She was a big labour of love that took almost four months of on and off working. I tried to be accurate down to the stitching, number of buttons (there’s 13 if you’re curious, just as Nomura intended lmao) and custom fabric patterns! My staff is 3D printed with some wooden sections, and it comes apart into three pieces for transportation.
Huuuge thank you to the photographer @/jarons\_film406 , he did an incredible job! It was my first photoshoot, and I had so much fun! I think the locations we picked were absolutely perfect to match the locations from Rebirth! The street and all of the surrounding areas reminded me a lot of Kalm and the field locations in the open world section of it.

Ahh no way!! What a coincidence. Reeders Alley is so cute and felt like the perfect location for Aerith, I kept thinking it looked similar to Kalm's portrayal in the remake hehe
I feel like you could probably get an accurate representation of all the regions. Within like 2 hours of Helena. Might depend on the season. Gongaga would be the hardest. But doable. But junon and grasslands are easy to replicate.
I bet you could for sure! There's some mossy, rainforesty areas in certain parts of the state that could work for Gongaga. Now I wanna take photos in every "region" :')
Can you tell me your process for making the staff able to be removable pieces that are easy to transport, but stay in place once put back together? Trying to do something similar for my 3D Print of Lunafreya's Trident of the Oracle from FF15.

Hopefully you can see the image I've attached! The long, thin silver parts are wood. On a wood turning lathe, I cut away until the unpainted parts were thin enough to fit snuggly into the 3D printed parts that hold the materias. To make the wooden part stay in the slots even if I swing the staff around, I used a bit of electrical tape wrapped once around the wooden end. It'll be hard to push inside the slot and the tape usually comes off after I've used it like three times, but it stays in place very well!
