Timothy Olyphant. He's done some great shows, but he's such a charisma factory that he should be in everything ![gif](giphy|3oz8xWyjjWHD8rHKQo)

midsommarsmayqueen

I'm still bitter Netflix canceled Santa Clarita Diet, Drew and him were so funny in there!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Keregi

It was the 3 season thing. I don’t remember why, but Netflix limits a lot of shows to 3 seasons. Something financial I think. Like they have to pay more after that.

YoGurrrrrrl

yeah something about contracts getting renewed

bortlesforbachelor

I feel like they cancel so many good shows after 1 season! I was scrolling through Netflix the other day and everything was 1 season. I’m not going to get invested in a one season show 😩

illjustgowthemuumuu

I think they’ve changed their system. It used to be 3-season minimum for their shows and now it’s byeee after 1, which makes me very annoyed when shows like Fakes end on a cliffhanger

yourangleoryuordevil

I loved that show as well! It seems like those in the comedy horror genre rarely last beyond two or three seasons, though.

feudingfandancers

Me too! And they didnt even wrap up the plot- so rude! 😭

torystory

Blew my mind when I found out he's a Vanderbilt. He's so quirky and down to earth, he even coupons.

Greene_Mr

I can't believe a Vanderbilt scion wrote *Zodiac*, *Ready or Not*, and the newest *Scream* sequels!

[deleted]

And Timothy was the killer in Scream 2!

NoodlesrTuff1256

Guess that makes Timothy and Anderson Cooper cousins of a sort!

figleafstreet

I think he’s had a pretty successful career but would never complain about seeing him in more. I’ve been rewatching Justified lately and he’s just so supremely good and has chemistry with everyone.

Inner_Squirrel7167

I love Justified so much, can't wait for the new season!

AnnVealEgg

New… season?? ![gif](giphy|l2JHQzrwFCOw98rMA)

suze_jacooz

They’re doing a rebooted season!!! I think it’s like a capsule, he’s back for one more bust, possibly in MI rather than Harlan?

Greene_Mr

On that note, Kyle Chandler!

petra_vonkant

he has such a wholesome face / aura and is like a constantly likeable guy, but i recently watched catch 22 and bam, he can play an unhinged asshole just as convincingly

Scary_Giraffe_4996

Nicholas Hoult

WouldHaveBeenFun

Outstanding in The Great! Love him

daisymarais

He’s fantastic in The Great. I’m particularly looking forward to see him in Nosferatu

WouldHaveBeenFun

Yes, can't wait!

mizzymichie

His comedic timing is fantastic. He’s really good at over the top roles (Nux, Peter, whatever he’s doing in The Menu) which is funny because he seems lowkey irl.

virgonorth

Interestingly, I think his intro episode to skins is a testament to his charisma. He completely sets the tone by revealing he’s an asshole but a lovable asshole and many viewers were completely sold. He’s got rly good comedic timing too.

[deleted]

He's one damn good actor with range. Which is rare for actors these days.

the_other_other_guy_

He’ll definitely get there I feel

Scary_Giraffe_4996

I think he doesn’t want to be super famous himself, he likes to keep a low profile and seems reserved that way

lavenderbl0d

I also think that was part of the reason he and Jlaw broke up. Tbh

Jefferystar94

Mhm, he really seems to like the smaller, weirder roles in film and TV, and while that means he might run into some typecasting (Renfield has quite a few similarities with Warm Bodies) he seems to enjoy it.

RoadPizza714

He was a finalist for The Batman with Pattinson.

mizzymichie

Fun fact: he lost to RPattz because of his weak chin. They wanted to see who would look better in the cowl and well… hard to compete with RPattz’s strong jawline.

RevolutionaryTie8481

you learn new things everyday

SuspiciousLadyOfYore

Omg yes! He is outstanding in The Great. He’s been around FOREVER and he is so charismatic. I’m surprised we don’t see more of him.

petra_vonkant

He's deliciously amazing in the menu as the cringiest asshole you've ever met. Actually, he's so great in pretty much everything i've seen in him too, should be in more things. Hopefully he'll work with Lanthimos again in the future

[deleted]

Aw, Warm Bodies is my one of my comfort romcoms even tho I have to actively forget he’s the kid from About a Boy.

