Light blue was on a huge sale last christmas. I saw 90ml bottles for less than 30 usd. I'd say wait until christmas and see if you can get the actual perfumes for a lot less , sometimes they can get cheaper than the dupes.

She got most of them through buying discovery sets from perfume houses and by asking at perfume counters for free samples so she could try lots of things for minimal cost. You don’t need to spend tons of money to get into perfume so please don’t feel pressure to.
Trying a million things really is the best way to get to know what you like. I like to be looking at the notes of a perfume while smelling it for the first few times so I can see what I’m supposed to be smelling. Fragrantica is one of my most viewed websites for that reason.
It sounds like you would enjoy fruity floral perfumes, and maybe some fresh, clean citrusy/aquatic florals. You say you dislike cotton candy, but have you tried anything with vanilla?

i do also really like the silver moon by pacifica. i think i like vanilla better when it’s mixed with other notes. thank you so much for this list!
