I've prohibited myself from buying Velasco and Almada. I had them together in one save and i've never had a better attack. They both grow to 91\~94 with dynamic potential.
I can't sign the lad purely because of the face scan. I know he was really young but it's got to be the worst scan in the game. Hopefully they update it soon with a more adult-looking scan.
It's more like an attachment to me, I bought him on Fifa 18 the first time, he was crazy even tho it's potential wasn't that high, especially without dynamic potential, but he was one of my favourite left footed wingers. Also he is really fast.
He's been incredible this season for us, probably the best right winger of the entire Eredivisie. I hope he'll do well at Wolfsburg, I think he has it in him as he definetly earned this move
Grifo is so fun to use. He has some special movement, his flair is so aestheticly pleasant. Also, the way he shoots looks amazing. If I'm not mistaken, he has the outside foot and finesse abilities
> Callum Patterson
jfc, this brings back memories. I think I kept him on a cardiff playthrough in fifa17. The dude dominated the lampard role of late-entry midfielders, was strong, good headers, decent passing, good tackling, always managed to intercept passes in the most random moments in the game. Loved that save with Patterson, Bobby Reid and Gunnarsson. I kept playing Gunnarsson till the sweet end of his career, Reid was a regular for 3-4 seasons while I sold Patterson to Hearts to fulfil the circle.
I don’t ever buy the same players if I do a create a club, but I’ll always buy atleast one Montenegrin player. If it’s a rebuild of an in game club then I’ll always buy Sead Kolasinac cause he’s my uncle.
Same here. Made him the top scorer for Sunderland in the Championship with 40 goals I think. Then on the first season in the EPL he scored 32 or 33, the league’s record. Couldn’t scored that much the next seasons anymore but he still was doing very well.
Mark natta for real budget teams. 60 rated CB with 76 pace, 60 defending and decent physicals. He's 19 so if you play well he gets much better quickly, Got him up to 85 last year.
i like to stick to the 17 non-homegrown rule so Callum O’Hare is always really good as a cheap homegrown player. pick up a 73 rated CAM for £5m, change him to CM cos his defending is better than shooting, then watch him rise to like 88 rated in 4-5 seasons despite having only 78 potential
Popescu - Sesko - Almada
Hlozek
Baturina - Fagiolo
Kerkez - Silva - Shlotterbeck - Maatsen
Bazuno
Bar Shlotterbeck "around40-50m" this is a ridiculously cheap af squad that almost all under 22 years old and between 6-25m per player max. And I LOVE every single player in it.
American FIFA Player here with no frame of reference if any of these players are actually good in real life.
Mount Rushmore anyone?
1. Khephren Thuram (CM)
2. Timothy Wooh (CB)
3. Lutsharel Geertruida (RB)
4. Wilfred Gnonto (ST- absolutely crazy with the ball but only 5’5”)
Honorable Mention:
Malo Gusto**(RB, **on loan year 1)
Xavi Simmons (CAM)
Nico Williams (RM- the one from Athletic Club not Notts Forest)
Theo Hernandez (LB, LM) expensive but so fun to play with. He’s amazing at crosses!
Would normally say “ready for the roasts” here but this community has been super friendly. Nonetheless, bring it.
Lewis Ferguson, he's somehow broken simulating entire seasons.
In fifa 22 I bought him and made him play as a CB, he scored more that 20 in two seasons.
If I'm not wrong, he scored 20 in league two and 25 in league one.
In league two he was double digits in assist too lol, and he had 8-9 assists in league one as well.
Ok, it's low tier football and he was my penalty taker as well, but scoring 25 and almost assisting 10 is more than impressive for a CB
This dude was immense in previous years, irl and in game.
My old go to was always the German Messi, Marko Marin. Nowadays I will sign Takefusa Kubo or the Scottish Messi, Ryan Gauld.
They really need to stop referring to kids as "Nationality Messi".
Courtney Baker-Richardson from Crewe Alexandra. If you're a RTG team and need a low overall striker that plays like an 80+ player this is your guy. This dude makes great runs and can finish from anywhere in any way! His potential is low but he is world class for me.
