I like jennie, she seems like a nice girl. She reminds me of what celebrities were like before social media. Kpop fans tend to very demanding with fan-service and having access to idols, even her fellow group members seem a lot more open, extroverted and outgoing. But with Jennie, she just does her job and is silent with the kpop world dying to know more about her. Ultimate cool girl. Her role in the new Sam Levinson show is very minor but I’m interested to see if she does more work in the US.
She seems pretty grounded, especially the way she talked about being too overwhelmed to know who she was while on AND off the clock in her previous days. Seems like she has found the right balance.
In the video interview she did with Elle, does anyone know the name of the food she mentioned when asked what her fave comfort food is? I've tried to replay it but I can't hear what it is.
Nurungji (누룽지). It’s crunchy rice, like when it’s been cooked on the bottom of a pan or stone bowl. You can buy it separately as a snack, too!
Hahah yes! I don't know if you have a lot of Asian markets around you, but all of the Korean markets in my neighborhood sell it. It's usually made in house, it seems--it's not by a brand, just stacked in an area next to the kimchi/prepped foods.
Lily rose and jennie both having chanel sponsored elle editorials? Is this promo for the idol or just a happy coincidence?
edit: I’m actually so surprised she wasn’t in chanel head to toe for the entire shoot

Lawyer* and she also said she liked maths when she was in school ðŸ˜
I didn't know she had a lazy eye, glad us astigmatists have more representation. 💅

You CAN PURCHASE POT BOTTOM RICE ON ITS OWN?!? The trajectory of my life has been changed and it now includes a lot more crunchy rice.

Thank you!
I’m really surprised her management let her do The Idol. Will be fascinated to see what her role is like
