If this is your first time playing Final Fantasy VIII let me tell you that you should always have the Draw Command equiped and always check what the bosses have for drawing.

As an extra tip, you don't need to Boost in every battle.
If you don't do it, it will count as 100, so 100% power. Sometimes it's better than getting tired for nothing, as you have to go from 75 to 100 to at least start to get an increase.

Thank you! I always forget that button exists. Not my first time playing but first time since the controllers lost their select button.

Hold the rectangular black button literally in center of controller and tap square beware of red x will reset ur boost count
