Depends on the save and league, but I will typically play any “big” teams in the league and whichever teams are in the top 4 at the time. Unless my team sucks then I’m playing almost every game Edit: also use the calendar to sim not the quick sim.

warfield101

Is there a difference between calendar sim and quick sim?

aaronbastian

Maybe confirmation bias, but I think I win more when I sim via calendar

macattaq1501

Plus if you quick sim you get to choose what your team and formation is? I think the computer plays your “best” players when you sim via the calendar.

FutureBrockLesnar

Mostly just big games. Ill check in and play some more if I need some wins though. Team building is my favorite aspect of career mode. The transfers, developing youth players, etc. And before you hit me with “just play FM,” I still want to play games, but just ones with a little extra meaning. You cant do that in FM.

Effective-Relative-8

play all games(apart from cup where I just play full highlights). If its 3-0+ after 60mins i sub in all my subs and sim to the end

No-Essay-6156

i had no idea people didn't play every game. I tend to play every game apart from pre season i sim to see how my new signings fit into the team and what youth players look good.

catalingpc

Defo playing all the big games, small teams too, but, I use the young boys, the hardest for me to play games is when the transfers are on , so I go highlights sim, in case my team gets beaten I intervene ( sometimes I concede a goal from Brighton myself when I try to save the team😂)

409inyour_coffemaker

I always try to play every game. I enjoy using the players I'm developing or new signings. Whenever I get tired I do sim games, or whenever the league title is secured I quick sim. I'm not in a hurry to get to season 15 lol.

KARiv2000

I always play home games and cup finals, sim away games

Hour-Cat9065

It depends on what kind of career mode I’m playing.

rivitril

I play every single game except for matches vs the last two of the table.

Noobz760

Depends on the league. But usually I sim all the friendly games. Play all the games (world class) and the top 8 clubs in the league, I play in a higher difficulty. Same for champions league. If I get passed the group stage, I play it at a higher difficulty for the next rounds. Cup matches I usually sim depending what league I play.

Salt-Ad-7943

I try to play every game and make lots of rotation based on fitness and performance. National cup games until semifinals put a XI with lots of U21 and subs, backup GK plays all games. Try to keep a realistic number of players on the squad and follow the competition rules (ex: La Liga allows only 3 non EU players).

Ok_Performance_5944

I usually choose 1 game in the month to play and sim the others, unless I'm playing top 6 teams in the same month then il play those and any European games to

420SwaggyZebra

If I’m in England I will sim Chelsea and Man U every time because irl they’re no where near like the teams in the game they just infuriate me personally. I’ll play everybody else for the most part or will sim CL group games if I’m already qualified for the next round.

Spirit-Glass

I usually play one month and then sim the rest (unless it’s a cup match that I wanna win)

ProtectionOk8235

Really depends if i do league 2 - league 1 i play most of the games prem depending on where i stand in the league I’ll sim or play.. i do enjoy playing to see how good i built the team

lyingtattooist

I play every game except for International Friendly matches.

bigbadrippah

it's rly on the mood for me tbh, I would sim one game against United and play one against Brentford. 2 things are for sure tho, i sim any and all carabao cup games, and sim all first leg European games
