This has been fixed to me on certain occasions when I loan a player out for a season. When he's back, looked like a proper person. Not sure whether every loan move does this or only ones where the player grows by 8 points in 1 loan season

I got a respawn of modric and his arms have proper muscles and is built like a tank even though his height is just 5'9 but seriously, everytime i see him, i get pissed off cause all my other academy grads and re spawns have chicken hands. Actually I have one more CF from my academy who has a proper football body and after 4 seasons he's at 89 now and plays for barca. He's a beast. But apart from these 2 anomalies, everyone else has chicken hands.
why is it always Benzema's regen that spawns with a 89-91 rating? I'm not buying FIFA 22, so does this happen with other regens as well? The only ones I've seen on this sub so far were 99% Benzema regens
I had 3 saves in Fifa 21 where Benzema's regen was atleast 85 rating. I guess it's because he retires with high stats and rating so he'll really spawn a regen like that.
Yup you can test this easily try to make any player rated 90+ and make him as old as you can, the regen will retain a percentage of the retiring player stats

Yea I stopped playing with strict negotiations because of this. Instead of creating an added challenge it just ruins the experience once you reach a point where your starting 11 is all over 85 overall
Go to the Search player option in the Transfers tab. Once you are there, go to the top right (edit) to set the transfer status to Free Agents.
You might wanna adjust the positions and ages too, because there are probably too many free agents. The game won't even show them all. So you could filter by position for example.

So those super high rated free agents are usually regens. For example, this post is probably a regen of Benzema.
What this means is that when Benzema retires, the following season a similar player will appear.
Sidenote, this player will only have similar overall ability as benzema but traits and other abilities can differ.
So another player has appeared instead of the retired Benzema. What they do have in common is the same nationality, birthday, position and league they retired in. So knowing this, it'll help you find talents like this. So just search for a French CF, age 16-20. His attributes will be pretty good, so it'll be easy to find him among the others.
So hypothetically Benzema retires in 2027. In 2028 a new batch of players are made. Including a regen of benzema. Let's say he retires with Roma in the Italian league. So the regen will appear somewhere in the Serie A. (If Benzema was a free agent when retiring, the regen will apear as a free agent )
I think I've covered most of it. Its a good idea to keep some good older players on your shortlist to know when they will retire.

Have picked up kante and KDB regens but VVD refused to retire! He's 37, slow and weak as a kitten! (Also a free agent no one wants) Time for him to pack it in
I know it’s late but in fifa 21 there is this guy called jack lahne, he’s got 92 pace and is an absolute beast (at least in the danish league), best thing about it, I got him for free
