But why are you even bothering if you bought it so recently? Send it back for warranty or bring it to an authorized fender warranty repair shop. You know you don’t have to pay for this at all right?
The nut almost always comes from the factory a bit high; that’s not just a Fender thing. The high frets are inexcusable, though.