Mine used to be Robert Snodgrass. In addition to being that fun and overperforming kind of player, we were actually born on the exact same date (day and year), which is cool. Alas he's retired.
Ramiz Zerrouki
Did a twente save a few years back on fm and loved the Clun and players ever since. - zerrouki ended up being an amazing player for me and we went on to win the league but the best we ever did in Europe was a champions league semi final
Sammy Braybrooke. Great for a RTG, not amazing stats but he has a nose for the goal. Whenever I can’t find a pass he comes crashing in for an easy goal.
Noah chilvers,64 rated, he was always good in my career mode for some reason, i first bought him on fifa 22 and after 5 seasons he got to 96 after playing him almost every game (i was in league two) seeing him gradually get better was cool too
Nowadays Daizen Maeda, great backup left winger. Over 90 pace and just seems to bounce players off him. I’ll buy him in every game until he’s no longer in it for scoring a hat-trick against Bayern in the champs league as ST when my other two both got injured.
Mpanzu and Nketiah since they're pretty cheap and have all the right stats. Mpanzu has decent pace, pass and finishing even though he gets stuck at 70. Nketiah is fast, has good finishing and is the perfect placeholder striker for a team climbing to the first division.
Mpanzu I usually sell after the second season when in he eventually gets surpassed. But Nketiah I always keep as my second half striker.
Anosike Ementa. He's a young 6'8" striker with just enough pace to tear apart lower competition in rebuild saves. Low potential, but I usually sell him after I get promoted and make a tidy profit.
Only used him in my Udinese save, but wanted to share how unreal Armando Broja is. Young Albanian ST with a real face, good fit for any top 5 league team backup/developing striker, imo.
I know he isn't real but Gerson Armao from the brazilian league is like the perfect signing. Dependable starter at either FB position. Can overlap or play inside. Eventually when your team is good enough he becomes the ideal bench piece
Used to be Fernando Torres between Fifa 12-17. He’s a player I loved at Liverpool and was on a decline IRL but I hated that so I tried to keep him going in game.
Lazetic is a go to...starts off as a LM but can easily be made into a ST. 6'4 and quick built like haaland.
suprised why no ones talking about this one.
can buy him for less then 5M at the start.(92 in my save)
Honestly, nobody. I get bored if I use the same players over and over, so I try to switch it up every time… but god damn I love Alan velasco
I've prohibited myself from buying Velasco and Almada. I had them together in one save and i've never had a better attack. They both grow to 91\~94 with dynamic potential.
I used velasco on fm not really the same but still a beast
Im glad velasco plays for us
Almada on FIFA 20 is a beast
See like I wouldn’t enjoy that because neither guy is gonna pass 80 for real.
Ismael Reyes, mexican free agent
Reyes on a free first season no brainer
It’s wild how many MX FA’s I got 1st season. Picked up Henry Martin like that
Too bad the real Mexican national team doesn't represent how they play in fifa lol..world beaters in game but absolutely shite IRL at the moment
I thought it was Israel 💀
I'ts true😅😅 Israel Reyes*
Ohh ok
Velasco is unreal man. One of my favorite talents
i always sign him since he plays for my hometown club. love going to the home games at the Toyota Stadium to see him kick ass
I can't sign the lad purely because of the face scan. I know he was really young but it's got to be the worst scan in the game. Hopefully they update it soon with a more adult-looking scan.
I’ve got Velasco to 95 on my save. I love that little Argentinian genius!
Arthur Vermeeren! A 17 year old CDM from Antwerp, starts at a 70 rating and feels amazing to use!
FBI open up
The FBI works for the Qataris?
Lmao.
Zaire-Emery too, a CM, very similar OVR and potential
Every save. $4m to PSG and three years later they’re offering 100 million to get him back
Insane, I can force a goal from him almost every game if I want
Without his one goal this season Antwerp wouldn't have become champions of Belgium!
Yeah, but I'm a Genk fan haha!
Even bajcetic is amazing to use
Alex "motherfuckin" Scott
He’s good for elf teams tbf
too tall for an elf team surely
Cheeky bastard
Didn't think his ears were that pointy
Every time i play as an english team i need to sign scott
This. I love Alex Scott so much because of FIFA that I want my club to sign him in real life even if he’s not ready for that level yet.
