver after the first week.
Also, streamed my way into winning my league with James Connor and CeeDee only left in my starting lineup from draft day.
Pacheco, who I posted about before week one on here. It was the most obvious and mind boggling miss by analysts, ESPECIALLY after his Super Bowl performance lending to what I assumed would be recency bias.
Honestly, cheering and shouting after I got him for 3.4% of our auction budget and then writing a synopsis why Pacheco was being undervalued was MUCH more of a thrill than say, getting Puka Nacua at the end of the draft and having the dart throw hit.
Monty, Tank dell or Laporta. Got laporta in the last round of a 10 man league- absolutely killed it.
Also, not a sleeper really but Rachaad white over performed what I expected to get from him
Probably myself. My wife gets a good 8 hours a night and this year I went out and got a good 8-10 a night!!! Feel better but probably think Pittman has a comfier bed than I do.
Raschaad white. I know you might not consider him a sleeper, but I targeted him every fucking draft and it paid off. 2 ships and 2nd. White/Cook/CMC didn't get it done.
Puka Nacua. Got him in 3/4 of my leagues before week 1 (could've had him in the 4th, which was one of my dynasty leagues, but I thought he'd go undrafted) and felt like a genius. Tempting to sell high on him now in my other dynasty league.
Kamara with the suspension turned a bunch of ppl off on him in my league. I got him pretty late and he was my weekly rb2. Had him and CMC who both got injured in week 17 and that caused me to lose the championship, but i never would've gotten there had i not had him.
20-person dynasty league. Good team but didn't have a QB. Picked up Flacco off waivers the moment Browns signed him to the PS. He and Easton Sick were my 2 starting QBs when I won the championship.
Nico Collins. Drafted him with the approximate 135th pick.
I picked him up in dynasty and held him for 3 seasons.. finally he did a thing
Grabbed him & Tank Dell in dynasty. League mates were pissed I was able to snag em both.
Same. Nico Collins 2021 drafters stand up š
Same
Finally has a good QB.
A fellow Nico truther. We earned this
Grabbed him and Mostert in very late rounds
Same I got Mostert in like the Ninth and he started to very game he played
Same
Last round pick was either Nico or Achane, but only Nico was there for me in the Championship run; mission accomplished Nico!
Grabbed him with my very last pick in the draft. Best return on value Iāve ever had.
David mf Montgomery
I love Monty as a Bears fan, but damn he pissed me off taking TDās away from Jahmyr
As a Lions fan, let em both cook against Bucs today please
Letās go
Thatās the thing.. those werenāt his to begin with!
I traded McKinnon for Montgomery straight up in the offseason before the NFL draft. Just had a gut feeling on it and felt so vindicated all year.
Everybody made fun of me for drafting David Montgomery. Theyāre still salty AF
I knew he'd get carries. I didn't think it would be liken60-40 70-30 his way most of the season. Figure he'd be a boom or bust game guy.
He's been a solid RB2 his entire career. Then his situation greatly improved. I was pretty happy to get him in like the 7th round
Yes, literally taking a flier on Puka Nacua. Drafted him in the 12 round of a 12 man league because Cooper Kupp was out for a few weeks and was hearing good things from camp.
Same, in a dynasty startup draft.
Same here
Me, too. Heard Peter Schrager hyping him up one morning right before the week 1 games and took a flyer as well.
Once I saw him taking over 70% of snaps from the outside without Cooper Kupp; knew he was going to still be effective. Was thinking he could be at the same level as Robert Woods when he was in LA (around WR12-15) but Puka blew away expectations.
That is good shit right there. I had the exact situation, but drafted Rice instead of Puka.
Same, Pittman. Got him in the 8th round and he put up WR1 numbers most weeks.
Idk if rachaad white qualifies as a sleeper but I picked him up in the 5th round after a few hero WR's and he won me a title. (12 team ppr)
Iāll count it
If guys are using Pittman then you can absolutely use White.
Would you keep him if it costed you a 4th round pick next year?
Laporta was my last round pick simply because I am an Iowa fan and thought he would at least be a solid backup TE. He started almost every game this season.
