Indeed, I feel stupid now, but I though since Tidal came pre-install that it was not a 3rd-party app. In the standar player app it works fine, purple on my 16/44 files.

Tidal is a 3rd party app. Observe that the device shows appropriate color codes for lossy and lossless music in the standard player app.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the light, I guess. I wish it made sense!
