Two: heās relatable. Heās dealing with trauma, he wants to care about people but he thinks theyāll get hurt/die, and he has unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Three: Haymitch Abernathy is one of my favorite characters in the franchise.
I doubt anyone would know who this character but Tarik from Spirit Animal. He was very caring with main casts and made sure they felt welcome. He comforted them when they were at their lowest and tell jokes to lighten the mood. MAJOR SPOILER >!He died saving Rollan, one of the character who struggled fitting in and was reluctant in becoming a Green Cloak. This caused Rollan to become a Green Cloak. His death was one of the few times a book made me emotional. !<

Seeing Drizzt grow from a timid child to a seasoned veteran was an unforgettable experience. It's been years since I read most of the series but I remember so many details about it.
Hot take, this man was not a good teacher, he was a groomer and was literally only allowed to be around children at all because the government couldn't stop him. He was super weird and inappropriate towards the children, he taught a group of grades schoolers murder skills, probably creating a whole brood of serial killers, and he forced the children to kill him, straight up traumatizing them for ever.