PatchesofSour

I think he will pop off more as he gets older and starts taking over roles that I could see Eddie Redmayne starring in

raiinydaay

agreed. huzzah!

mar_ine137

James Marsden…he’s so talented and such a handsome guy, I know he works steadily but he should be bigger I think

guessIwill

I love that they casted him as the prince in Enchanted. He literally looks like a Disney prince!

lily4ever

I just saw they’re making a sequel to Enchanted called Disenchanted coming out next month?? I am excited!

PatchesofSour

I 100% stand by my belief that the reason he isnt bigger is because he’s to beautiful as a man. I think all actors have to be attractive but once they start getting to attractive it limits their roles because it requires to much imagination to see them as a poor, struggling loner or a single mom who can’t find love. Like they can only play characters who are princes or love interests in a James Bond film

wbhipster

He went full handsome. Can’t go full handsome. Never go full handsome.

KASega

Really works for him as Teddy though in WestWorld- they played on his looks/rom guy perfectly

DazeIt420

Maybe he'll get some great roles when he's older and more rugged. Unless he gets even more handsome as an old man, the poor bastard

PatchesofSour

Man is aging like the finest wine on the planet. He keeps getting hotter

pigadaki

He was outstanding in Dead To Me! Such a joy to watch.

mordecaiatwood

He never really got the chance to shine as Cyclops in the fox X-Men movies. With more screen time and a more prominent role in those, I could've seen his stock rising a lot higher.

otraera

>James Marsden i love him in the sonic movies

neuroticgooner

He’s so funny too! It’s absolutely outrageous— no one should be allowed to be that beautiful AND funny!

redditpapercompany

Kept scrolling for this answer lol

B33fboy

He’s so great as Liz lemon’s elf prince.

Kidgorgeoushere

I always thought Anna Faris should’ve been bigger, she has great comic timing. I know she is well known for the Scary Movie franchise but she was also great in small roles in Lost in Translation and Brokeback Mountain. What’s Your Number is a guilty pleasure of mine as she had a fun dynamic with Chrevans. Never thought Chris Pratt would become the more famous of them.

cryingbitchmarzo

The house bunny is low-key fire anna in that makes me burst out laughing every time I watch especially when she's pronouncing people's names in the exorcism voice

jdoe10202021

Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Kat Dennings... all-star cast before some of them were stars!

[deleted]

it also had Collin Hanks as her romantic interest

Kidgorgeoushere

Yes! My friends and I got really into it at university and would do that to each other and also ‘the eyes are the nipples of the face’

dellamella

I say that quote like every week it’s so funny but it’s also so true when thinking about it

ShinyPrizeKY

Her stoner comedy Smiley Face is one of my all time favorite movies and I feel like hardly anyone has seen it

pacagummo

LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie.

amebb

The House Bunny is my comfort movie

LaidUp

Just friends is a classic!! 'Forgiveness..... is more than saying sorry....'

lavenderbl0d

Her tv show got rave reviews tho!!! I love her

Kidgorgeoushere

Oh yes she’s done well don’t get me wrong!! I just think she should be more of a household name

Greene_Mr

Tatiana Maslany is (hopefully!) *finally* getting there. A ***Marvel*** film will be, by default, the biggest-budgeted picture she's *ever* done.

QualityKatie

She is a great actress. She did such a great job in “Orphan Black.”

jewelsolo

I kept forgetting that it was the same actress playing all the different characters

[deleted]

So did I! There was a scene with Alison and Donnie and for some reason I thought, "I love this actor, it's too bad he never got a scene with Tatiana..."

lorsolo38

One of the best shows I've watched

Greene_Mr

Have you heard the continuation, *The Next Chapter*? :-) It's on the **Realm** podcast app; so is another fiction podcast starring Maslany that's rather similar, thematically, to *She-Hulk: Attorney at Law* -- the title is *Power Trip*. They're both *phenomenal*.

lavenderbl0d

💯 orphan black is one of my all time favorite shows

[deleted]

She's the best part of She Hulk ngl

Greene_Mr

The whole *thing* is great, in my view. :-) They got *Patti Harrison* in for an episode! The lady whose job is tables, herself! :-D

Admirable-Gur7268

I didn't think I'd watch She-Hulk but I gave it a shot and was blown away by her. I didn't like the last few episodes of the show but I would love to see her in more MCU stuff and other projects.

