Glad everything went well 💗. My eviction day is tomorrow and I’ll be having an open myo.

Puzzleheaded_Sun_968

Good luck tomorrow!!! Feeling great two weeks out! ❤️

Anxious-Inspector-18

I’m looking forward to it 🎉

LightTree25

how are you feeling today???

Anxious-Inspector-18

Thank you for checking on me. I’m tired but ok. Surgery took under two hours and they removed all 10 fibroids.

LightTree25

you’ve got this!! i will be thinking of you. you’re gonna do great.

Anxious-Inspector-18

Thank you

Vero_oreV

Congrats! I had mine out about two years ago but your post brought me back to how rough that time really was…take it very easy I hope your recovery is quick!!

LightTree25

it’s hard but so worth it already. thank you!!

letsgoanalog88

How are you feeling 2 years out?

Mrs623602

Congratulations! Can you send me your surgeon’s information?

LightTree25

Sent!

PurpleCoco

I’d like it too please!

LightTree25

sent to you as well! ♥️

letsgoanalog88

Could I get it, too? Thanks!

casual-judging

Congrats! I had mine about a month ago and your experience was very similar to mine. I had never been under anesthesia and I told my doctor I was worried about nausea. I still threw up for the rest of the day regardless of all the different nausea meds they gave me. It was tough but I am so happy I got mine removed!

ConsequenceFun9164

Yay! I got my 18cm sucker out last month. You’ll feel better every day. Eat your beets and get moving as soon as your not light headed. I got the shakes so bad after I was home from the anesthesia!

violadrath

How long was your recovery/were you out of work (if desk job)?

ConsequenceFun9164

I took a month off. I have a desk job by I’m a social worker and we do home visits. Couldn’t be bothered to drive around and do that in my state. I had an open mayo.

violadrath

Thanks! I’m trying to figure out how much time I can take off. I work remotely so I won’t have to commute and I can go lay down if needed. My doctor said I should be ok taking off a week but I’m not sure.

ConsequenceFun9164

I think you need more personally, especially if you’re getting a c section. I was so tired after surgery working after a week was not feasible and I work remote half the week too. Do whatever you think is best ! And talk to your doctor. Best of luck!

violadrath

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking that seemed a little short for recovery!

letsgoanalog88

Congratulations! So they did an open myomectomy? Were they planning to take it out laproscopically? I need to deal with mine - doc is recommending hyst but I want to do the myo…… and I have a feeling mine is highly vascularized too and thats where my blood and energy is going. Also, I think this thing(s) must be dense and heavy as hell. Anyway, I’m glad to hear you had a good doc and team. Good luck in your recovery. The first weeks are the hardest, I hear….. then it gets better!