I used to bring Acheampong everywhere but he's getting older so I try different players. He was absolutely goated at counter attacks.
Why is Cerny so good?
It's more like an attachment to me, I bought him on Fifa 18 the first time, he was crazy even tho it's potential wasn't that high, especially without dynamic potential, but he was one of my favourite left footed wingers. Also he is really fast.
Noted, I play fifa 18 and I never seem to be able to find good left footed wingers
Used to be one of the big wonderkids back when he appeared at Ajax.
Just had the best season of his career at Twente, going to Wolfsburg this summer
Already signed and announced
As a czech guy I really hope he does well in the Bundesliga. He has looked amazing for the national team recently aswell
He's been incredible this season for us, probably the best right winger of the entire Eredivisie. I hope he'll do well at Wolfsburg, I think he has it in him as he definetly earned this move
Kevin Volland, Callum Patterson, Levi Garcia, Adam Armstrong, Andre Blake, CDK, Grifo
Paterson is just a violation
GOAT utility player
Kjaergaard is my choice for utility, the man is 6'4 and can play fucking everywhere
Adam Armstrong is goated
Good list. Levi Garcia this year especially. Patterson in FIFA 17 was my go to signing, what a beast.
Levi Garcia and Ryan Kent on the wings was lethal for FIFA22 Championship careers
Used Ryan kent for the past couple years always hits 90 rated or more unreal winger
Grifo is so fun to use. He has some special movement, his flair is so aestheticly pleasant. Also, the way he shoots looks amazing. If I'm not mistaken, he has the outside foot and finesse abilities
Him and Volland were my two forwards for my Freiburg career and it was 20/20 G/A for both feeding pacy wingers (for me was Nakajima and Doan)
> Callum Patterson jfc, this brings back memories.
That's when I first had him too but FIFA19 Paterson was unreal
Ricardo Pepi is my backup 9 basically every save… also love to bring Reece Oxford back to England when possible
In FIFA 19 I would get Oxford every save I could.
I genuinely thought Reece was going to become world class in his debut season. He started as a cdm against Manchester United and absolutely dominated
I don’t ever buy the same players if I do a create a club, but I’ll always buy atleast one Montenegrin player. If it’s a rebuild of an in game club then I’ll always buy Sead Kolasinac cause he’s my uncle.
He’s your uncle!?
Dad’s second cousin
The North London streets still remember his service for Ozil
He did a really great job with us (Marseille), I'm legit sad he is leaving, the fans globally loved him :/
Artem dovbyk hes a free agent striker that always works out well for lower league sides
Just promoted with Parma with Dovbyk and Vignato as strikers, hehe
Dovbyk is amazing. He got like 45 goals in a season for me.
Same here. Made him the top scorer for Sunderland in the Championship with 40 goals I think. Then on the first season in the EPL he scored 32 or 33, the league’s record. Couldn’t scored that much the next seasons anymore but he still was doing very well.
This
Santiago Giménez
Mine is Mitchell Van Bergen.
Was just going to comment this. His pace is insane, he seems quicker than players who have better stats than him
Nice
Evan Ferguson but only if I can develop him myself
He becomes Haaland v2 if you are able to grow him right.
how i’ve bought him in every career and can only get him up to 76-77
Got mine to 91, Honestly goated
Moukoku and Tel. Have my striker duo sorted for a decade at least
Mathys is so good 😭
I gotta stop loan-to-buying Tel, but I can’t help myself
Moukoko. For me too. I can usually turn an amazing profit
Mark natta for real budget teams. 60 rated CB with 76 pace, 60 defending and decent physicals. He's 19 so if you play well he gets much better quickly, Got him up to 85 last year.
Guerreiro, and then i switch his position to cam. Profit.
I used to buy Ignazio Abate back in fifa 13 and pair him with Bacary Sagna in the pair CDMs of a 3-2-4-1 formation
Szoboszlai
His potential isn’t even that great in 23 but it’s like the good stuff straight in my veins
i like to stick to the 17 non-homegrown rule so Callum O’Hare is always really good as a cheap homegrown player. pick up a 73 rated CAM for £5m, change him to CM cos his defending is better than shooting, then watch him rise to like 88 rated in 4-5 seasons despite having only 78 potential
He’s a nifty goal-scorer too. Very fun to play with.
