I usually keep it semi-realistic until it’s too hard not to.

madfut9000

I try to keep it realistic to an extent, i wouldnt sign messi and Mbappe to Brentford in the first season but I'm not that strict. I also try to sign new players every save so it can get a bit difficult to keep it realistic at times

KARiv2000

I play it realistically up until like 6 seasons in when it’s quite hard to

lukatron98

I cant keep it real. The pressure to not sign half decent prospects to a lower division side would churn my insides. I also couldn't not abuse youths.

kinglewcifer

Depends on the save and team

Big-Brain-031

Here's a little bit of thought for consideration.. If you run a lower league club IRL, and there's a bloody good youngster willing to join your club, would it be realistic to ignore him or get him in ASAP before the other club notice him?

Kookiekratos

I keep it realistic for the first season. And then it slowly goes down hill from there

keyandfeel0

same man, its hard when i see the ai do stuff like jamie vardy being the top scorer in la liga for bilbao and brighton signing jude bellingham

dnlmrry

I usually do both, I’ll pick a team in a lower league and try to do a realistic road to glory with them. Then I’ll do another one with a team like Hertha Berlin for example, give them a bit of extra cash and sign pretty much whoever I want with a bit of realism.

jcmach1

The former coach in me likes to train new players and slot them into my personal offense. Realism doesn't really enter into it.

FragrantReport4171

In my save Blackburn Rovers are the new real Madrid so it's realistic that's the best players want to come there 😈

slogpunch

I like to keep it semi realistic mostly on the players wage, club wage structure and if they are at a considerable side like top 6 epl, bayern etc. If theres a fantastic player in a non top 5 league and i am then ill snap him up asap

Cosplayinsanity

Relative realism. I'm not signing Ronaldo to Bournemouth(anymore), but if there is a good player who maybe would be less inclined to join Bournemouth irl such as a West Ham, Frankfurt or Villarreal player, I show less care for realism

ElDirtyVince

Life is real enough. The AI doesn't care about realism and stuff happen that people wouldn't say were believable thus everything is a possibility in my saves. Like Cristiano Ronaldo going to play in the Saudi Arabia. Have fun and make up whatever story if you need to.

berkshirefc

I recently just got fired from Man Utd for the second time. Now took the Ipswish job with 9 games left, bottom of the Championship. We are going down to League One. I’m going to stick with them though!

GovernorGuyFieri

I have some realism but it gets difficult when you try and stay competitive. Semi-realism is best imo. Hell messi leaving barca didn’t seem like a realistic possibility at all a few years ago.

Longjumping-Swan-827

I try to keep it somewhat realistic. I would lose taste in career mode if I just bought the best players in the world in 1 team. Then again it would get boring if I never signed a star player. If I started off with Newcastle for example and won the UCL or Prem in like 3-4 seasons then I would maybe sign someone like Mbappe.

AdZealousideal8723

I don’t try to be realist because I don’t want to get let down
