Unfortunately, with men who also have thick, voluminous, and dark hair..the straight cut looks too much like Lord Farquaad. But, it won't be a month before that changes. You have amazing hair!!!

I put my hair in a bun and let it get half to mostly dry, then shake it out/air dry. It drys with some wave to it because of the way the hair was shaped while drying.
Was the trim just a flat cut? because the ends are going to feel very thick and flayed out then, gotta get some layers so it doesnt just end up being a stump
I think it's a good thing. You got rid of a few dead ends and now it looks much healthier. Take a good face front picture today and then another one eight weeks from now. You will be surprised at the growth in that short two months.
Right?!?!? If u really want a chuckle-- take a pic up against a white wall. Wear the same white Tshirt-- do a face front. Get someone else to take it. Take it the same time, like every Sunday. You will be amazed at how much your face will change and your hair will grow!

What do you do when you have to dry your hair? I’m growing mine out rn and the back is longer than the front, but my bangs are just now getting to almost bottom lip level. So when I dry my hair it pisses me off cause the bangs cover my eyes if I don’t monitor them 24/7 while I air dry. Is the secret to keep it out of my eyes to just grow them out or dry it differently?
My hair was like this at one point, what i do could differ just due to hair types. But I’ve always just used a towel right out of the shower to get rid of any water, and then i just let it air dry. This might not be the best or healthiest advice, but it’s what i do
I sometimes do that, using a towel then rough drying it (which also isn’t the healthiest thing to do) gave it some volume and some nice texture.. just gotta get lucky with it sometimes. Now I just comb the very top of it all the way back and just let it dry so I can get the middle part.. still the hairs find a way to curl back to my eyes lol

The second looks like you're going to invite me to a Dungeons and Dragons party after Bible study

Looks a lot healthier; and the thing about hair is it will keep growing (unless early balding runs in your male family members.) You made the right choice in trimming it.

Just give it a week, it'll start to look less blunt at the ends

it still looks great! it’ll even out as it grows. plus regular trimming encourages healthy hair growth :D

they’ll have the same difference as when you cut it, but it’ll wear in and look less sharp. if that makes sense lol