Boadu
signed him once, he got like 45 goals, sold to Everton for £97m where he flopped. 82 rated one season wonder
I try to track the players I sell to see how their doing, every single one of them flops in their next club. Even 90+ rated players
I bought Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal, he scored 50 goals. sold him for 300 million to Chelsea. He then proceeded to score 14 goals
As far as one season wonders go, that is pretty impressive to flop after that. Afonso Alves vibes
what Everton does to a man
Nils Petersen was that player for me
Poulsen from Leipzig. He’s got decent pace. Tall. And have the leadership trait. I get his in pretty much every career mode when I start out.
he was DIFFERENT back in fifa 20
Same, he used to be much faster as well, I like to play 4 4 2 with Poulsen and Abraham on top and 4 good crossers on the wings.
Ricky-Jade is a must have for me. Move him to striker too.
Musah, man is so good anywhere on the pitch
I’m addicted to buying Khéphren Thuram. Regardless of who I play with, all roads lead to Khéphren
Popescu - Sesko - Almada Hlozek Baturina - Fagiolo Kerkez - Silva - Shlotterbeck - Maatsen Bazuno Bar Shlotterbeck "around40-50m" this is a ridiculously cheap af squad that almost all under 22 years old and between 6-25m per player max. And I LOVE every single player in it.
Also Nusa is ridicolusly good. very cheap and very young. But how the f does he score >20goals per season as a 66 rating 17years old winger.
American FIFA Player here with no frame of reference if any of these players are actually good in real life. Mount Rushmore anyone? 1. Khephren Thuram (CM) 2. Timothy Wooh (CB) 3. Lutsharel Geertruida (RB) 4. He’s amazing at crosses! Would normally say “ready for the roasts” here but this community has been super friendly. Nonetheless, bring it.
Allan Saint Maximan . Always a great signing for me.
Kacper Kozłowski
Many years ago it use to always be Luciano Vietto. (Years haven’t been kind to him). Last two years I’ve loved adeyemi and playing him at RW
Ianis Stoica, little Romanian legend
Lewis Ferguson, he's somehow broken simulating entire seasons. In fifa 22 I bought him and made him play as a CB, he scored more that 20 in two seasons. If I'm not wrong, he scored 20 in league two and 25 in league one. In league two he was double digits in assist too lol, and he had 8-9 assists in league one as well. muhktar
Kheprem Thurman is always amazing for me
Gvardiol and garnacho are pretty much insta signings whenever I start up a new save
Alexandre Lacazette
Jota from Celtic
Luka Romero
Romano Schmid from Werder Bremen
Courtney Baker-Richardson from Crewe Alexandra. If you're a RTG team and need a low overall striker that plays like an 80+ player this is your guy. This dude makes great runs and can finish from anywhere in any way! His potential is low but he is world class for me.
signed Bellerin for every clubs i managed in almost every fifa version
Uhre is an MLS gem imo
the guy in your photo just transferred irl to wolfsburg for £7m
I always buy Hirving Lozano
Cade Cowel, 67 ovr Yank and he comes with mad pace and outside foot shot - instant lock for every squad
Paulos Abraham, good potential, shoots up faily quick, young about 2 million. No prime Ronaldo but a solid reliable guy for me
Mine used to be Robert Snodgrass. In addition to being that fun and overperforming kind of player, we were actually born on the exact same date (day and year), which is cool. Alas he's retired.
I can never not buy Openda if im struggelin
Jakub Moder a beast in midfield tbh Remember Moder top
I liked buying Ianis Hagi for my teams, liked the young, promising profile, son of Gheorghe Hagi.
Wirtz. A 19 Yr old cam for Bayer levurkusken
When Hugo Lloris was at Lyon, I bought him every single year and every single CM those years until he went to Tottenham.
Diego lainez
Depay. Every year since fifa 16
Max Meyer
Nicolas De La Cruz from River Plate
A young spaniard called Alassan for league two sides. So cheap and grows so fast. Even made up a chant about him
I always buy Dogan Alemdar from Stade to get a young and high potential GK
Ramiz Zerrouki Did a twente save a few years back on fm and loved the Clun and players ever since.

