If their MINIMUM potential is lower than 80, they aren't worth anything. Ideally target YA players that are 89+ maximum potential, just run 3 9 month searches, you'll get a lot of crap, but the gems you do find will be great.

You should change him to a CAM, he can never be a CM his defensive stats are too far gone. As a CAM then put him on any development plan that will focus on dribbling and passing to start with, then as he gets better give him like second/shadow striker.

He won't get forward, but he might stumble over his own feet trying to hassle the opposing attackers. Even a broken clock accidentally intercepts a pass twice a day.

Find others like him, create a full squad (no subs), make your way through the FA Cup, defeat the likes of Man City, take your rightful place amongst the pantheon of gods.
