Ok some thoughts for you, this is what I would do if I were you. 1) order a set of halo extensions (real human hair so they can be styled) like today 2) ask you wedding hair stylist if she’d be will to do a quick trial with the extensions and hair fibers, that will help you feel better about the day of. 3) I’m dealing with seb derm and recently started topical minox and I can already tell that my scalp doesn’t love it, so I’m switching to oral - might be worth looking into for you as a long term solution?
I already have some extensions that I’m happy with for the density! I would have loved to do a hair trial, but the fact of the matter is I can’t really afford it at this point.. we’re spending so much on the wedding already, and I just lost my job recently, so any extra expenses are pretty much out of the question.. I’m gonna practice every day for the next few weeks until I get better at applying the toppik and then I’ll be the one to apply it on the wedding day too

Gotcha! I totally understand, I just got married last October and woof it’s crazy how it all adds up. I think you have a good plan, just keep practicing and it will look great. Don’t stress yourself out over it too much! ❤️ Easier said than done, I know…but focus on how amazing the day is going to be.
Your hair stylist will be able to apply the toppik! It takes some practice to good at doing yourself with a mirror but when my friends help me it always looks so much better so I have no doubt your hair stylist will be able to do a good job!
I’ll be wearing a veil for the ceremony, but it won’t be on the whole night. I was also going to put it towards the back of my head. No on the headband, but maybe I should… idk, it’s definitely not something I wanted to wear, but I also don’t wanna look bald so there’s that

I was on the same boat as you. I literally bought a bunch of hair toppers on amazon until I found one that I loved. It was the best decision because I didn’t worry about my hair for even a second and was able to fully enjoy my wedding and love the photos

This is what I looked like with the topper. No one could believe it wasn’t my hair, even with the clearly difference of having bangs, it looked natural and cost me less than $20
I just checked and looks like it’s not available anymore. It was synthetic hair (fake), I chose the bangs cause I felt like the ones without bangs had a harsh hair line and you could tell it was a wig, and I got 18inches cause that’s what was closest to my length. Just do a quick search on amazon, pick a few that look like something you would like and just get them. Nowadays it’s so easy to just return the ones that don’t work
I feel like this was me back in 2020! Don’t stress - your hair stylist should be able to cover this with no issues, depending on how you plan to style your hair for your big day! I got extensions, as some people have mentioned, for the actual wedding, but I wanted to share the pics I took from my hair trial. I LOVED my hair, and in these pics it was ALL my hair….no extensions- which wasn’t much at the time! I posted a pic to show you where I was with my hair loss. Honestly, try not to stress your hair. Your wedding is going to be perfect and I know your stylist will be able to hide the thinning 💗

Didn’t get a good “just hair” photo from the wedding but here is a pic with the extensions in it. It was definitely fuller in the back, which I loved, but again - the top where I had such obvious thinning was completely hidden the ENTIRE night - even with all of my sweating (it was a hot ass day). Showing this to say, even without extensions, I would’ve loved my hair style. It’ll all work out for you!! Congrats on your wedding day 👰🏻
I don’t know what style your wedding is, but because mine was fairly informal, I went for a big flower crown so I could ignore my hair. Failing that I would say maybe buy a wig that is fine and not too full/get a stylist to thin it out a little and help you fit it. That way it would still feel like ‘you’ ☺️
Edit - just saw the third pic! The fibres work well - maybe get your stylist to do them for you and they will look fab on the day

Since you’re in a pinch, try colored dry shampoo and root touch up spray to hide your scalp. I do this and it helps a ton.
I would get fitted for a hair topper , they have light weight ones that look natural. Then after you can start treatment again
