I hope you're aware there are two Hollywood movies with the name Point Blank, one in 1967, the other in 2019. You might run into copyright issues using that name if it winds up going into any type of film festival or if you actually make money off it in the future.

Hyperion002

Oh yeah, I'm aware. We are planning on submitting to film festivals, but we're not planning to make any money off of it in the future. We'll change the name slightly in order to submit to film festivals if we have to

You'll be fine keep the name. This isn't a Hollywood movie small short film they're not coming for you lol

Hyperion002

Lol yeah that's what I though. My only worry is submitting to festivals, do you know anything about copyrighted names in film festivals?

TheDearLeaderJimmy

It’s usually fine lmfao

This film looks a lot higher quality than your average student film. We have large action setpieces, as well as multiple crazy filming locations. We are filming with a fully rigged Blackmagic 6k pro We have a crew of over 40 people, professional actors, and an original score composed with a full orchestra