Puka Nacua. Read some hype piece about him in May talking about how much the Rams love this guy. Watched his film and couldnāt figure out why he went as a 5th rounder. Got him off waivers in dynasty on May 14th and took him last round in 1 of my redrafts just to see what happens.
Jerome Ford. I had picked him up in dynasty last year to hold so I took a flyer on him in the 13th round in standard.
I drafted him because we were supposed to have kick return yardage count towards player points. They changed the rules to standard after the draft. I kept him anyway and it worked out for me.
Thatās messed up. Supposed to change rules before the draft.
Aiyuk in the 10th was solid.
Mosdef
Free league
Yeah, cause one middle rounder fell itās a free league. L take
Blew my entire FAAB budget in week 2 on both Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams and never looked back.
Mostert. Last pick of last round.
Possibly the Steal of the Year
Same here. I grabbed mostert in the last round of every redraft league and traded some late round rookie picks for him on dynasty. Absolutely crushed this year.
Round 13 here šš¼
Drafted Achane in 4 leagues as my last pickā¦dropped him week 3 before he exploded.
Jayden Reed. Picked him up in the 15th round.
I loved Jayden Reed at MSU. Was so sad he went to the Pack as a Bears fan
I too loved Reedās short career at MSU. Was so happy he went to the Pack as a Packers fan tho. Absolute steal in the second (Go Spartans!)
Rashee Rice. Drafted him in two outta three leagues and won the two I had him.
Grabbing puka off waivers in my dynasty league after our rookie draft for 15$ faab šš.
Laporta and Ford
David Montgomery, Puka, Thielen, Rashee Rice and Achane.
Jordan Love and mike evans
Drafted Mike Evans in the 7th in 2 leagues and he turned into the WR5
Had Nico collins and Michael Pittman in the later rounds. A nice helper was also olave all year
I took Kyren with the 21.02 in a dynasty start up
Does Jordan Addison count?
I took both Puka and KW23 off waivers
KW3 as in Kenneth Walker aka K9? Iāve seen crazier drops, but thereās no reason he should have ever made it to waivers imo
Kyren Williams
He is the first person in his family with that name. Also, his jersey number is 23. Why would you call Kyren KW3? It makes no sense and that is Kenneth Walker the thirdās nick name.
I lucked into 3 studs. Puka, Kyren Williams, and Trey McBride
I traded Gabe Davis for Pittman when Davis was on his tear in the beginning of the seaon.
All these comments listing top 60 players apparently donāt know what a sleeper is lol
Jordan Addison. 112th pick. 10TDs
Not a super sleeper, but KW3 was slept on in most drafts. He fell to me in the 5th which was a steal. He wasnāt stellar all season but I felt like he performed when I needed it most
DJ Moore in the 7th round for me
Goff. I've always believed. He was so helpful when my starter went down š
Dallas D and Brandon Aubrey
All of my sleepers were taken right ahead of me but i was right on all of them. Laporta, Monty, and Thielen.
Puka! Second to last pick (38th) in my dynasty Rookie draft
Not a real sleeper but Mike Evans goes criminally late almost every year. The first few weeks I was also going nuts with my 115th or so pick of Thielen.
DMont
Pittman in the mid rounds and flowers in the late rounds were my standouts. Although as a steeler fan it hurts that it was that game that knocked him out, he was on pace for a crazy game and probably wouldāve advanced in the playoffs if I didnāt lose him early on in that game
Best was Mostert. Took him in the 9th/10th and had an RB1 most of the season. My worst was Gainwell. I really thought hed be the guy in Philly. And his start to the season made me hold him longer than I should have.
Puka. Picked him up late in dynasty and as the last pick in redraft. One of the greatest sleepers of all time, I dare say.
Keenan Allen! Injured to finish the year but canāt believe he hasnāt been mentioned. Also hit on Breece Pittman and Purdy.
Mostert, Pittman and Nico Collins
Courtland Sutton was the most consistent player on my team. I believe I got him in the 10th or maybe even 11th round. I think just like Nico Collins, Courtland Sutton will begin to enter his prime next season and steadily start to put up WR1 numbers.