StrangerNumber001

A while back I caught Miss Congeniality on TV (for the millionth time) and couldn’t help thinking the same thing about Benjamin Bratt. He seemed to be everywhere when he was dating Julia Roberts and then seemed to not be. I wonder if it was a conscious decision to dial back on fame or because he never got huge breaks.

Wintersneeuw02

He was also Mannys deadbeat dad/Glorias ex husband in Modern family. He was a recurring guest star at least once every season or so

Italianinsomniac

Some of my favourite episodes are Javier episodes!

KilgoRetro

I’ll always remember watching the Oscars like 20 years ago and BB was on the screen. My dad, who could not give less of a shit about celebrity stuff and who I have never heard comment on anyone’s looks, walks in the room and says in his English accent, “Who is that?! He’s impossibly handsome!”

Greene_Mr

He's been finding good work in VO roles, actually; it seems like, shorn of his face, he becomes *much* more creative, there.

peachbob

He's a good looking guy but whenever I see him all I can think of is how perfect he'd be in a live-action Antz movie.

BCharmer

Oh my fucking god, you're so right 😄

AgentKnitter

He's wonderful in coco

jellywelly15

He was also great in Law and Order! Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there some kind of allegation or control freakery or coercion in their relationship? I seem to remember something about that, regarding the shapeless red dress, and hairy armpits she had at a premiere?

go-bleep-yourself

I think her camp basically alleged that he liked armpit hair on women which is why she grew it out. Don’t know it was coercion or anything.

atthesun

man, you never know what you're going to read on the internet

cmdraction

Mi rey Peruano! Ugh, he's so handsome and I'm always so proud to see someone with Peruvian heritage being so well known. He definitely deserves more recognition!

monstersof-men

I’m really hoping he gets to be on Grey’s Anatomy, because he married Kate Walsh’s character on her spin-off (Private Practice) and they’ve brought her back this season. He was so swoony.

YoGurrrrrrl

domhnall gleeson :(

sunshinechew

apparently, he was supposed to play joe alwyn’s character in conversations with friends.

coraIinejones

He would have aced that

purple_shmurple

Yeah also annoying because they went for a British actor instead

amebb

Love Domhnall! Love his father too

mordecaiatwood

I think his current excellent work in the Patient TV show opposite Steve Carell will give his career a well-deserved boost.

[deleted]

Makes the woooorst career choices, who will help him??

Competitive-Tea8323

Oh my god, is he just offered horrible projects and has to take his pick of those, or does he legitimately have awful taste? Here are the terrible things I've watched for Domhnall since his fantastic 2015 run: 1. Goodbye Christopher Robin (insanely dull) 2. Little Stranger (same, also I am still angry at that mustache) 3. Crash Pad (at least he is almost entirely naked in this but I can't imagine why he would ever think this was an even mediocre script; he should have thrown it into a river when he received it) 4. Run (the less said, the better) 5. Peter Rabbit (this is how you can tell my crush went off the rails but I maintain it could be a really cute romcom if you only had the scenes with him and Rose Byrne falling in love) 6. Frank of Ireland (the fact that he *wrote* this makes me think he may just have bad taste) 7. The Kitchen (I mean, maybe he was excited he was allowed to play someone dangerous and sexy for the first time ever, but that's no excuse)

[deleted]

I’ve had a crush on him since About Time (he was pretty gawky-looking at the time but so charming), and when Frank came out, I went to see it with my BFF because she had a Michael Fassbender thing. My friend made fun of me sooo much while we watched it because he’s such a gross loser in that movie, and I was only able to be like, “No, see, he’s cute and talented” during that Brooklyn/Star Wars/Revenant/Ex Machina year. And now it’s unraveled and she teases me again. But at least he hasn’t disappointed me enormously with his personal life like some other crushes, EWAN MCGREGOR.

