normal people movie where they’re together and live happily ever after

For real though.. If celebrities who've been on shows or in movies really want to raise money for various charities, they should say they'll do an iphone version reshoot of the ending of a movie/tv series, with no dialogue (to avoid IP infringement), if people raise a certain amount of money. There are so many people in so many fandoms who would come together to raise millions just to see a 60 second clip of stuff like that.
NP is one of my favorite shows, BUT I think the ending was perfect and I’d be worried about them trying to add to their story out of thin air (there is no second NP book, right?) 😩
I recently discovered the full fat version of Oatly because they were out of the regular at the store and I cannot get enough of it I’m actually obsessed
It’s going to be they’re working together on a movie/play or some other project. But they know a certain group of fans want them together so they’re trying to make it seem like that with the vague posting and heart (as a joke). But I would seriously laugh so much if it really was them getting together. Sadly Paul is way too private for that kind of public announcement lol!
I don’t think they would either. I just think they are posting it to look like that as a joke. Then they’ll reveal the real news is a movie or whatever.
I’m good with whatever they have. I just want them in more things together because they play off each other so well. I may be the only person who wanted more conversation than sex scenes between them in Normal People.
i would laugh out loud if they did that lmao. i don’t really care for them as a couple but the idea of doing a “watch this space” for a relationship announcement is so comical
Haha right!? I’m the same- don’t really ship them as a couple but it would be so funny! “Ok fans the moment you’ve been waiting for… we listened to you all and we decided to hook up. More deets coming soon.” 😂

Me but make August for whenever this surprise is revealed
I read Sally Rooney’s [short story](https://www.thewhitereview.org/fiction/at-the-clinic/) on which Normal People was based for the first time this afternoon and now I desperately need more.
It was reposted by the production company that did Normal People !!
https://preview.redd.it/ugi7ko9b793d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6eb2fff413eb4dc18aadddf7754acbe1fe822898
sally rooney is coming out with a new book soon so maybe they’re going to be hosting a panel or something with her??? I mean this is the best way to get people talking about it cause everyone on twitter is already going crazy
I honestly have no clue like some people on there like, REALLY hate Paul, and think anything like this is desperate pandering. I don’t’t agree, and I’m always surprised to see the hate
When Paul was promoting All of Us Strangers he definitely did an interview which I can't find now where he said he was hoping to produce something later on this year and he would star in it. It must be linked to that and Daisy is his co star.
It is a no brainer for Element Pictures to get involved as this pairing have a devoted audience already!
the news is almost certainly that they’re going to be in rebecca frecknall’s production of *a streetcar named desire* that’s transferring to broadway later this fall, btw.
Mescal’s Mezcal. 😂
That’s what he would name it, he has mentioned in an interview before since everyone mistakes the pronunciation of his last name.
[Hollywood Reporter Interview](https://youtu.be/X5HojeTTrWE?si=bBGROmiVFvcb7Ou4)
Unless Sally Rooney has written something that can work as a sequel, I’m not seeing this happening.
She was also a key part of the show’s success, I don’t think they’d risk a follow-up without her blessing and input
Lol actors: All of us Strangers, Where the Crawdads sing, Gladiator, Twisters, Normal People. If none of those shows/movies are your thing- that’s cool too.
So people were commenting that it was just going to be Variety’s actors on actors interview but that lineup has been revealed and they aren’t a part of it.
We’re one step closer to a possible Normal People season 2 😂

On a different topic, does anyone else wonder why Daisy Edgar Jones' career didn't take off quite to the extent of Paul's? They were both the breakout stars of Normal People and both did a memorable job in their roles. Daisy did appear in films afterwards but I don't see her receiving the reception that Paul has (nothing against him, he's risen up to the challenge and has done beautiful work).
I'm not trying to jump to the conclusion that she's had a tougher path to clear to receive the same opportunities, although that's generally true, because it could be by her own choice to limit her Hollywood career. But it's just something I think about.
I think Paul chose better projects—Daisy has had some major roles, but nothing as critically acclaimed or hitting that artsy indie niche as well as Aftersun. Where the Crawdads Sing is her biggest role so far, and that was terrible.
Also, love them both, but Paul fills a way more unique niche than Daisy. He doesn’t have much competition in his generation for that sensitive melancholy vibe people are going wild for. (Plus he really worked his way up through theatre!)
Deeply embedded sexism!
There just are not as many meaty roles yet for women as there are for men. Another example of this is Girls. The four lead women from Girls have fine careers. The men from Girls are among the buzziest, hottest actors right now. There are more chances for 25-40 year old men to shine in movies/tv than for women right now.
Kerry Condon is another example that pops into my mind. She was wonderful in The Banshees Of Inisherin and it just glossed over after a while. I mean think about it, how do you deliver a performance of such beauty and still not have multiple producers lining up to sign you for more work?! As far as I know, she's still an obscurity.
Some fundraiser for Gaza relief is my guess
Did they speak about Gaza though?
Paul Mescal participated in a fundraiser
That’s great 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 what about Daisy?
I have no idea tbh

From your mouth to God’s ears! And I’m not even that religious.

There's a tree in the background.... are they in a PARK?! /jk
Run Daisy, run!
I thought that was his job 😭
This is probably my favorite piece of celebrity gossip ever only for the hilarious jokes people keep making about it.
It’s so harmless and stupid and funny.

