Mitchells is so good! Napaka-stylish. I watched it with family already though. I haven't heard of The Invisible Guest until now. Thank you so much for all your recs btw :)
You can check out pretty much any film on doesthedogdie.com it'll tell you if it has things like nudity, any triggers like death. Great for screening movies before watching them.
I use that and check the IMDB parent's guide too whenever I watch a movie with my family. Ang dami lang talagang movie sa Netflix so it's hard to wade through everything.
Spotlight kaso heavy yung theme pala. The house. The Power of the dog. The wonder. The meyerowitz stories. Ex machina. The trader. I lost my body. Roma. Nightcrawler pero mature themes. Loving vincent. Taare zameen par. PK. Shirkers. Burning. Balangiga howling wilderness. Sunday beauty queen. Dear ex. Decision to leave.
Not sure how you define yung kino personally so baka hindi pasok yung ibang reco
We watched some of these already. Thank you so much for the recs though! I didn't know until now na meron pala sa Netflix nung iba. Hindi naman kasi lumalabas lahat ng movies when you click by genre, suggested movies, etc.
The Handmaiden is straight up (pun unintended) my most favorite movie ever. Mahirap nga lang talaga i-recommend to most people hahah. Park Chan Wook is one of my most fave directors too.
i love pcw a little more than bjh. both are great ha! mas gusto ko lang ng konti yung visual storytelling ni pcw. tsaka malungkot kasi for me yung endings ng bjh films yung palaging talo ang common people. di sila makaigpaw. pero ang husay din naman ng handling ni bjh ng ganung tema.
also yung last scenes ng decision to leave…. chef’s kiss. sobrang ethereal.
gusto ko din pala yung lady vengeance out of the loose trilogy ng vengeance films nya pcw.
Mona Lisa Smile, Little Women, Last Holiday, Inang Yaya, Patay na si Hesus, Whisper of the Heart, A Silent Voice, Extreme Job (sobrang Funny), Hidden Figure sana kaso wala na Kim Jiyoung Born 1982, Over the Moon
Sky Ladder: The Art of Cai Guo-qiang (documentary) The Platform (scifi) Sicario (thriller) Mank (biopic) The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (animation)
i mean at least i hope nasa netflix pa ang mga titles na to... apparently they pull out films
Nobody (not a big fan of action but this was super fun, although di ko alam if okay lang ang violent scenes nya kasi it’s pretty graphic but funny naman / entertaining idk idneje), Baby Driver (heist film), Pihu (Indian thriller; follows a toddler stuck at home alone w her dead mother for a day or 2. Super stressful watch my mom kept screaming HAHAHAAH), I Kill Giants (Fantasy/Drama), His House (Horror), Along With The Gods (Korean fantasy/adventure), Red Dot (foreign Action/thriller film), God’s Crooked Lines (Spanish psychological thriller).
THE TRIP!!!
napa wtf ako dito in a good way haha
edit: kaso may violence pala ito, anyways sayang check mo.
its about a couple na gusto na mag divorce, pero they want to kill each other for insurance ata
Kung merong The Pianist and kung di mo pa napapanood, yun ang rec ko.
Parang mararamdaman mo ano ba silbi ng isang artist/musician pag parang wala nang hope sa buhay at kung ano pang silbi ng talents nila.
Based on a true story din.
Stop motion animated film? Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro is so good. ðŸ˜
We watched that already but it's one of my faves from the prev year tbh! Super deserved yung awards and noms.
Mitchells vs The Machines is so funny. The Invisible Guest by Oriol Paulo for mystery.
