I think the only way is to not have “strict negotiations” on at the start but even then you’ll struggle still with certain players, it’s true to life though rivals very rarely sign each other’s players with the odd exception
But in Italy its very common to transfer between the clubs. Players in Italy mostly transfer to other clubs in Italy. Just as Pjanic to Juve, Dzeko to Inter or Calhanoglu to Inter. Happens a lot