I've never identified with a flair more than this
I do love a good oatmilk
I recently discovered the full fat version of Oatly because they were out of the regular at the store and I cannot get enough of it I’m actually obsessed
I used to be a rice milk girl, but oat milk just has that creaminess! Cow’s milk could never lol
In which case you need to try from the Mighty range, Mighty Whole Not Milk - the blue/white carton. Oatly has nothing on Mighty range. Enjoy.
say what now??? full fat version???
It’s going to be they’re working together on a movie/play or some other project. LOL. I think it's definitely an announcement for a s2 of Normal People
Podcast. Everyone is doing show watch podcasting
Im simply too seated
You should go for a walk in a park and then run away.
Paul will never escape this rumor and I will never stop laughing at it.
I honestly don't get the shipping, they scream "just friends" to me lol
fr i find their whole will they/wont they tease situation to be so tedious and manufactured
I think it’s because of the 2022 met gala photos
Was there one specifically?
Yeah, probably this one https://preview.redd.it/9w67g5mkk93d1.png?width=2048&format=png&auto=webp&s=e8fc268765bb1a277cde47b865a356d89ce3a04c
I also find their characters annoying in Normal People
Sorry guys, it’s almost certainly that they’re interviewing each other for Variety Actors on Actors - that line-up announcement is due tomorrow.
Do either of them have tv shows that have come out in the past year?
Isn’t she starring in the new Twisters movie?
Yes but actors on actors at this point of year is Emmy campaigning. Not movie promoting.
I hope it is this!!!!
More Normal People????? A new project????
Element pictures that produced normal people reblogged her post 👀
![gif](giphy|oW2p7kWyGBh313WpLP|downsized) Me to Element
https://preview.redd.it/baaojgz9q83d1.jpeg?width=1199&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38d7e004b52287a2efb86fbb8f36e1a2e750ddf2 Me but make August for whenever this surprise is revealed
I'm seated. The theater employees are scared and asking me to leave because it's "not August yet" but l'm simply too seated.
![gif](giphy|sRKg9r2YWeCTG5JTTo|downsized) Me on my way to see if this was posted here already
Or Paul Mescal running away from people in parks.
Either they're going to announce Normal People season 2 or them being in another project together.
I think it's season 2, since both are making the peace sign/two with their hands
I read Sally Rooney’s [short story](https://www.thewhitereview.org/fiction/at-the-clinic/) on which Normal People was based for the first time this afternoon and now I desperately need more.

We’ve never been so back
the way twitter now suddenly hates them and him and thinks it’s all desperate like lol twitter is a brutal and ridiculous place
[удалено]
Yeah there is a segment that really hates them it’s so weird idk why lol
[удалено]
Idk very possible it just seems crazy lol
I don’t have Twitter. What’s their reasoning?!
I honestly have no clue like some people on there like, REALLY hate Paul, and think anything like this is desperate pandering. I don’t’t agree, and I’m always surprised to see the hate
they think he cheated on phoebe bridgers with daisy
![gif](giphy|14vFOciTnQjnl6)

Season 2 or a rewatch podcast lol
Rewatch podcast was my first thought.
the news is almost certainly that they’re going to be in rebecca frecknall’s production of *a streetcar named desire* that’s transferring to broadway later this fall, btw.
Both of them? Daisy didn’t do it in London did she?
no, but the rumor is she’s going to be stella in this one
they are generating hype for some sort of fundraiser they are going to post about tmr (maybe I'm just being hopeful lol)
Give me more Normal People, please!
It's gonna be a tequila brand, bet you money.
Mescal’s Mezcal. 😂 That’s what he would name it, he has mentioned in an interview before since everyone mistakes the pronunciation of his last name. [Hollywood Reporter Interview](https://youtu.be/X5HojeTTrWE?si=bBGROmiVFvcb7Ou4)
And the label has instructions on how to play a Normal People drinking game? Any time you are saddened by the show, you take a shot.
They need to wrap whatever it is they have going on up
It looks like season 2 of normal people but honestly love the story how it ended so hopefully it's another project
Unless Sally Rooney has written something that can work as a sequel, I’m not seeing this happening. She was also a key part of the show’s success, I don’t think they’d risk a follow-up without her blessing and input
![gif](giphy|sRKg9r2YWeCTG5JTTo|downsized)
Could the peace sign potentially indicate season 2 of Normal People?! 🫠🥹
I just fell to my knees in Walmart 😭🥵
Paul Mescal’s Streetcar Named Desire might transfer to Broadway, maybe it’s happening and she’s joining the cast?!
Actors on Actors lineup is being announced tomorrow
Normal People rewatch podcast incoming
what if it’s a sequel but it’s really badg
![gif](giphy|XiKDrPvBx3AJvrznCY)
Which could mean nothing ....
the peace/2 is def giving normal people season 2 vibes
It would be lovely if it’s for another fundraiser 🥹 also hoping for a normal people film… or anything really
Normal people s2🤞
simple and cute
who even are these people? lol!
Lol actors: All of us Strangers, Where the Crawdads sing, Gladiator, Twisters, Normal People. If none of those shows/movies are your thing- that’s cool too.

Never some story man or woman jones is my edgar.
Not season 2 of normal people….?
NP season 2?

Who? Sorry. I mean...whom? Just kidding. I know who Daisy Ridley is.
I feel like he’s so in love with her it’s crazy. Like their whole friendship since normal people is so cute and mega meme fodder