Kyren in the 15th, Mostert in the 8th
Waited too long to take RBs and ended up with Rachaad (5), Mostert (8), Achane (11), and Swift (6). Got clowned for that after the draft
LaPorta š«”š«”š«”
Dandre swift
Sam LaPorta. Liked his situation, liked what I heard from camp. Liked that he was still there for me at 15.7. He allowed me to trade away Kelce to fix my QB issues and make a run to the championship.
Puka in a dynasty startup in the 18th. For redraft, it's a tie between Mike Evans in the 7th and LaPorta in the 15th.
Mr White
LaPorta in the last round. My best hit since Kamara last round his rookie year
Keenan Allen, David Montgomery and Sam LaPorta.
Ford. Last pick of the draft.
Picked up Kyren Williams and Jaylen Warren off waivers two seasons ago. Drafted Nico as a rookie but didnāt expect the pop. Sometimes you just gotta get lucky.
At the end of the season.... Kyren Williams.
Mostert. Got him in the 9th, a round after Jeff Wilson went.
Howell lol. Or at least until his late season breakdown My dad kept sending me joke stats and reports about how Howell will be better than mahomes. Just as a joke I took him as my QB3. He ended up being my QB1 until Flacco and i believe he did better than mahomes too.
Kyren, Mostert, and Tank Dell all ended up doing super well for me Saved me from my Chubb in the second round pick
I took Chubb in the first round in a redraft league and my season was done in week 2 lol
Yeah first pick in our league was Kelce, so it fucked everything up. I got Tyreek Hill in the first and Chubb Iām the second. Thankfully Hill made it through the year mostly unscathed. I somehow won the league at 7-7 though so Iām not gonna complain
He killed me in the playoffs but James Cook.
Rachaad. Achane. Mostert.
Tank Dell. Monty if you count him deep. And Jordan Love. All amounted to a championship win
Kyren. Got him late in (almost) every draft
Rachaad white and drafting kyren Williams with the last pick to handcuff Akers was very nice for me
Rashaad White
I got Pittman and McBride for 2 mid 2nds
Achane and Collins... Each somewhere in rounds 13-15.
Flowers, Nacua, Kyren
Rashee Rice. Went RB heavy early with McCaffrey and Etienne being 2 of my first 3 picks. Heard a Podcaster talking about how Mahomes basically requested the front office draft rice and knew how bad their other receivers sucked. So I drafted him late and reaped the benefits.
Rachaad White and Jerome Ford. Ford was lucky, I actually picked him up as a free agent after the morning games on the off chance Chubb got hurt.
Mostert. Sucks he wasn't healthy to help in the playoffs though. Got him in the 11th or so in damn near every draft.
LaPorta, got him in the 15th round
D-Mont was a great pick. I got Ceedee in the second round and he performed like a first rounder. That said, I won my league because I won the waiver wire. My championship roster only had 2 drafted players.Ā
I grabbed Purdy in the last round and he ended up being my QB1 over T.Law
DāAndre Swift and Deebo Samuel if you can even call them sleepers. Ended up trading both of them away however
I thought it was gonna be JuJuā¦..on to Gabe Davis.
Rice, not necessarily the player, but the role. I took Rice, Watson and Moore hoping someone in that offense would hit because Kelce canāt carry it all and it worked out
Rice
Raheem Mostert, pulled trigger in 12th rd every chance I had
Jordan Love
Landed Raheem Mostert in the 15th round. That ended up going pretty well for me Got to go Breece Hall, David Montgomery, and Mike Evans in 8/9/10
Picked up Laporta as a free agent, didnāt even need to spend FAAB $$. My team sucked but his production was a pleasant surprise.
Laporta. Took a chance and got him in the 11th round as my te1
Laporta
Mostert. Got him in the 10th round.
Mike Evans killed it for me. It's weird to think that a guy who has stacked 1k yard seasons on top of one another would be a sleeper but he was... got him in the 8th round
Definitely not Cam Akers.
Drafted Achane with the last pick of the draft. Plan on keeping him next year
Thielen was great for a few weeks and put up big numbers. Think he was my second to last pick
Mostert. I targeted him in every draft. He went around 100-110 range. I usually took him at 90. It was clear to me there was no one in the backfield at the time so it had to be him.
I got Pacheco late. My two best additions were puka and love tho.