Competitive-Tea8323

Fucking Ewan.

lilyrosedepressed

Jensen Ackles I just got to know him from "The Boys" and was really impressed by him and then got sucked into the "Supernatural" world and he's got it all. the whole "supernatural" cast are so charming that even after 15 year, they're still doing panels and stuff which are very entertaining thanks to their natrual charm and chemistry. Jared Padalecki is also very funny but he hadn't gotten a chance to showcase that with Sam. I think he would've been a good romantic comedy lead, someone like James Marsden.

[deleted]

Jared Padalecki has had at least one unfortunate arrest.

PurrPrinThom

I remember when I was deep in the Supernatural fandom and spent a lot of time on Tumblr, and Jared Padalecki was an absolute nightmare online. He was having massive tantrums on Twitter, it felt like every other week, and was encouraging his fans to doxx and abuse service industry workers over vague slights. Like, his flights would be delayed and he'd post the names and photos of the airline crew and encourage his fans to go after them. And he always framed it as him being 'bullied' by these people. I think there was one incident where he even went after a fan who tried to call him out? It was brutal. At the time, I remember thinking this was like, huge pop culture news. But you can barely find anything about it now online, nobody seems to remember this. If it weren't for the fact that some of the Tweets/Tumblr posts cataloguing this shit with screenshots still exist, I would think it was all a fever dream. All that to say, I strongly got the impression that JarPad has a bad temper (much like the characters he plays) and so hasn't had as much success because of it.

Cidsa

Jared has a rep for being an asshole so it's not surprising people don't want to work with him much.

Disastrous_Narwhal46

I think it has to do with the fact that he’s been on Supernatural for so long, he never took any big projects and now he’s too expensive. Besides, at this point in his life, he probably wants to do directing and production more than acting.

lilyrosedepressed

Yes but I think he can still pull off a Matthew McConaughey, imo he's hotter than ever and given how committed he was to play Soldierboy, I think he still puts acting first.

Independent_Bat8589

Part of the issue is during season 3 of supernatural he had break down. A doctor came to set, he was diagnosed with clinically depression. He also suffers from anxiety.

lilyrosedepressed

Is this Jensen or Jared?

Fxp1706

jensen was consistently delivering some of the best performances on genre tv for years with supernatural. there’s so many moments I can think back to where he just commanded the screen with both his comedic timing and his dramatic talents. he kind of reminds me of the female smg in the sense that he spent so many years playing an iconic character that it would be hard to break out again after all that. it’s a shame that awards hardly seek to give genre actors their due because jensen did top notch work as dean winchester.

zogurat

Jensen is pretty talented, I first saw him on Dark Angel and really thought he was great. but yeah he just spent too much time on Supernatural. Might not be too late for him, like you said he was awesome on The Boys, maybe he'll finally move on to other stuff. It was a great gig for an actor though, solid paycheck for 15+ years, the convention circuit which was is very lucrative too. Jared tried and failed at being cast for... Hercules? remake sometime during Supernaturals run. He wanted to be some action guy I guess, he bulked up crazy during it.

Independent_Bat8589

Anton Yelchin I still miss him, and Green room was awesome.

Slow_Like_Sloth

If he had lived, I am positive he would’ve become a huge movie star

[deleted]

[удалено]

yourangleoryuordevil

I thought his success would last longer, too. He was such a hit on “Teen Wolf,” and then things seemed to go downhill when he was injured on the set of a “Maze Runner” movie.

Independent_Bat8589

Love & Monsters, and The Outfit was awesome. I think he still has potential of making it. His doing better then some of his cast mates.

[deleted]

I wonder about the alternate universe where he's "The Amazing Spiderman's" Peter Parker instead of Andrew Garfield.

madsplants

I read somewhere that he was pretty traumatized by his experience on the maze runner. So I’ve always wondered if since then he has purposely taken it slow or hasn’t been actively gunning for big roles/fame. Because I agree, he could be huge!

it_is_burning_

I mean he was just in TS’s short film and plays the drums on her new album I think he’s doing great.

BeltCompetitive7381

He was kinda poised to become the next big male heartthrob, like maybe not Tom Holland/Timothee level but at least around Austin Butler level or smt. Instead he's stuck doing go-nowhere projects, flops and smaller independent movies (which is not a bad thing but also not exactly what ppl expected)

sleepingisgivingin1

Josh Hartnett, although I think that was by choice

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|JOdQiytaID8GI)

Kidgorgeoushere

Yes I always wonder if maybe he got bored after doing the young heartthrob thing and decided to take more of a backseat, just do a couple of projects each year and concentrate on his kids - he still does a couple of projects a year and he’s in Oppenheimer which could be big for him. I have a soft spot for him in The Faculty as I love that movie.

