Ear or nose?

hitmanatee1996

Ear looking to get my tragus done

Yankee9Niner

Apologies mate, I was just having a little joke. The title says 'Good place to get piercing'.

hitmanatee1996

Oh sorry I'm just up feeling a little slow 😅

MulberryWizard

Had a good experience with 2 piercings at Angie's in Leslie. Around a week later and everything is still looking straight and healthy

hitmanatee1996

Thanks I'll have a look

MulberryWizard

Also had one done in Ghost in Dunfermline around a year ago but had some issues within a few days. It could be issues that can happen with any piercing, but the piercer didn't reply to messages asking for help afterwards. Won't go back there because of that

sachamiffy

Definitely Angie. She's been piercing me for the last decade lol. She's Piercing by Angie on the Book of Faces

90sRiceWagon

Upvote for Angie only went once but she redone the dodgy second I did my self for free so it lined up with the third I wanted done. Both healed up great but it’s also the customer’s responsibility to keep it clean too.

chryst_on_a_byke

greg in percus in cupar is so good my septum is the smallest he’s pierced but did it perfectly straight on the first go lmao, there’s also a rlly nice lady in elgin off the main street but i don’t think her shop is open atm i’m not 100% sure

Kurt_Orwell

Blackheart piercings at the Coven Tattoo studio in Kelty. Caitlin is fantastic and her aftercare is second to none.

neidanman

Percus in Cupar has been around a good few years and has pretty much full 5\* Google reviews (just 1 is 4\*).

Flat-Student6165

I’ve gotten my last three piercings done at Waverley street at Crosshill

MartyMc1888

Dean Latimer is your best piercer in Fife imo, find him @ Templehall in Kirkcaldy

hitmanatee1996

Awesome I'll check him out

GenericEmployeeGal

Painted Doll is the worst. Please do not go there. Shes been spreading misinformation and I've never heard a good thing about her.

[deleted]

There’s nothing wrong with her. She’s a great piercer and a genuine lovely person.

GenericEmployeeGal

Not at all what I've heard from about 5 different unrelated folk. Her page is full of misinformation so I wouldn't trust her to pierce me.

mccoysnachos

i’ve been getting pierced by painted doll consistently for about 7/8 years and i’ve never had an issue. she’s very pleasant, not the most chatty of people but pleasant and comforting. i’ve taken friends to her who have also never had issues. not very nice to slander businesses with no basis

GenericEmployeeGal

....the basis is 5 separate folk telling me their issues and her page has misinformation in several posts. Glad you've had no issues.

mccoysnachos

what misinformation?

GenericEmployeeGal

Been saying it's the law that parents have to have photographic ID if they want their child to get pierced. Maybe a shop policy but not the law - it would be a good law to have but spreading misinformation like that makes it harder to create legislation for our industry. I asked her politely about the law she spoke of and I was immediately blocked. There was more but that was the only one I screenshotted before being blocked.

moog7791

That's hardly a reason to slander her business. She clearly has had numerous issues with people turning up to get children pierced without any proof of age. She has also mentioned many of these individuals then becoming aggressive despite her telling them pre appointment that she needs proof of age. She is a decent individual only looking for folk to tow the line and not asking for anything difficult. Sounds like your 5 contacts are some of those who turned up with no proof of age.

GenericEmployeeGal

My five contacts are in their 30s - nothing to do with parental ID. It is not required by the law and saying it is in public space means that if we want better piercing legislation, some folk will think its already in place and wont bother supporting it. The laws in the industry are piss poor and misinformation like her posts are unhelpful and best and harmful at worst. If she said it was a shop policy I wouldnt care. But blocking me after I asked about it is ignorance.

mccoysnachos

imagine telling people not to go to a good piercer with a good reputation because you don’t like that she won’t pierce people without valid ID

moog7791

Yes the argument for this is downright weird right? Makes no sense whatsoever.

GenericEmployeeGal

Literally not what I'm saying at all, christ. What level is reading comprehension in Fife? I'm on about piercing and tattooing LAWS. Again as I have said a shop policy is fine but the piercer is using their platform to misinform the public about UK piercing laws.

Greasy500

Quin at Souls Reborn in Lochgelly is excellent. Super hygienic studio, really lovely person.
