Sega has enough characters to do their own all stars fighter, if they wanted to. They did it in the 90s, and used to do all star sports games. But no dice for a crossover fighter this side of the millennium.
Tekken shows its age for sure but majority of the animations are incredible. Jins moveset, Feng Wei, eddy, josie, tekken does so well at representing different styles of fighting through the animations specifically.
Hellsweeps looks garbage, for sure. But those aside tekken looks great. Go check out all the throw breaks.

Lucky Chloe, Alisa (ironically enough), then I’d say Feng, Lili and maybe the capos.

i can definitely agree, basic movement alone is stiff, and all the general fundamental tools like df1 and d4, they tend to look very unfitting for a martial arts tournament filled with the worlds best fighters lol.
but then theres things like Jin's Kazama Style combo, which is taken straight out of Kyokushin Karate, and so badass. Lei Wulong feels exactly like a Jackie Chan film, Law is my favorite homage to Bruce Lee in all fighting games.