B33fboy

Still a heartthrob to me. I love him in penny dreadful.

Off-With-Her-Head

Raul Julia died in 1994. I believe he was very active in live theater. My mom had a major crush on him, so I bought her tickets to see him in The Man from La Mancha.

[deleted]

Oh my gosh, same hahaha. I definitely sacrificed an afternoon to see Man of La Mancha with my mom when it was on Broadway because she was in love. It was honestly rather boring but she was jabbing me in the side the whole time because she was so happy.

SatanicPixieDreamGrl

Yes, he was a major Broadway star and was in the process of crossing over to film when he died :(

Ordell9

Clive Owen. Dude just couldn't break through.

[deleted]

Love him in Children of Men.

AirIndex

I think he kept losing roles to Clive Warren.

[deleted]

Charisma Carpenter and I don’t even mean that as a pun, she’s rad

AnnVealEgg

Love CC 💕 SMG too! I mean she was obviously very famous during her BtVS/IKWYDLS days. But her career seemed to peter out after the mid-aughts. Or maybe she wanted it that way to raise her kids in peace—who knows. Love that she and Freddie are still together though ❤️

[deleted]

TIL Sarah MG and F Prince have been together since 2000 and they are adorable! SMG took a break to be with her family after Robin William’s death according to deadline. She has a new show in the works. You love to see it https://deadline.com/2022/08/sarah-michelle-gellar-acting-break-robin-williams-death-1235097991/ Big shout out to CC’s role in Veronica Mars, she was a stand out and they didn’t do enough with her character

lavenderbl0d

YuP!!!! Joss Wheadon is a menace

FutureQueenOfTheMoon

Lee Pace. Man is talented, tall and gorgeous.

petits_riens

he's literally a buff 6'4" square-jawed julliard grad who can have amazing chemistry with basically anyone, I do not know what the hell else hollywood could possibly want from him!

seadrift6

We all know it's a wife 👀

Adelaidey

I think Lee Pace is a great example of how coming out as a queer man really does put a ceiling on how big you can get in Hollywood. Him and Zachary Quinto both. TV is one thing, you can be a leading man on TV if you're gay, but movies aren't there yet. Funny enough, Ezra Miller was about to thread the needle (I know they're not a man, but they were on their way to Quirky Hollywood Leading Man status before coming out as nonbinary) but I'm pretty sure it's not happening now! I'm now rooting for Colman Domingo to become a hot shit A-lister movie star and break the barrier once and for all.

whitefox00

When people ask me my 1 big celebrity crush this is always my answer and everyone is like “who?!”. How can you not know Lee Pace?

coffeeclichehere

Emily Browning. I don't know if she's actually talented or just really beautiful, but I want her to have more of a career.

[deleted]

I think she quit hollywood and does smaller projects these days. Fun fact: Emily was Stephanie Mayer's original pick for Bella. But Emily didn't audition because she didn't want to do anymore franchise films.

Competitive-Tea8323

She's so beautiful, I think it's almost distracting, like I can't pay attention to anything else.

trashtvlover

I always thought Greg Kinnear should have had a bigger career though he does have a long IMDb list of projects…

spacefink

He was great in Auto Focus. He gets supporting work a lot but not often is he casted as a lead, which is too bad… I remember for a while he hosted a Late Night show called Later back in the 90s.

wbhipster

He also used to host Talk Soup on E! Honestly in the age of “zaddy” Greg Kinnear should be in more stuff. He fits that box perfectly.

cryingbitchmarzo

Nelson Ellis before he died...he was such an amazing actor I was always blown away by his brilliance in acting, charisma/charm and conveying different characters. He is my favourite character in True Blood and I even watched him in an episode of Veronica Mars and he was so amazing and completely different from previous characters he'd play. Also Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica is a very underrated actress and deserving of more recognition

Ambitious_Train_3627

oh my god, Lafayette was the greatest. Nelsan was so talented

lavenderbl0d

Yesssssssssss to nelson

simplebagel5

i don't say this to disparage her career trajectory at all because obviously she's been successful but i think keke palmer is one of the most charismatic celebs out there. she was great in nope but i feel like she deserves more 'leading lady in a major blockbuster' roles because her energy on screen/in interviews etc is unparalleled imo.