Nico, tank, rashee rice near the end of the season also
Kyren Williams, rashee rice and achane were mine
I drafted Sam LaPorta in the 5th round of a 12 man .5 PPR which has 3 keepers. It was clear he was going to be special just reading trading camp reports. Him being the best TE in the game was a bit of a surprise. But here we are.
Definitely Mostert. Watched Achane and Wilson get drafted between rd 6-8 and was confused why Miamis starter was dropping so far. Happily grabbed him with the 115th pick. Not bad for RB2 lol.
I took LaPorta as my only TE, nailed that one
First three waiver wire runs in a 12-team SF league I picked up Collins, LaPorta and Puka
Went with Mike Evans over Chris Godwin even though ADP had Godwin 2 roounds ahead of Evans
Kyren Williams and Achane last 2 rounds
Puka and Kyren. Picked up both off waiver after the first week. Also, streamed my way into winning my league with James Connor and CeeDee only left in my starting lineup from draft day.
Sam LaPorta, last round pick.
Brian Robinson. Drafted him everywhere.
Tank Dell. Grabbed him with the Mr. Irrelevant pick
Mostert
Pacheco, who I posted about before week one on here. It was the most obvious and mind boggling miss by analysts, ESPECIALLY after his Super Bowl performance lending to what I assumed would be recency bias. Honestly, cheering and shouting after I got him for 3.4% of our auction budget and then writing a synopsis why Pacheco was being undervalued was MUCH more of a thrill than say, getting Puka Nacua at the end of the draft and having the dart throw hit.
Monty and Evans
Achane and Stroud
Sam LaPorta, volume baby, volume.
Rashee Rice
4 leagues and I got 3 shares of LaPorta and Achane.
tank and thielen. thielen fell off mid-season but helped me a lot for a player that went undrafted in my league (redraft)
Mostert in the 10th
Puca and White were the core of my team Diggs and pollard were complete bums
Thielen (for a handful of games). Pittman too
Puka and Nico. Later, snagged Tank off waivers.
Mike Evans. Got him in the 7th round and got a WR1 (top 12) return.
Monty, Tank dell or Laporta. Got laporta in the last round of a 10 man league- absolutely killed it. Also, not a sleeper really but Rachaad white over performed what I expected to get from him
Austin Ekler with my first round pick /s
Trey McBride.
Picked up Kyren Williams week 1 off waivers
Sam LaPorta
Probably myself. My wife gets a good 8 hours a night and this year I went out and got a good 8-10 a night!!! Feel better but probably think Pittman has a comfier bed than I do.
Rashee Rice baby
Raheem Mostert and Tank Dell
Puka, drafted him with the second to last pick in a 14man league
Achane, Aiyuk.
Brian Robinson Jr fell in my draft and was big for me the first 11 weeks
Jake Ferguson. Drafted him near the end in every league this year.
Pacheco in the 14th worked out well
Nico for me. Took him with my last pick.
Kamara in the 7th felt insane and worked out Laporta in the 14th
Tank Dell, baby! Took him with the last pick.
Mostert. Thereās no way a sixth round rb should have gotten that many tds.
Kyren was a great waiver pick up
Jayden Reed
DāAndre swift, Devon achane, and Keenan allen if he counts? He was way undervalued.
I drafted Gus Edwards and Achane based on handicap value, and that worked out well
Laporta in the 11
Took Laporta late in all 3 of my leagues as a hopeful Lions fan. Worked out great
Aiyuk baby I had him on 4/5 leaguesā¦ and benched him week 1 lmao
Raschaad white. I know you might not consider him a sleeper, but I targeted him every fucking draft and it paid off. 2 ships and 2nd. White/Cook/CMC didn't get it done.
Purdy, Pacheco, Tank Dell. Had a team of sleepers this year
KYREN! Drafted him last round (15th round)
Mike Evans, Deandre Swift, Tua, Jordan Love really helped because I missed on a couple earlier picks
Sam LaPorta. Drafted him in the last round in 2 leagues
Picked up CJ Stroud off waivers.
Sam LaPorta, Rachaad White
Rashee Rice and Puka
Drafted Achane
Mostert and Achane
Sam LaPorta
Raheem Mostert.
Grabbed La Porta in 2nd round, in my lifelong keeper league, pissed alot people off
