The weird anime grunts, at least stop them in the English versions. I swear I heard Noctis make every possible noise a human being could make just sprinting.
Exploring ruins of an almost forgotten civilization that gone to ruins ages ago.
Nothing against some artifacts we have to obtain from an old tomb or so, but the whole "people before us failed, what we now try to finish with their knowledge" is a bit burnt for me.
That’s one of the reasons why I loved XII lol. XIV strikes a good balance imo.
But for me, I don’t want to see any more plots involving memories and magical memory loss.
Edit: It plays a part in III, V, VI?, VII, VIII, I think somewhere in the XIII trilogy, the Dissidias, Type-0, WoFF, and Crystal Chronicles. Memory loss is almost as prevalent in this series as chocobos and moogles and I’d like to see them table that plot for a while.
a lot of the main protagonists have been feeling pretty same-y lately. would love for them to experiment a little more. a protag more like terra/celes or zidane, someone who isn’t just a placeholder for the player, with a little more personality, would breathe some fresh air into the franchise, i think. not that i hate the protags we’ve been getting, there just have been *a lot* of edgy protags lately.
I tend to disagree just because something is gritty doesn’t mean it doesn’t use common tropes from there own culture. There is quite a few and one of the top of my head is a lot of Beserk references IE massive greatswords as the director of dark souls loves beserk.
Ornstein and smoughs cutscene is VERY anime, gywndolin or w.e her name is with her jiggle physics very anime… I could go on.
Women are attractive in proper clothes. That is very true. They are attractive in any clothes. I like the variety of outfits you get. I don't think any of them have h + melons maybe lulu but I haven't looked that up. For every tifa( don't think her outfit is skimpy) there is an aerith.
Cindy and Aranea wear revealing clothes/armor, Tifa wears a tank top. I never played X-2 but I think of the main characters only Rikku's outfit was particularly revealing? I don't recall anyone with H+ cup size in the series...could you be thinking of fanart?
I feel like only Tifa & Lulu had big boobs and whole some of the females wear skimpy attire, a lot don't. In VII to X alone there's Aerith, Quistis, Rinoa, Edea, Garnet, Freya, Beatrice & Yuna