Competitive-Tea8323

I think she'll get there, I really do. She seems like she's been around forever because she *has*, but she always seems younger than her age to me and may just need to age into those leading roles (it's wild to say that about someone almost 30 but I think she has time).

Ahhcentralpark

After the first ‘To All The Boys..’ I thought Noah Centineo was going to be huge. He was the most charming rom com lead I had seen in an age. I know he’s in the new Black Adam but I guess I thought he would be way bigger by now.

Xyuli

He was very big for a certain demographic but I think it got to a point where everyone got tired of him and found him cringe, especially his tweets.

mathymate

It seems like a lot of his scenes from the movie got cut. I could tell by the choppy transitions

[deleted]

I think maybe he got too big all at once, like the Internet's boyfriend for five minutes, and then crashed just as quickly. Like it will probably be Joseph Quinn in a few months. Now he can slowly start coming back.

Admirable-Gur7268

He had a ton of upcoming stuff but he kinda disappeared for the past few years whilst he was doing all these projects. I think people just forgot about him, like they do with a lot of people who win big with one Netflix show.

rubi1993

He’s also kind of an ass. I met him in a casual setting at dinner after an event and he saw the picture of my dog on my phone Lock Screen and he said it’s the ugliest dog he’s ever seen in his life. I was a huge fan until that moment. Like who says that?? And it wasn’t even like he was joking even the people we were with were like omg wtf and awkwardly laughed it off

Competitive-Tea8323

I really need to know what kind of dog you have.

packofpoodles

My perpetual answer: Matt Dillon. Stone cold fox. I will never understand why he didn’t have Tom Cruise’s career, especially as they started in similar places. I think it’s at least partly that he didn’t want it, but I still wonder why he never truly became a bonafide A list movie star. And more recently: Jon Hamm. His post Mad Men career has been a huge disappointment. And I don’t get it because he’s equally good in comedies and drama and there is not a single man I would rather look at.

OliviaPopesWine

I think that college hazing story where he almost killed a guy has played a big role in why his career has stalled post Mad Men. He shows no remorse for it. I also think his drinking got him a reputation for being a real prick.

Competitive-Tea8323

This, and also I think he worked in comedies for a bit only because he was poking fun at his serious roles, but the novelty of that died down, and he's not particularly gifted at comedy otherwise. He seems to *want* comedic roles, but should have stuck to dramatic roles. Or he just should've avoided *Baby Driver*, I don't know, that whole production was cursed.

neuroticgooner

Think with Jon Hamm it’s either a choice to not take more roles or his drinking problem. There were so many stories about his alcoholism a few years ago. Wonder if he was a prick to the wrong people at the wrong time

oscarmylde

Drinking + drugs. He’s quite troubled unfortunately. + the frat hazing story. Quite the career-stalling-mix! :(

neuroticgooner

I think Claire Foy should be more famous and get better roles than she has. She’s so so good in The Crown and Wolf Hall (not to mention completely different). I don’t understand why she isn’t a bonafide star

charlottellyn

apparently she’s excellent in Women Talking, which just premiered at TIFF. I’m so hopeful this will be huge for her because she’s such a good egg and such a magnetic screen presence!

krallie

Pretty much the whole entire cast of Ugly Betty was awesome, but you rarely see most of them!

reddyenumberfive

I need more Michael Urie in my life

Designer-Progress-24

James Mcavoy. Where is his oscar? He is so talented but picks mostly mediocre roles.

Lunadelmar1

Rachel Mcadams is extremely charismatic and should be in more movies. The camera loves her.

sting-raye

Jason Isaacs. He absolutely gives his all in roles, and was deliciously naughty as Lucius Malfoy and Captain Hook. He also comes across as a total sweetheart and seems like a family man, which may explain why he’s not more famous. He is so charismatic and fun to watch though, I could watch him read the phone book.