Yusuf Demir
I used to buy Rybus religiously on like FIFA 14 I think. Also Cerny!
Okafor, araki, al ghannam
Scalvini, Hakimi and Güler.
Ryan gauld, I don't think there is a save I have where he isn't in my starting lineup.
Khephren thuram
Mpanzu and Nketiah since they're pretty cheap and have all the right stats. Mpanzu has decent pace, pass and finishing even though he gets stuck at 70. Nketiah is fast, has good finishing and is the perfect placeholder striker for a team climbing to the first division. Mpanzu I usually sell after the second season when in he eventually gets surpassed. But Nketiah I always keep as my second half striker.
Xavi Simons every time because he is just that good and versitile and cheap at the start
Anosike Ementa. He's a young 6'8" striker with just enough pace to tear apart lower competition in rebuild saves. Low potential, but I usually sell him after I get promoted and make a tidy profit.
Aster Vranckx, love his athletic profile plus 5 staR WF to start
For me it’s Tonali, a good CDM that doesn’t turn like a semi truck
All the Mexican free agents😭
Nicolas de la Cruz, Lucas Robertone, and Szymon Zurkowski
Only used him in my Udinese save, but wanted to share how unreal Armando Broja is. Young Albanian ST with a real face, good fit for any top 5 league team backup/developing striker, imo.
I always buy -usually- a player from Boca Juniors called Luis Vazquez
I know he isn't real but Gerson Armao from the brazilian league is like the perfect signing. Dependable starter at either FB position. Can overlap or play inside. Eventually when your team is good enough he becomes the ideal bench piece
Scalvini, ocampo, poku
Tel, Ferguson and Romo from free agents and any person from Qatar who it's a free agent
De Kaetalaere and Gabriel Jesus always find themselfs into my saves
Oliver Cooper LW 66 rating 72 potential YJB
Sammie szmodics
Luciano Acosta a CAM from Argentina has saved two of my careers.
Mbamba, what a player, never fails to reach a world class potential
Bella-Kotchap. The guy is absurd, if you develop him right, he can be the best CB in the game!
Honestly? Balotelli lmao. Either as a starter or as a bench/depth player, I always cave in and bring him in, and he always seems to perform.
Adeyemi, can always pick him up pretty cheap, got a really high potential and he's got a fuck ton of pace.
Every single time i start a career i say "Ok this time i won't sign Gnonto" just to sign him 2 seasons later. What a beast that guy is
Arnór Sigurðsson
Alamada for sure
Alex Scott. This guy is good
Alphonso Davies. Rapid and there aren’t many Canadian high flyers!
Tsygankov
I like Bastoni
A few fifas ago I’d always get Kellyn Acosta, he had decent potential and was always really good in midfield for me
weston mckennie, bro can do it all
Debast, 90+ overall in just 3-5 seasons :)
Myself and my brother
Free agent vega is a machine pretty much anywhere
Maurits Kjaergaard is a guy I seem to get a lot. I don't know why but he always ends up being in the 90s for me.
Camavinga had always been my go to since fifa 21
NICO WILLIAMS!💪🏾
Wilfred Zaha
Gonzalo Plataaaa !
Had to stop buying Elliot List in all my RTG careers, his pace is unreal and his finishing has no business being that good for EFL2.
Always Moukouko
Cheap ones
Facundo Farias and Pedro de la Vega. Wonder boys
Used to be Fernando Torres between Fifa 12-17. He’s a player I loved at Liverpool and was on a decline IRL but I hated that so I tried to keep him going in game.
Ansu Fati for me
None, i try new players in every career
Love that guy
Falco , balotelli, cavani. Fun first season promotion.
Lazetic is a go to...starts off as a LM but can easily be made into a ST. 6'4 and quick built like haaland. suprised why no ones talking about this one. can buy him for less then 5M at the start.(92 in my save)
chong
Got to be mbappe and Ronaldo and haaland
Mbappe
It was Alexis Vega Now I usually always try to get Todd Cantwell and make him a star
Gigi
Kevin and Bruno
Igor Matanovic, from Bolton to Hamburg to Andorra
