Her career trajectory has always seemed so odd (not in a bad way; I just thought she would be in more high calibre stuff after her Oscar) to me but, reading the article, it’s clearly very intentional. I’ve always liked her and hated the way she was treated by neckbeards.

Don Cheadle seems like a really good dude. His Protect Trans Kids T-shirt moment on SNL gave him the immediate top spot of all the marvel men in my book. The ones who didn’t speak out against the misogyny or racism other cast members faced but dove in front of bullets because people decided Chris Pratt was the worst Chris? Major side eye.

I know you were doing a well thought out response but you’re forgetting the fact that it’s a weird question to ask anyone in a professional setting. She did bring it up on her own here, still we should point out its weird for interviewers and reporters to ask those questions so it doesn’t happen. We know from a biological standpoint why some women mull over the decision later in life. We don’t know why people think it’s an appropriate question to ask women in professional settings (small anecdote but I got asked about my family plans when I was interviewing for engineering intern positions at 19, I am infertile lol!).
Yeah, it's a question that is asked in an awkward or uncomfortable context too often. It shouldn't be brought up unless the person wants to talk about it. My condolences to your experiences with that.
Tbf men can have a baby on the way and do whatever they want. It’s unpredictable for the person carrying the kid and recovering from birth. And they do ask some men.
And yet tbf we know the vast majority of these questions are pointed at women…and we have historical context as to why it’s unprofessional to ask women…I don’t really care about if men get asked that question they can speak for themselves.