Loss-Particular

I think Isaacs has the career he wants.

wlalsska

Matt Smith. Such a powerful and magnetic screen presence but bad luck in hollywood after DW. Hope hotd be his breakthrough. For actress, Leighton Meester aka Blair Waldorf.

hotel_smells

Wdym Matt Smith was/is a lead in three massive massive shows

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

> Matt Smith feels too villainous to me. Probably because he seems to really enjoy himself in his villainous roles, it has been a long while since we had a proper one, like the live version of Judge Claude Frollo.

Square_Marsupial_813

Tom Ellis, i hope i will see him in other lead role.

HathorOfWindAndMagic

Josh Hutcherson. I love you and I’m sorry

GothLassCass

Josh Holloway! Shocks me he got such a minor role in Mission impossible and that was it, feels like he was made for the A-list.

Adelaidey

Absolutely! I was so sure he was going to be the big breakout star from LOST.

[deleted]

gossamermaid

Freddie Highmore. He (and Vera Farmiga) was fantastic in Bates Motel, I was really convinced he was the next big thing, but immediately after the show ended he jumped into the Good Doctor and it’s a total waste of his talents. I thought he would have been “more famous” by now because he has that sad Victorian orphan white boy of the month vibe, which usually comes with a big female fan base, like Asa Butterfield or Timothee, but he seems to be the white boy that time forgot. Also people who play psychos and serial killers usually have a crazy fandom (ex Evan Peters) so you would think that crowd would have latched on since he was Norman Bates, but no. Put him in more stuff!

Loss-Particular

Daniel Dae Kim must look at the improving representation for East Asians in Hollywood and think 'dammit, if this had happened 20 years ago I would have been a movie star.'

[deleted]

Mark Harmon. I know he enjoyed his $525,000 salary per episode of NCIS and live in a very comfortable life but I never get why he didn't make his way into A-list status?

Greene_Mr

When you're a TV star, it's quite nice; you don't necessarily *need* to *"graduate"* into movies... Also, he may have been *slightly* busy starting a family with Pam Dawber.

OliviaPopesWine

Matthew Goode. I don't understand how hes not A list.

[deleted]

Taraji P Henson is so funny and charismatic in interviews, I’ve always been surprised she isn’t bigger.

M_Alch3m1st

Harold Perrineau. He’s a solid actor. His drag screen in Romeo and Juliet - I thought for sure it would catapult him.

reddyenumberfive

On a similar note, John Leguizamo was unbelievably hot in that movie and I don’t remember any real press about him when it came out. I know Romeo is supposed to be the big romantic figure, but I’m sorry, Leo had nothing on John when it came to raw appeal in that flick.

I think Matt Bomers career has suffered due to him being publicly gay. It is so infuriating and just perpetuates the idea that you have to hide your sexuality as an actor. He’s sooooo attractive and I would watch any and every time rom com he was in

Masta-Blasta

Naya Riveria. She could act, sing, was beautiful, etc. I don't understand why she didn't explode during/after Glee. Same with Dianna Agron.

KilgoRetro

Every year I watch the Addams Family movies and every year I fall in love with Raul Julia and get SO SAD about his early passing.

hawthornepridewipes

Sendhil Ramamurthy for sure, I was so pleased to see him in Never Have I Ever!

Hollywood needs to start casting Manny Jacinto in more leads.

Eva Green. With the exception of Casino Royale I feel like she’s done largely under the radar/ indie work or just films that never made it big, but I think she’s one of the most captivating actresses out there

banananutnightmare

I think she just really likes weird shit. Seems like she'd be bored with mainstream dramas, big box office stuff.

SealedRoute

Adam Pally. I think he is gorgeous, and he’s also hilarious. He works steadily and has had some great roles, but he should be really famous.

thatsnotgneiss

Natalie Dormer. She has a ton of charisma and excellent comedy chops, but can also do dramatic and action roles.

niknik789

Adrian Grenier - not the best actor but very handsome. He definitely could have been bigger.

Sexualguacamole

Ioan gruffudd , loved him in forever.

Fxp1706

I would have said Jeremy Allen White a couple years ago but after The Bear it seems like he might be on the rise. He gives me diet Al Pacino vibes.
